Jammin' Jimmy Blast came out on crutches to open the show. Blast gave a cheap heat face promo (Bengals, Browns, Buckeyes, etc) to hype up the crowd and reminisces about coming to the Ohio State Fair as a kid. He was looking forward to defending the US Title today in his home state, but his ankle injury prevents him from doing so. His goal is to get healthy for Fall Brawl. Since he can't wrestle, he will be serving as the ring announcer for the show.

The Fabulous Ones (Rick Vine and Chris Reese) defeated High Energy (Mark Gibson and Rob Dynamo) when Vine made Dynamo submit to the Fine Grapevine in 0:10:33.

Logan grabbed one of Jimmy Blast's crutches and smashed it over Samson's back, drawing the DQ. After Blast announced the result, he told Logan he should go back to California because Ohio doesn't want fake cheaters like him. Logan confronted Blast and teased taking the other crutch away. Samson made the save, got Logan back in the ring, and put him in the Body Vice. Logan screamed that he gave up, providing a symbolic victory for Samson to send the fans home happy.
