It's Saturday Night!  Do you know where YOUR action is?
Taped March 17th, 1999

Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Slam Masters!  We come to you from Kitchener, Ontario this week as the stars of the SMWA get ready to ship off to Scotland for a few days of fighting.  But before they go, we've got a great card tonight.
There'll be a battle of the big men as Angus Wallace takes on Nord Fullstrom.
Young Martin Riley tries his hand at one of the vets of the SMWA, Rod Emerson.
The Flying Scotsman, with Monica now at his side, will be in action, defending his Toughman Title against young Japanese superstar Kenji Hashimuto.
Andrew Marshall looks to plow over another Cruiserweight tonight as he defends his TV Title against the massively talented BC-2000.  In the meantime, Johnny Proton will defend his Cruiserweight Title against Naga Yajito.
To decide a tag team contender for Massacre on Monday, there will be a four corners tag team match, with The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine, Lantern and Teknos, Overcompensators Anonymous and Fuerza Dragon looking for a shot at the Air Raiders.
The Saturday Night Tradition continues with our Luck of the Draw Match.
And, in our main event, "Hardknocks" Terry Sky, now a grudging servant of Simply the Best, gets a shot at the North American Title against Wild West himself, West Bronco.
Nick Jones is backstage, John Lee and Tony B are on the mics and we're ready for our first match!!!

Quasar
vs
Spoon Man

It'll be the battle between the man who, years ago, copied Lantern's gimmick and the man who wished he had stolen Lantern's gimmick.  Quasar vs Spoon Man!  These two are both looking to break in to that upper echelon of the Cruiserweights.  A victory here would help.

These two were a little slow to get going, counter wrestling for the early portion of the match before Quasar countered a hiptoss with a clothesline.  Quasar stuck to the mat for a bit, hitting Spoon with a DDT before jumping on him with a legdrop for a two count.  Spoon got up and was taken down by a DDT.  Quasar went up top, but Spoon grabbed him and pitched him to the mat, following up with a flying senton!  Instead of a cover, we were treated to a spoon solo.  That just isn't sound strategy.
Things went back and forth between these two in a match which, while decent, wasn't the greatest.  The end came when Quasar, after knocking Spoon outside with a dropkick, went for a plancha.  Spoon moved, went back in the ring and dropped on Quasar with an Asai Tornado Dive!  That was all for Quasar, and Spoon man rolled him in the ring and nailed the Spoonsault!  That was that.

Spoon Man pinned Quasar with the Spoonsault in 0:09:18.

Spoon started playing, and we went to the back.  Nick Jones had an interview.

Jones:  Fans, thanks for joining us for yet another Saturday Night Slam Masters.  My guest right now is the new SMWA Television Champion, after his victory against Grant Redstone at The Journey, Andrew Marshall.  Welcome, Jackhammer.

Marshall: Hey.

Jones:  A big week for you so far, Andrew.  You won the Title on Sunday, and you're already defending the Title for the second time here tonight.

Marshall:  Well, Jones, I have the belt.  Might as well defend it.  I'd have to say I'm doing a better job then some of the other guys who've held this belt lately.  I don't plan on being a one month champion like those guys.  I've got staying power.  I'm planning on giving a little stability to the TV Title, so when those folks at home turn on their TVs, they can see a real champion, not some one month nobody.

Jones:  So you're expecting a long title reign?

Marshall:  Jones, I'm going to say it right now and get it out of the way.  I'm predicting the longest TV Title reign in the history of the SMWA.  For years, when people look at this belt, only one name is going to come to mind.  Andrew Marshall, the greatest TV Champion in history!  Bet it all on that one, Jones, cause this belt is mine for as long as I want.

Jones:  I don't doubt you believe it.  Andrew Marshall!  Fans, we'll be taking a break, but we'll be back with more action on Saturday Night Slam Masters!

Angus Wallace
vs
Nord Fullstrom

Two three hundred pounders are about to butt heads in what should be a hard hitting matchup.  Nord Fullstrom is always a threat, while Angus Wallace seems ready to take on StB with his comrades in Highland Hell.  Should be interesting.

Well, maybe not so interesting.  When you get  two guys this big together, you're going to see a brawl, no question about that.  That's what we had.  Angus controlled most of it, but Fullstrom held his own.  The only difference was that Wallace seemed more interested in actually hitting a move here and there.  Fullstrom was wrestling impaired this night.  Wallace wore big Nord down with a sleeper.  He used a rare high spot, hitting a flying axhandle.  The For William was a bit tough, because Fullstrom was just too big.  But in the end, it was Angus standing tall.

Angus Wallace pinned Nord Fullstrom after a waistlock suplex in 0:09:55.
Rating: -3/4*

He's beaten the mediocre... can he now beat Simply the Best?
One commercial later, we were back in the ring as one of our youngest guns was about to take on one of our most established vets.

"Bonecracker" Martin Riley
vs
"Iron" Rod Emerson

Martin Riley has consistently improved over the past few weeks, looking better and better with each opponent.  Rod Emerson seems to be going nowhere after the Steelworks break-up.  He doesn't seem interested in feuding with Marshall for some reason, even though he's the TV Champ.  Maybe Emerson is just at that winding down stage of his career.
Emerson got a pretty good reaction when he came to the ring.  Kitchener isn't more than half an hour away from Hamilton, Ontario, Emerson's home town.  He'd have the home field advantage tonight.  Would he be able to do anything with it?

Emerson started this one off brawling, and though Riley is a tough kid, he's more of a wrestler than a brawler, and that showed fairly early on.  Emerson hit a piledriver in the early going to put him squarely in the driver's seat until Riley managed to strike back with a double underhook suplex.  That's when the mat master went to work, locking Emerson in just about every lock imaginable.  A big dragon sleeper nearly took Emerson out, but Iron Rod managed to make it to the ropes.
A series of counterwrestling was ended when Emerson hit a gutwrench suplex.  This match was very even, as these two men made sure not to let the other gain the edge for too long.  Emerson started to pull ahead with a series of lariats, but Riley fell to the mat on one, nailed a drop toe hold and locked on an Achilles lock.  Emerson scurried to the ropes.
Riley took Emerson down with a back suplex and locked on the Riley Ride!  Riley was too close to the ropes, though, and he was able to get to the ropes.  Riley let go and whipped Emerson in to the ropes.  A clothesline was ducked and Emerson clipped Riley's leg, putting him to the mat.  Riley clutched his knee and Emerson picked him up.  He had him locked for the waistlock suplex, but Riley fought free with a few elbows.  He got behind Emerson, locked on a full nelson and took him down with a Dragon Suplex!!!  Limping, Riley went to Marshall's legs and locked on a Texas Cloverleaf!  It didn't take long for Iron Rod to give up.

Martin Riley made Rod Emerson submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:12:21.

Martin Riley injured his right knee. He will be out for approximately 3 cards.

A loss in front of your hometown crowd.  That can't be good for the ego.  Still, good perseverance on the part of Riley.  He earned his victory tonight.
After another set of commercials, it was time to watch a couple of guys duke it out!

SMWA Toughman Title Bout
The Flying Scotsman (C) w/ Monica
vs
Kenji Hashimuto

Could Kenji be the man to dethrone the Scotsman, who has held the Toughman Belt for four months now?  Or would he be just another smear on the Scotsman's gloves?  Kenji has the martial arts experience, but he's more prone to using kicks, banned in this kind of match up.  Could he duke it out with Scots?  We'd find out.

Round 1
Kenji came out swinging with rapid fire blows, pushing the Scotsman back to the ropes!  Quite a surprising flurry.  In fact, Kenji was landing more punches than the Scotsman!  But the ones Scots was hitting hurt more.  Kenji went down twice in the first round and, by the grace of God and his own quick feet, he managed to avoid the Scotsman for the last 20 seconds, taking this to round two!

Round 2
Once again, Kenji punched faster, even managing to work in a takedown during the encounter.  Once again, though, Scotsman pulled through.  Three big punches, and the Scotsman had made another successful defence.

Brawl For All:
The Flying Scotsman defeated Kenji Hashimuto via second-round technical knockout at the 00:45 mark.
(The Flying Scotsman retained the SMWA Toughman Championship.)
Kenji Hashimuto injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 4 cards.

Monica leapt in to the arms of her new man and the two started to make their way from the ring.  SlamVision suddenly started up, and on the big screen were Ron Grayson and Cody Simmons!  What were they doing here?

Grayson: Well, well, well.  Look what we have here.  Hey, "Quick Draw".  It's Saturday Night!  Do you know where Monica's been?

Cody:  You know, Graeme Cracker, that last win was really impressive.  It took you all of two rounds to beat some guy who's never seen a pair of boxing gloves before in his life!  Me, on the other hand... Well, let's just say that nobody knows how to use their hands like me.

Grayson:  Cody!  Don't talk about... THAT!!!

Cody:  Wha... GROSS!  I walk talking about boxing, Brainiac.  Okay, Scots, here's the deal.  When you screwed with Monica, you screwed with me and Ron, too.  You also screwed everybody else she's ever been with, which is a lot of people, but that's besides the point.  The fact is, you stuck your little piggy where it shouldn't have been, and we're going to make all of Highland Hell pay.  This Monday.  Massacre.  Bring your little belt to the ring and I'll show you what a real boxing match is all about!  And if you don't like it, I don't care, because me and Ron are Simply the Best, we're assholes and DAMN PROUD OF IT!!!

Grayson:  See ya Monday, Quick Draw!

    With that, SlamVision clicked off.
Monday Night!  The Flying Scotsman vs Cody Simmons for the Toughman Title?  What a fight that should be!!!
    TV Title after these messages.

SMWA Television Title Match
"Jackhammer" Andrew Marshall (C)
vs
BC-2000

Many of the recent TV champions have squared off against Cruiserweights in their first few defences and had major problems.  Grant Redstone's inability to defeat the California Kid is a wonderful example of that.  Andrew Marshall has already proved he can get past that jinx, taking down Lantern on Monday Night.  Can he do the same to the ultra-talented BC-2000 tonight?  We're about to find out.
The same crowd that cheered Emerson was booing Marshall fairly handily.  After all, it was Marshall who attacked Emerson when Steelworks broke up.  Andrew Marshall was in enemy territory.  Not that having the home field helped Emerson any earlier, but...

It didn't take long for Marshall to assert his power advantage, flipping BC around the ring with a series of belly-to-belly suplexes before taking him outside.  Marshall was going to be the bully this match, brawling and torturing his smaller opponent.  BC was in a bad way for the first five minutes of this match until he moved out of the way of a charging Marshall in the corner, sending him crashing to the buckle.  BC stepped to the middle ropes and came off with an enzuigiri to the back of Marshall's head, taking Jackhammer down.
BC-2000 kept up the high flying offence for a bit but misjudged a flying cross body.  Marshall caught him and hit him with a big running powerslam.  Marshall was back in control, using his power, keeping things grounded.  After a series of Japanese armdrags, Marshall locked on a double armlock, looking to rip BC-2000's shoulders off.  BC got to the ropes, but he was slowed.  Wrapped him up for a German suplex.  BC was taken over but, in mid-air, he flipped and landed on his feet!  Marshall turned around and caught a savate kick to the face!  The kick sent Marshall through the ropes and to the outside, where BC was quickly on him with a no-hands plancha!
The floor belonged to BC-2000, who was too quick for Marshall.  In a beautiful spot, he grabbed Marshall in a headlock and bulldogged him on the ring steps!  Jackhammer was rolled back in, where BC hit him with a side belly to belly suplex!  He gave the signal!  Time for the Time Bomb!
Marshall was too big and BC-2000 was a victim of a backdrop attempt, but he landed on his feet.  Without even turning around, Marshall hit him with a reverse clothesline!  BC-2000's head bounced hard off the mat, and Marshall had the match under control.  Following a few suplexes and another reverse clothesline for good measure, Marshall scooped BC-2000 up on his shoulders, ran forward and spiked him with the De-Facer.  It was all academic after that.

Andrew Marshall pinned BC-2000 with the De-Facer in 0:15:06.

A good effort by BC, who put on a great display.  Just not enough to take down the man who said he'll be the longest reigning TV Champ ever!
After another break, Nick Jones was backstage with the North American Champion, West Bronco.

Jones:  Welcome back to the show, fans.  Still to come, Johnny Proton against Rokuru, the big four way tag match, the Luck of the Draw match and, for the North American Title, Terry Sky, who's under new "management", if you will, against my guest at this time, the new North American Champion, West Bronco.  Welcome to Saturday Night, West.

Bronco:  Great to be here, Nick.

Jones:  Well, first off, I think congratulations are in order for your defeat of Ghost on Sunday, but I gotta say, it wasn't exactly a clean win.

Bronco:  Well, Jones, wrestlin' aint exactly clean no more, so draw yer own conclussion, but I will admit to an assist.  You know, can't say Ghost wasn't right.  I've had a lot of help to get where I am, and there've been a few matches where things just fell in to place.  You know what though, Jones.  Half of everything in life is luck, and the other half is fate.  Maybe I got a lucky win or two, but it was my fate to be here right now, and you aint tellin' me different.

Jones:  Hey, I wouldn't try it.  Now, tonight, you're going to be facing a man who's had tremendous ups and downs over the past few months.  You know him from your days with the Raiders, of course I'm talking about "Hardknocks" Terry Sky.

Bronco:  You know, I've always thanked Titan for his help in gettin' me here, but I guess I gotta thank Sky, too, cause without him, the Raiders wouldn't have anybody to fight against.  Now, Sky, I don't like ya, but I respect ya, and I think you've been screwed around a lot over the past few months.  Tonight, I can promise you a fair shot at this belt, but I'll say this much.  Just 'cause I'm givin' you a shot don't mean you're gonna win nothing.  I like this belt, and I'm going to do my best to hold on to it.  So, be sure, Terry, by the end of this evening you are gonna end up ALL BUCKED UP!!!

Jones:  Say hi to Bonnie for me, West.

Bronco:  Will do, Nick.

Jones:  West Bronco, ladies and gentlemen.  We'll be right back with our Cruiserweight Title Match!!!

SMWA Cruiserweight Title Match
Johnny Proton (C)
vs
Naga Yajito

Before this match begins, let's all say a prayer for the Cruiserweight Title and hope it finds a good home with Johnny Proton.  It's been bouncing around just a little too much.
These two are no strangers to one another.  They were supposed to have met at last year's Crash Carnival, but an upset by the then-unknown Ultimate Spider changed that match.  Proton and Naga have met before, with Proton having the edge so far.  However, we know that Naga has been training with the Baki Mono lately, so who knows what he's bringing to the table.

The battle started with Naga assaulting Proton right off the bat, using his martial arts skills to gain a distinct edge over the Cruiserweight Champion.  Naga was the much better fighter by far, and Proton was having trouble keeping up at the start.  Finally, though, after several minutes of a beating, Naga made a mistake and telegraphed one of his kicks.  Proton ducked and felled Yajito with a leg lariat.  A quick gutwrench powerbomb put Naga on the mat, and Proton quickly went up top and delivered a flying elbowdrop.  A cover was followed by a quick two count.
Proton enjoyed several more minutes of success until he missed his Proton Kick and Naga countered with a legsweep into a kneebar.  Proton struggled to get to the ropes and finally did, but the damage was done.  Naga once again brawled his way ahead, keeping Proton grounded with some solid mat holds along the way.  Naga's strategy was working perfectly until he took a risk he shouldn't have.  Proton was tossed outside and Naga tried to take him out with a tope!  Proton moved and Naga crashed into the ground.  Quickly, Proton was up on the apron and he nailed a recovring Naga with an Asai moonsault.
This contest went back and forth, back and forth.  Naga kept fighting, while Proton kept flying.  Naga nearly took it with a vicious thrust kick, but Proton came close on a Northern Lights suplex!  The end came after a heated exchange, with Proton up top, going for a flying dropkick.  Naga moved and Proton hit nothing but mat.  Quickly, he grabbed Proton's arm and tried to lock on the Fire Burn Stretch.  Before Naga could get both arms hooked, Proton rolled over on the mat and put Naga's shoulders down with a backslide variation.  Naga kicked out, but when both men were up, Yajito was flattened by a Proton Kick!  That, as they say, was the end of the match.

Johnny Proton pinned Naga Yajito with the Proton kick in 0:22:59.

An excellent match up between these two.  Looks like Proton's on his way to a long title reign.  At least, we hope so.
So quick advertisements, then we returned for tag team action.. and a lot of it.

Four-Corners Tag Team Match
Overcompensators Anonymous
vs
Teknos & Lantern
vs
The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine
vs
Fuerza Dragon

So, what do we have here?  One goofball team of overachievers, two cruiserweights who don't quite get along but are teaming anyway, former three-time tag team champs in a big slump and a team that's always in a slump.  The winner gets to face the Air Raiders on Massacre.  I'm betting on the Air Raiders.

This one started off with Crash Burnz brawling with anything that moved.  Teknos was the main recipient of the beating until he managed to get Wally B in the ring.  Wally tried to get up in Burnz' face, but it didn't quite work, and he was soon being rubbed out on the mat.  After a beautiful dropkick, though, Wally made a tag to the California Kid.  At the same time, Burnz made the tag to Lantern, who greeted Cal with a faceslam.
Lantern and Teknos kept making quick tags, centring their attack on the Kid, nailing him with several double team moves including a nice double spinning elbowdrop.  Teknos tagged out to the Dragon de Actor, and for the next few minutes, something very odd happened.  Everybody in the ring was completely focused on Overcompensators Anonymous.  Wally B and the Kid were getting the crap kicked out of them by three teams.  Does anybody really need to ask why?  Finally, the Kid managed to get a tag to Actor, who went in and faced Crash Burnz.
Using some decent mat skills, the Actor managed to keep Burnz from brawling for just a little bit.  Teknos was tagged in and, with the Actor's help, Burnz was put up on the top rope.  Teknos took him down with a double underhook superplex.  Teknos quickly tagged in to Lantern, who then pasted Burnz with a flying bulldog and went for a cover.  Two count.  Actor was brought back in, but Burnz was ready for him.  The brawl moved outside quickly, and Burnz hit an amazing move, the Third Degree off the top rope to the outside!  Both Actor and Burnz required help from their partners to get back in the ring, and even then, both were almost down for the ten count inside the ring.
Burnz made the tag to Battle, and that was pretty much it for the Actor.  A few failed tag attempts were made, but in the end, a big power bomb was followed by the Extreminator and Actor was the first man out of this match.

x Slash beat Actor via the Extreminator in 0:12:30

Teknos charged in to the ring with Lantern and both men took it to Burnz.  After a series of double team moves, a tired Burnz made the tag to the California Kid, who nailed Teknos with a flying forearm smash on his way in.  Teknos countered a gutwrench with a Doctor Bomb and went up top.  Wally B shook the top ropes and Teknos fell, his back to the ring.  The Kid got up, climbed the buckles and hit a reverse huricanrana.  Kid bounced off the ropes and Battle tagged in.  Battle floored him with a lariat and went to work on Teknos.  In less than a minute, Teknos was being held up by Battle and Burnz was coming off the top ropes with the Philadelphia Back Breaker!

x Burnz beat Teknos after the Philadelphia Back Breaker in 0:16:13

We were down to two teams, and the mismatch was obvious to anybody who was watching.  The PXM immediately focused on the Kid, who was hard pressed to fight back.  Wally B wasn't much help, as all the times he rolled in to the ring, he was tossed right back out.  Finally, the PXM lifted the Kid up for the Philadelphia Back Breaker.  Wally B saved his partner by pulling Burnz onto the top ropes.  The Kid took Battle down with a DDT and quickly went up top.  A shooting star press resulted in a two count.
Burnz came in the ring and attacked the Kid, taking him down with a DDT.  Wally got in the ring and the two brawled outside.  The ref was distracted, and Battle went outside.  He grabbed a glass bottle from one of the fans (who knows how he got it), and brought it in to the ring.  He swung at the Kid, who ducked and caught Battle with a kick to the midsection.  Battle dropped the bottle, the Kid picked it up and broke it on Battle's ear with a spinning back fist type move!  Battle fell to the mat, the Kid tossed what evidence he could out of the ring, and locked in the California Deathlock.  The ref turned around, saw an unconscious Battle's shoulders on the mat and counted!

WOW!  Cal out hardcored the Hardcore Kings.  Quickly, he grabbed Wally B and got the heck out of dodge.
This Monday on Massacre, we could see brand new Tag Team Champions.  And they could be Overcompensators Anonymous.
    Damn.
Another commercial set, and we returned for our Saturday Night Tradition!

SMWA Luck of the Draw Match

These schizophrenic matches are either a bomb or the bomb.  Wonder what tonight will end up being?
We heard the opening chords of Van Halen's "Seventh Seal", and that could mean only one thing.  Grant Redstone was on his way to the ring.  Fresh off losing the TV Title to Andrew Marshall at The Journey, you could bet Redstone was looking for a win to get back in that TV Title picture.
Unfortunately, when we all heard that eerie violin being played, we knew it wasn't likely to be.  Saul Masters and the rest of Major Force weren't here, but Ghost was.  He, too, became a former champion at The Journey, but he got his revenge, beating on Alexander "The Grater" during the closing moments of the match with Scorpion.
These two met before in a great encounter at Smashed Up, before New Year's Smash of this year.  Ghost took it, and he's definitely the favourite to take it tonight.

As soon as Ghost got in the ring, he was rushed and grabbed by Redstone, who took the Pale Rider down with a picture perfect belly-to-belly suplex!  Redstone straddled Ghost and began punching him in the head before taking him down with a vertical suplex and going up top for a flying elbowdrop.  The move connected, but Ghost didn't stay down for too long.  Redstone picked Ghost up for a Northern Lights suplex, but Ghost quickly took control, countering the move, nailing Redstone with a jumping DDT.
Ghost, cool, crisp and methodical, as always, controlled the match.  Redstone couldn't get an offence going, as Ghost was constantly beating him to the punch.  A big thrust kick offset a Redstone tackle.  A doctor bomb countered a gutwrench attempt.  Ghost wasn't holding back on the big moves, and Redstone had very few chances to get anything going.  After a big spinning power bomb, Ghost went to the top ropes.  Before he could reach the top, though, Redstone was up!  He hooked him up and threw him off the top with a belly-to-belly superplex!!!
Redstone kept on fire for the next few minutes with a breathtaking series of suplexes.  However, the series was cut short when he missed a charge in the corner.  Ghost ran in with a high cross body press and then took Redstone down with a dragon suplex.  Quickly, Ghost locked on a dragon sleeper.  Redstone broke free of the hold and nailed Ghost with an Exploder suplex!  A two count followed.
Redstone hit with a few more suplexes.  He put Ghost up top and went for another belly to belly, but Ghost planted a knee in Redstone's gut, sending Big Oz to the mat.  Quickly, Ghost came off the top with a shooting star press!  Not even bothering to make the cover, he picked Redstone up and floored him with the Final Breath!  Put the check next to the 'W', this one's over.

Ghost pinned Grant Redstone with the Final Breath in 0:10:58.

Main Event
SMWA North American Title Match
West Bronco (C)
vs
"Hardknocks" Terry Sky

******** Cue Ring Announcer *******

RA:  Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the SMWA North American Championship!!!

******** Cue Terry Sky's Theme ********

RA:  First, the challenger... From Atlanta, Georgia...  Weighing in at two hundred and twenty seven pounds... "HARDKNOCKS"! TERY! SKY!

Kitchener was digging this guy.  Sky was here alone, no StB "back-up" to speak of.  Tonight, he'd have a chance to win the same Title he was screwed out of in the days following New Year's Smash, when Major Force stole the belt and, allegedly, his money.  Tonight was a big night for Terry.

******** Cue West Bronco's Theme ********

RA:  His opponent...  From Tombstone, Arizona...  Weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds....  The SMWA North American Champion...  WEST! BRONCO!

West Bronco got a damn fine reception, too.  These were a couple of hard working young guys hooking it up, two guys who, down the road, could both wear the World Title.  Tonight, they're fighting for the first step there.  The North American belt.
Bronco climbed in to the ring and handed the belt to the referee.  It looked like we were ready to go.

******** Cue StB's Asshole Theme ********

Clark:  Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry....  No, Terry, no!

Rick Clark was on his way to the ring, and the crowd in Kitchener didn't seem to appreciate the delay.  Not that Rick Clark cared.

Clark:  Terry, I need to remind you about something.  See, I'm in control of that contract of yours now, remember?  That means I am the guy that controls who you wrestle and when you wrestle.  "Jumbo" Jack, Highland Hell... THOSE are the guys I want you dealing with.  West Bronco?  The North American Champion?  Sorry, Terry, no dice there.  West, it looks like you're going to be without an opponent.

Terry Sky was visibly pissed in the ring.  He didn't want Clark costing him this big shot, but it didn't look like he had much of a choice.
Bronco wasn't too happy, either.  He had the mic.

Bronco:  Okay, Rick, you aint go no business here.  I'm signed to fight Terry Sky, and I'm going to fight Terry Sky.

Clark:  No you're not, West.  Terry Sky has officially forfeited this match, because I say so!  But, if you're looking for a replacement...

Bronco:  Oh, a replacement?  I could ask if there was anybody in the back, but I'm guessin' yer talking about you, right, Rick?

Clark: Ding Ding Ding!  Smart thinking, Yahoo!

Bronco:  Well, gee, Rick, since you asked so nicely.... NO!  I aint got nothin' signed with you, and if my opponent is taking the night off, I might as well hit the bar early and...

Terry Sky grabbed the microphone away from Bronco.

Sky:  You know what, West?  Just wrestle him.  Go ahead.

Bronco:  This is yer shot, Terry.

Sky:  Not anymore!  Now it's Rick's shot!  You can kick his ass instead!  Go get him, Ricky!

There was an obviously fake glibbness in the way Sky talked.  He was mocking Clark, but it's not like Clark cared.

Clark:  Spoken like a good little boy.  How about it, Westerooni?

Bronco:  Well, it's all right by me.  And it's all right by Terry.  So how about you step in to the ring and I'll give you your answer.

Clark entered the ring.  Bronco threw the mic at him and then attacked!  Looks like we have a new match!
This was Bronco's match right from the get go.  Clark wasn't ready for the sudden attack, and Bronco certainly exploited it.  After prolonged assault of punches and kicks, Bronco started hitting some of the big moves.  Reverse neckbreaker.  Belly-to-belly.  Clark was getting pitched around the ring for about three minutes before he finally came back in a big way.
Bronco charged into the corner, where Clark was standing, and Bronco moved out of the way.  Bronco hit hard and Clark smacked him with a superkick right on the button!  Bronco spilled outside.
Terry Sky approached West Bronco and STARTED HELPING HIM UP!!!  The ref was watching this and didn't quite know what to do.  Clark smiled, figuring Terry had come to his senses.
Quickly, Terry tossed Bronco into the guardrail hard!  The ref got a great view of it all, and that was it in his eyes.  He called for the bell.

West Bronco defeated Rick Clark by disqualification in 0:04:38.

Rick Clark freaked!  Terry Sky had cost him the North American Title!  Clark began yelling at Sky, who turned around, shrugged his shoulders and asked "What?".
Bronco got off the guardrail and glared at Sky, who merely winked and said "Don't worry".  Bronco understood.  He took his title and went home.
Clark grabbed the microphone.  He was about to tell him what.

Clark:  Oh, you're one brave little moron, aren't you, Terry.  Did you forget who's in control here?  Me, old buddy.  I have your contract, you son of a bitch, and you do something like this to me?  Okay, here's the deal.  I'm a pretty understanding guy if I want to be.  This is strike one against you, Terry. Strike one.  Any more, and there's going to be trouble.  Now, you go to the back, get my bag ready, and I'll see you there.  No more screw ups, Sky.  Your job and your little apartment depend on it!

Sky gave a fake little salute and then marched to the back, military style.  If he had to be under Rick Clark's control, you can bet he'll make life tough for him.
That's it for this week.  Join us Monday where you'll see, among other great matches, Cody Simmons going for the Toughman Title against the Flying Scotsman and Overcompensators Anonymous facing off against the Air Raiders.  That at the least and a whole lot more on Massacre!!!
