Wrestlemania I
April 6, 1986
Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles, CA
live on pay-per-view

Announcers John Elliott and Robbie Atkinson welcome us to Wrestlemania II. They run down the card and point out some celebtries in attendence, then Ray Charles sings "America The Beautiful."

Sol Salamanca made Baron Von Kaiser submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:05:45.
Rating: ****

Jimmy Blast pinned Bad Wolf Bridges after the Blaster in 0:08:29.
Rating: ***

Blast used a piledriver off the top rope to finish this match, the same as he did at last year's Wrestlemania. However, that was the end to a blod feud street fight. John Elliott questioned the use of such a brutal move in a relatively low-stakes match, but Robbie Atkinson responded that you do whatever it takes to win every match.

Bulk Logan pinned Rocky Hendrix with the Blockbuster in 0:05:29.
Rating: -3/4*

Moose Hartley pinned Rick Blood with the Skullcrusher in 0:07:02.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Chris Reese no-showed.)

Blood was clearly more concerned with trying to hurt Hartley than win. The announcers speculated whether this was a plan by Reese to soften Hartley up for a match in the near future.

[Managers Banned From Ringside]
J.C. Magnum pinned Russian Bear with the Magnum SK in 0:04:28.
Rating: * 1/2

Bear seemed uncertain without Ivan Morowski's ringside guidance, but still provided a major challenge because of the size disadvantage.

Rick Samson made Wally Richter submit to a backbreaker submission in 0:12:20.
Rating: **

Speaking of absent managers, Hanoi Xan did not accompany Richter to ringside for this match. It was a slow power match. Samson couldn't get Richter up for the Body Vice, but he was able to deliver a series of backbreakers then held the last one for a submission victory.

We go to Magnum Force's locker room where Harry Weston and Clint Wales are being tended to after being attacked. Veronia is missing and J. C. Magnum is visibily upset.

High Energy (Mark Gibson and Rob Dynamo) defeated The Butchers (Doug Rollins and Frank Richards) when Gibson pinned Dastardly Doug with the Headhunter in 0:08:06.
Rating: ** 1/4

Brett Hale pinned Cpl. Punishment with the Black Reign in 0:07:47.
Rating: 1/2*

The Jolly Green Giant pinned Mean Massimo with the Giant Bomb in 0:06:09.
Rating: DUD

Massimo never backed down, but an angry giant was too much even for him.

Bad News (Eddie Bearden and Porkchop Jones) defeated The Awesome McKnight Brothers (Bruce McKnight and Ralph McKnight)
when Porkchop pinned Bullet Bruce with the Special Delivery in 0:09:51.
Rating: * 3/4
(Bad News won the WCWF Tag Team Titles.)

(Bonesaw McGraw won the WCWF United States Title.)

(Randy Robinson retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.)
