Blackheart made Samson submit to the Blackout in 0:13:59.
Rating: * 3/4
A battle of mighty mustaches ended with a rare submission by Samson who couldn't fight out of a sleeper in the middle of the ring. Blackheart's decision to align himself with Magnum seems to have been a smart move, even as the surly Texan was clearly annoyed by Magnum's overly enthusiastic victory celebration.

Frank Gresham has a Christmas present from WCWF and TBS to the fans. In two weeks, WCWF Saturday Night will go to two hours every week! Also, events like Superclash, Fall Brawl, Starcade, and the MSG shows have been so successful that there will be more in 1985. Fall Brawl and Starcade return from last year, but WCWF is bringing back Great American Bash in the summer (the first GAB was held in 1979). But the biggest supercard in wrestling history will happen on March 31, 1985: Wrestlemania! It will be available not only on closed-circuit TV, but the new pay-per-view system.
