Slam Masters:

Secrets

February 13th, 1999
From the America West Arena, Phoenix, Arizona

A sold out crowd comes to life as fireworks rock the America West Arena.  Tonight is a night of mystery.  A night of revelations.  A night of Secrets!
We'll see the Toughman Title and the TV Title defended in back to back matches as Toughman Champ The Flying Scotsman looks to avenge the injury caused to his friend, Hamish MacTavish, by the hated TV Champion, Kodiak Marmoset.
We'll see "Titan" Tim Redbury take on a man from his past, a man who has plagued him for the past few weeks, the Dark Brand.
Tag team position will be on the line as the team some wrestling experts are calling StB 2000, Ron Grayson and Cody Simmons, take on Steelworks.  Will Cody and Monica arrive on time tonight?  And can Andrew Marshall and Rod Emerson win one more match to get back on track?
Jerry Kent and West Bronco will do battle, but the man on display in this match will be special referee "Jumbo" Jack Flap.  Has Jumbo been calling matches for Bronco and against Simply the Best?  If he does tonight, we'll have our answer.
The mysterious feud between the Baki Mono and Oni promises to take another turn tonight, as Oni faces down Zuzanow.  We know Oni has someone, or something, watching his back.  Will we find out who tonight?
The War of the Super Powers continues.  Biff Slamkovich has a chance to end things in favour of the good guys.  All he has to do is get past Gunloc and his mystery partner in a handicap match.
The hate that started years ago, when Rick Clark's eye was destroyed along with the team of Highrise, will continue as the destitute but determined Terry Sky will take on Clark once more.  This time, Saul Masters is very obviously pulling the strings.
And, tonight, Jack Slade and Mike Haggar will team up for what they have stated will be the last time, all so they can learn the identity of the Sixth Member of Major Force.  Slade and Haggar will take on the World Tag Team Champions, Skarzz and Alexander "The Grater", and Saul Masters has somebody waiting in the wings.
It's going to be on crazy night.  Let's get to the action!!!

SMWA Toughman Title Bout
The Flying Scotsman (C)
vs
Kodiak Marmoset w/ Saul Masters

It's going to be a two match series for the Scottish Slugger and the Kodiak Express.  This whole thing started a few weeks ago, when Kodiak did a number on the Scotsman's tag team partner and long time friend, Hamish MacTavish.  Hamish is still wrestling with a bad knee as a result, so the Scotsman took it upon himself to right the score.  He challenged Kodiak to a TV Title match, but Kodiak wanted a little more gold for himself, as well.  Somehow, he managed to get a Toughman Title shot before the TV Title match.
    That's where he went wrong.
The Scotsman has destroyed everybody who has been put in front of him in these Toughman Matches.  It's rare for any wrestler to go past the first round with the Clubber from Cumbernauld.  In fact, most men go home with a severe headache after a first round TKO.

Kodiak came out first, Saul Masters at his side.  The chant of "Loser" started as soon as the crowds saw his face, and you could tell Kodiak wasn't too happy.
Kodiak's a scrapper, no doubt about it.  He spent some time living on the streets of Ottawa when he started his pro-career, and he's quite the brawler... for a Cruiserweight.  Recent matches against Mike Haggar have proved that Kodiak, as good as he is, can't brawl with a heavyweight fighter.  The Flying Scotsman weighs two hundred and seventy five pounds.
    This could get ugly.
The Scotsman came out next to quite a few cheers.  Highland Hell aren't popular, but Major Force is hated by pretty much everybody.  So, for tonight, The Scotsman would be a fan favourite.  He was going to milk it for all it was worth.
As the pipes and fiddles played in the background, the Scotsman came into the ring and started dancing up a storm.  He didn't seem too worried about the man standing across the ring from him.  Really, the Scotsman doesn't have to worry about most men in these matches.
The referee brought the two men into the center of the ring and gave the instructions.  No holds, only takedowns.  No kicks, knees or elbows, only punches.  When a man is down you get off and let him get back up.  Pretty simple.  Scots and Kodiak touched gloves.  The bell rang for round one.

Round 1
The Scotsman was a little cocky starting this thing off.  He walked right up to Kodiak and told him that he could land one punch.  Kodiak did.
THE SCOTSMAN WENT DOWN!!! THE FLYING SCOTSMAN HAD BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!!!  INCREDIBLE!!!
    1... 2...
    Oh.  He was back up.
Well, after that little bit of humiliation, Scooter was going to take this encounter serious.  Kodiak came at him, looking a bit too proud at what he had done, and ran right into a flurry of piston like punches from the Scotsman.  Kodiak found himself kissing mat.
    1... 2... 3... 4...
    Up.
Kodiak looked a bit dazed, but he was going to keep going.  He went at the Scotsman again, trying to hit a couple jabs.  The Scotsman side stepped and connected with an uppercut.  Kodiak went down one more time.
    1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7...
Kodiak struggles up to his feet.  This really wasn't going his way.  He went for a very feeble left hand, which left his jaw wide open.  The Scotsman connected with a big right hook.  Kodiak's head snapped back like a jack in the box.  He fell to the mat.  That was it.

Brawl For All:
The Flying Scotsman defeated Kodiak Marmoset via first-round technical knockout at the 00:49 mark.
(The Flying Scotsman retained the SMWA Toughman Championship.)

Saul Masters got into the ring and tended to his felled man.  One would wonder if Kodiak found this insulting later, but Masters was ready with a set of smelling salts.  He waved them under Kodiak's nose, and the TV Champion started to move.
Good thing.  He had to defend his title next.

SMWA Television Title Match
Kodiak Marmoset (C) w/ Saul Masters
vs
The Flying Scotsman

Saul Masters tried to barter with the ref as Kodiak used the ropes for support.  Masters tried to sell the ref on the fact that his man couldn't possibly defend his Title in a half-conscious state.  The ref wasn't too sympathetic.  Kodiak had agreed to this, and he was going to have to follow through on it.
The referee ordered Masters out of the ring and called for the bell to be rung!  Our TV Title match was underway!

Upon hearing the bell, Kodiak jumped out of the corner with a big right hand.  Problem was, the Scotsman was on the other side of the ring.  Kodiak still didn't have his feet about him just yet and he fell to the mat.
    This could be ugly.
The Scotsman, finding this all too funny, didn't even bother attacking Kodiak while he was down.  Instead, he let Kodiak struggle back to his feet, a humorous spectacle which took the better part of a minute.  Finally, when Kodiak did get up, he called for the Scotsman to come fight.  The Scotsman was more than happy to oblige.  He met Kodiak in the middle of the ring and nailed him with a jab.
Kodiak went down again.  He wasn't unconscious, but he sure was out on his feet.
Again, the Scotsman just waited for Kodiak to get back to his feet.  That took a while, as Kodiak kept on falling down.  Scots was laughing his ass off in the corner.  Finally, he went to help Kodiak out.  He grabbed him by the hair and lifted him to his feet.
Kodiak grabbed the Scotsman's head and took him down with a jawbreaker!  The move took its toll on Kodiak, too, but the Scotsman definitely felt it.  Kodiak mustered all of his energy and sent the Scotsman over the top rope with a lariat.  When the Scotsman got back up, Kodiak flattened him with a plancha.  He then pulled himself up and took the Scotsman into the ring steps.  Kodiak rolled himself back inside... and lay down on the mat, exasperated.
The Scotsman slowly struggled back to his feet and made his way into the ring.  Kodiak brought him in with a suplex and then went to his legs.  Kodiak, needing a rest, locked on a Ziplock, putting the Scotsman in pain and giving a groggy Kodiak some breathing room.  The Scotsman wasn't giving up, though.  Kodiak, a bit more rested up, released the hold and nailed the Scotsman with a few kicks to the ribs before dropping on him with a splash.  He got a two count.  Kodiak picked the Scotsman back up and nailed him with a few punches.
Almost instinctively, the Scotsman began to retaliate.  He unleashed a fury of chops to Kodiak's chest before taking him down with a dropkick.  Kodiak got up and received another dropkick.  Scots then picked Kodiak up and planted him near the turnbuckles with a Michinoku Driver!  The two hundred and seventy pounder then showed us his incredible flexibility, climbing to the top rope and crashing down on Kodiak with a split legged moonsault!  He went for the cover.

        2...
NO!!! Kodiak gets a shoulder up!
The Scotsman wasn't deterred.  He picked Kodiak up off the mat and nailed him with a vicious brain buster!  Once more, a cover.  Two.  The Scotsman then locked Kodiak in a Northern Lights suplex.  Another pinfall attempt.  Two count!
Scots went back to his brawling ways, but Kodiak was ready this time.  When the Scotsman went for a kick, Kodiak grabbed his leg and took him over with a cradle suplex.  Scotsman kicked out at two but then found himself locked in a kneebar.  Struggling, the Scotsman made it to the ropes, breaking the hold.  Kodiak tried to knock him down with a lariat.  The Scotsman ducked and caught Kodiak in a fireman's carry.  Quickly, he dropped Kodiak with a Death Valley Driver!!!  Cover.
    1...
        2...
THNO!!!  Kodiak barely gets a shoulder up.
The Scotsman picked Kodiak up for a power bomb, which Kodiak countered with a rana.  He went to the apron and then nailed a springboard rana.  A two count was all he could get.  Kodiak went to the apron again, but the Scotsman was ready.  He charged into Kodiak and Kodiak flew into the guardrail at ringside!
Scotsman went outside and tried to whip Kodiak into the ringpost.  Kodiak reversed the move and the Scotsman smacked into the post.  Kodiak followed up with a lariat and put the Scotsman back in the ring.  He whipped the Scotsman into the ropes.
The Scotsman came off with an Asai moonsault!!!  Cover!

        2...
            THRNO!!!  Kickout!!!
Scots dropped Kodiak with another brain buster and then ran off the ropes for a legdrop.  Kodiak rolled out of the way and the Scotsman hit the mat.  Kodiak grabbed the Scotsman's kilt and went for the cover.
    1...
        2...
            KICKOUT!!!
Saul Masters jumped onto the apron to protest the count.  Kodiak picked the Scotsman up, but Scots nailed him with a low blow.  The Scotsman went to the apron, grabbed the Scottish Flag, which he brings to all his matches, and clocked Kodiak in the head.  The ref turned around and made the count.
    1...
        2...
            THRENO!!!  KICKOUT!!!  AMAZING!!!
The Scotsman picked Kodiak up once more and put him on the top rope.  He snapped him off with a belly-to-belly suplex!!!
    1...
        2...
            NO!!! KICKOUT!!!
The Scotsman got up and waited for Kodiak to get to his feet.  Kodiak was moving slowly and the ref went to check on him.  The Scotsman was close to the ropes, and Saul Masters made his move.  He pulled an extendable police baton from his pocket and smashed it against the knee of the Scotsman.  The Scotsman went down hard!
Kodiak managed to get up.  He saw the Scotsman down and gave the signal for the Big V!!!  The Scotsman slowly got up and found Kodiak's foot against his jaw!  The Scotsman fell and Kodiak went for the cover.

(Kodiak Marmoset retained the SMWA Television Title.)

Somehow, Kodiak managed to survive the Scotsman's assault and retained his TV Title.  But he wasn't done.
Kodiak grabbed the Scotsman's legs and hooked on the Texas Clover Leaf!!!  Kodiak wouldn't release the hold, leaning back with all of his weight, waiting for the Scotsman's legs to snap.  Somebody had to do something.
The crowd began to cheer as somebody came to the ring.  It was the SMWA Commissioner, Jack McCullough.  He climbed into the ring and went to get Kodiak off of the Scotsman.  Masters tried to get in his way.
MCCULLOUGH SHOVED MASTERS TO THE MAT!!!  He then grabbed Kodiak by the hair and pulled him off of the Scotsman.  Masters got up and got right in McCullough's face!  He and Kodiak began to jaw with the Commissioner, who stood his ground.  If Major Force was going to pull a power play at the end of the night, McCullough was going to try and stop them every step of the way until then!
Kodiak looked ready to snap right there.  This is the second time that McCullough has manhandled him, and Kodiak was none too pleased.  Masters held Kodiak back.  Giving McCullough a death glare, Masters led a furious Kodiak from the ring.
Jack McCullough might just have crossed Major Force's threshold of tolerance on that one.  But he's letting them know that there is one man that runs this federation.  Him.

We went backstage, where Nick Jones was waiting with "Titan" Tim Redbury.

Jones: Well, whoever Saul Masters' Sixth Man is, I hope he's able to deal with Commissioner McCullough better than Masters is.  Fans, I'm here with "Titan" Tim Redbury who, in a few minutes, will be taking on this mysterious newcomer, The Dark Brand.  Titan, you've made your views very clear, that this Brand is, in fact, one Joseph McAllister, an old acting buddy of yours from back home.  Both the Brand and Joseph deny any connect, but it seems pretty obvious.

Titan:  Obvious is an understatement.  Joseph, you must thing you're Clark Kent or something, but I have news for you.  The only man you're fooling is yourself.  Go ahead and dress up like some sort of superhero.  If you want to give these people a show, I'll be more than happy to help.  You want to give them some classic theatre?  Tonight, we'll be showing them the Destruction of the Dark Brand, all in one act.  I'm done with your games, Joseph.  This ends here.

"Titan" Tim Redbury
vs
The Dark Brand

The mysterious Dark Brand has made a habit of attacking "Titan" Tim over the past few weeks.  To him, it's all part of a show, a build up to when they finally meet in the ring.  For the Brand, this is all just spectacle.
Well, if he tries to "play" with Titan, he could very well find himself getting the hook, in the form of a very big Claw Slam.

The Brand's heroic music started up first as the lights dimmed in the arena.  Brand slowly made his way to the ring, looking dapper and mysterious as ever in his trench coat and bowler.  The crowd booed the "hero" who has attacked Tim Redbury over the past few weeks.  The Brand chose not to notice.  He snuck his way into the ring and waited for Titan to come to the ring.
Titan's music cued up, and the Big Brit made his way to the ring.  It would be the Dark Brand, not Joseph McAllister, that he'd be facing off against tonight.  There'd be no Shakespeare, no monologues, no iambic pentameter.  This was going to be a fight.
As Titan was climbing over the top ropes, the Brand nailed him with a dropkick.  The bell rang, and our match was underway!

The Brand was all over Titan from the get go with quick elbows and kicks.  Titan took the shots, most of them having only a glancing effect, but he couldn't stop the Brand from hitting him.  The Brand was just too quick for Titan to get a hold on.  Finally, after about a minute of this assault, The Brand did the incredible.  He nailed Titan with a front kick to the midsection, hit a spin kick to the side of his head and then bounced off of the middle ropes, nailing Titan in the back of the head with an enzuigiri!  Titan's knees buckled and he fell to the mat!
The Dark Brand had just brawled Titan Tim down.  Men like Zangief and Doomsday have had troubles doing it, but the Brand did it like it was child's play.
Looking to put an end to things, the Brand grabbed Titan by the hair and took him to the turnbuckle.  He climbed up, hooked Titan's head and went for the Nightfall!!!
Titan wasn't done yet.  The Brand was tossed about nine feet into the air and landed very unceremoniously on his front.  Titan had the edge and pushed it as far as he could.  Looking to humiliate the Brand a bit, Titan resorted to several hard punches, boots to the head and the occasional toss to the mat.  He wasn't doing any major damage yet, but he was wearing the Brand down and letting him know that he wasn't going to be shown up again.  Titan hooked the Brand up for a Russian legsweep.
The Brand elbowed his way out and took Titan off of his feet with a vicious legsweep!!!  Titan got back up but, while on his knees, the Brand hit him with a leg lariat.  Titan fell back on his rump and the Brand took him back down to the mat with a clothesline!
The Dark Brand was dominating Titan Tim.  Titan couldn't use his size, couldn't use his strength and was being forced into a quick match against an opponent who more than certainly knew what he was doing.  This wasn't going to be easy.
The Brand bounced off the ropes and went at Titan with a high cross body.  Titan caught the Brand and pressed him high over his head with a Gorilla Press!!!  From what had to be eleven feet in the air, Titan dropped the Brand outside!  Just like that, the momentum was back in Titan's favour.  He climbed over the ropes and went to the outsdie.
Titan kept trying to hurt Brand, picking him up and beel throwing him into the guardrail.  Brand got up and then was sent over the guardrail by a big boot to the head.  The Brand slowly got up on the other side.  Titan hooked him up in a vertical suplex and brought him back into the ringside area.  Brand was then rolled back into the ring.
Titan continued to toss his smaller foe around.  He picked Brand up and heaved him into the corner.  Titan charged in with an avalanche.  The Brand moved and once again climbed up the buckles for the Nightfall.
This time, Titan held on to the Brand and dropped him onto the top rope in a very uncomfortable way.  As the Brand yelled in pain, Titan nailed him with a boot to the face and the Brand fell outside.
Brand got up using the guardrail outside.  Titan charged at him with an avalanche.  Brand moved and Titan crashed into the guardrail.  Another legsweep put Titan down.  Brand then jumped onto the guardrail and nailed Titan with an elbowdrop.  He picked Titan up and smashed him headfirst into the steel steps at ringside before putting him down with a dropkick from the apron.  The Brand the climbed up onto the apron.  As Titan lay on the ground, Brand leapt off the apron with a moonsault.
Titan sat up, and the Brand smacked hard on the floor.  Immediately, he grabbed his knee and began screaming in pain.  He had hit the ground pretty hard.
The referee immediately went to check on the felled Brand, who didn't seem able to stand up.  Titan stood back and watched.  He then came to a realization.
    The Brand was acting.
Titan blew by the ref and grabbed the Brand.  He rolled him into the ring, where the Brand continued to play hurt.  Titan lifted his hand into the air, giving the signal for the Claw Slam.  He grabbed the Brand by the face and lifted him up.
On his way up, the Brand kicked Titan below the belt!  As Titan released the Brand, the Brand wrapped his arm around Titan's head, gave a spin and hit a modified version of the Nightfall!!!  His knee working fine, the Brand made the cover.

The Dark Brand pinned Titan Tim Redbury with the Nightfall in 0:10:00.
Rating: **

What an upset!  The Dark Brand had not only beaten Titan Tim, but he worked his strategy to perfection to do it.
Overjoyed by the outcome, the Brand got up and looked at the crowd.  Breaking character, he acknowledged the booing crowd and gave them all a bow.  He was living it up in that ring.
Titan Tim wasn't exactly finished, though.  Unbeknownst to the Brand, he was getting up.  When he did, the first thing he did was turn the Brand around.  He made a grab at his face, going for the Claw Slam, but the Brand made it out of the ring.  All Titan ended up grabbing was the scarf that concealed the Brand's face!
The camera got a good look at the Brand.  Joseph McAllister, you have been revealed!
It took a second for the Brand to realize what had happened, but then he realized he was no longer disguised.  He covered his face ran back to the dressing room.
Titan had a trophy, but it was a trophy in a losing cause.  Still, you can bet that this is only the end of act one.  There's probably more to come.

Nick Jones was backstage, looking to get a few questions answered by Saul Masters.

Jones:  I'm here with Saul Masters.  Saul, you promised us tonight that you would reveal a Sixth Member of Major Force to the World.  Now, who's it going to be?

Masters: Are you an idiot?  Jones, the first two people to find out who the Sixth Member is will be Mike Haggar and Jack Slade.  The rest of you will just have to wait.  Jones, next time, if you'd like me to waste my time, just ask.

With that, Saul Masters left Jones standing alone in the back.  So much for that.
Next up, a little bit of tag team action.

Simply the Best (Grayson/Simmons) w/ Monica
vs
Steelworks

These teams have been going at each other ever since a double countout early in January.  Steelworks have had their share of troubles in the past few months, while Cody and Grayson have had a few minor miscommunications in the past few weeks, mostly due to some odd scheduling conflicts and late appearances by Cody and Monica.  Hopefully, both teams would be able to pull it together for a match tonight.

Steelworks came out first to a good crowd reaction.  These guys are a good team, but something just hasn't been clicking as of late, and the young, brash Marshall seems to be getting just a little bit upset with the whole situation.  Hopefully, a win tonight can turn things around for these two.
StB were coming out next.  The familiar "Asshole" theme kicked up, and we all waited for Grayson, Cody and Monica.
    And we waited....
    And waited...
    What was taking StB?
Our announcers got a message.  Apparently, something was happening in the back.  A cameraman was checking out the scene...

Ron Grayson had just whipped Cody Simmons into a wall!!!  WHAT!!!  Grayson then grabbed a pipe from the ground and took a swing at Cody!  Cody ducked and nailed Grayson with a low blow.  He hit him with a kneelift and then tossed him into some equipment backstage!  Cody grabbed a folding chair and took a swing at Grayson, who blocked the blow, took the chair and nailed Cody!
StB was fighting it out in the back!  Rick Clark and Jerry Kent stormed on in and separated the two, but not without some effort.  We could hear Grayson yelling "You lying bastard" and Cody yelling "It's not my fault."
    What was going on?
Well, the ref had to render a decision.

Simply the Best (Cody Simmons and Ron Grayson) versus Steelworks was called off when Grayson and Simmons did not show.

A fair decision, to be sure.
Marshall and Emerson looked a bit disappointed to not be wrestling, but it was soon forgotten.  Emerson left the ring and Marshall was right behind him as he NAILED EMERSON WITH A LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!!  ANDREW MARSHALL WAS BEATING THE HELL OUT OF ROD EMERSON!!!
Marshall grabbed Emerson and tossed him head first into the guardrail several times.  He then picked him up in position for the De-Facer!  Marshall nailed Emerson with the De-Facer on the concrete!!!  Marshall got up and looked at the crowd that was booing him.  Marshall had just stabbed his partner in the back and now he was leaving him for dead.
We had just seen the break-up of Steelworks.  What had we seen from StB?  With details, Nick Jones was backstage.

Jones:  Fans, I'm here with "The Rebel" Jerry Kent, who will be taking on West Bronco in just a few minutes.  Jerry, before I get to that, I have to ask you, what the hell just happened between Cody and Ron Grayson?

Kent:  What you just saw was none of your business, Jones.  We have a problem, we're going to deal with it, and when it's dealt with, it's done.  Now, tonight, West Bronco, you have a chance to push yourself higher than you've ever been before.  Your undefeated streak, your TV Title, neither of them mean nearly as much as one win over me.  You're good, kid, I'll give you that, but I have to wonder if a certain referee hasn't gone and made you just that much better.  You know exactly what I'm talking about.  Jumbo, all you have to do out there is call a fair match.  Nothing for Bronco, nothing against me.  You call it down the middle, our issue is done.  You mess around with me, and it's all on one more time.  And Simply the Best has more important things to deal with than a fat bastard like you.  So let's get down to it.

"The Rebel" Jerry Kent
vs
West Bronco
With Special Referee "Jumbo" Jack Flap

In spite of what "Jumbo" Jack Flap might claim, there is one simple truth.  Intentionally or not, a lot of his calls have gone in favour of West Bronco and many others have gone against Simply the Best.  Add to that the fact that Jumbo was once a father figure to Bronco and feuded with Jerry Kent years ago, and it looks like there's something afoot.
The stipulation on this one is simple.  Jumbo calls an even match, the issue is resolved.  If he doesn't, Jerry Kent gets a piece of him down the line.  Maybe West Bronco will want a little bit of that, too.

Jumbo came out first, and boy was he booed.  He claims he's just been doing his job, but neither Kent or Bronco have bought it.  Neither have the fans.  Add to that the fact that Bronco is an Arizona native and Jerry Kent and StB have a few fans everywhere, and you know why our referee was getting trashed.
Next came Jerry Kent.  He got booed worse than Jumbo.  Again, not hard to figure.  A lot of people like Kent and StB, but we're in Arizona.  Phoenix is West Bronco country, no doubt about it.  Still, Kent grabbed the mic at ringside and did his thing.

Kent:  I'd expect you people to boo me, and I don't care.  This is West Bronco's hometown, after all.  Go ahead.  Be biased.  But you, Jumbo.  I'll warn you one last time.  You do one little thing to mess up this match, you call it any other way but down the middle, and your fat ass gets dragged back into the ring.  You might be the referee, blubber boy, but you are definitely not Simply the Best!  So, on behalf of all of StB, this is Jerry Kent saying goodnight, God Bless and let the ass kicking commence!

Kent was booed handily.  He's going against one of the good old boys.
When Bronco's music started playing, the sold out America West Arena crowd burst into a thunderous ovation.  This was a homecoming for the Tombstone native, and he was loving every minute of it.  The entire crowd had showed up to see West Bronco do one thing.  Beat a former four time World Heavyweight Champion.  One man was going to try and stop him.
    Jerry Kent.
Kent and Bronco stood nose to nose in the middle of the ring as the crowd got louder.  Jumbo, in his first official move of the night, called for the bell.

Kent and Bronco first engaged in a few words in the middle of the ring.  Kent was quick to slap Bronco in the face.  If Bronco could beat Jerry Kent, he would officially be "over".  Thing is, Kent isn't the kind of guy who just lets that happen.  Ask Jack Slade.
Bronco responded to the slap by clobbering Kent with a punch to the head.  Kent went down, got up and the brawl was on.  These two both know how to use their fists, but Bronco had an entire State behind him tonight and, within seconds, Jerry Kent was cooling his heels on the outside.
Jumbo began his ten count.  It wasn't too fast, wasn't too slow.  It all seemed fair.  So far.
Kent got back into the ring and changed the face of the match.  He decided he'd try and make this a wrestling match.  He kept Bronco grounded with a few headlocks and armlocks, but Bronco eventually broke through, nailing Kent with a fallaway slam.  Bronco used a lariat to put Kent on his back again and then took him down with a double underhook suplex.  Bronco followed up with a bulldog and went for the pin.  Two count.  A fair count.
Bronco looked to slow things down and locked on an armbar.  Kent managed to make it to the ropes.  Jumbo ordered Bronco to let go and began his five count.  Bronco obliged.
So far, Jumbo has refereed a good match.
Kent got up and Bronco went at him with a lariat.  Kent ducked and sent Bronco over the top with a backdrop.  He followed Bronco outside.  Jumbo started his ten count.
Kent grabbed Bronco and whipped him into the guardrail and then bodyslammed him to the ground.

Kent heard Jumbo start in on the number ten and immediately confronted him, believing that he had just been counted out.  Jumbo explained to him that he hadn't and that the match would continue.  Kent argued with Jumbo for a few more seconds and then turned back to Bronco who NAILED him with DDT!  He picked Kent up one more time and went for a bridging back suplex.

Kent kept going.  He put Bronco down with a Russian legsweep and then locked on a reverse chinlock.  Bronco was fading in the hold and, within a minute, Jumbo was checking Bronco's arm.
    It fell once.
    It fell twice.
    It stayed up!!!
Bronco fought to his feet and broke the hold with a series of elbowsmashes.  He ran off the ropes and nailed Kent with a lariat.  He went for another, but Kent ducked and followed Bronco to the ropes with a knee to the midsection.  He then picked Bronco up and pinned him with a Fisherman suplex.  Jumbo made the count.

NO!!! Kickout!!! Barely.  Kent complained about the count, but it seemed fair.
Kent picked Bronco up and was flattened by a short lariat.  Bronco went to finish the match off and scooped Kent up for the Tombstone.  Kent fought his way out , but Bronco was still in control.  He took Kent down with a reverse neckbreaker and went for the cover.  Two count.  He picked him up and dropped him with a bodyslam and followed up with an elbowdrop.  Bronco made the cover again.  Two count.  He picked Kent up and whipped him to the ropes.  He went for a lariat, but Kent ducked, bounced off the ropes and both men went down as the result of a double clothesline!
Jumbo waited a few seconds before starting his ten count.

            Kent's up!  Bronco's up!
Both men got off of the mat and started brawling.  This one was getting out of control and there was going to be nothing fancy from here on in.  Kent got the advantage with an eye gouge, and that got Jumbo's attention.  Jumbo warned Kent, but Kent just brushed him off.  He wasn't going to worry about an eye gouge.
Kent levelled Bronco with a lariat and then picked him up.  He locked him in an abdominal stretch and was close to the ropes.  Kent reached back and used them for leverage.  Jumbo saw this and, instead of asking Kent to release, he kicked Kent's arm off of the ropes!!!
Kent released the hold and got right up in Jumbo's face.  Jumbo told him he couldn't grab the ropes.  Kent told him not to touch him.  Jumbo told him not to grab the ropes again, and if he did it again, Jumbo would do his job again.  Kent pushed Jumbo.  Jumbo didn't fight back.
West Bronco was on his feet.  He turned Kent around, picked him up and planted him with the Tombstone!  Jumbo made the count.

Match with Special Referee "Jumbo" Jack Flap:
West Bronco pinned Jerry Kent with the Tombstone in 0:15:16.
Rating: ** 3/4

West Bronco had just defeated Jerry Kent!!!  What an upset!!!
Bronco soaked in the cheers of the fans and celebrated in the ring!  Jumbo, his work done, walked to the back.  He had called a fair match, but what about that ending.  Kent was cheating, but should Jumbo have kicked him?
Kent got up, saw Bronco celebrating, and rolled outside the ring.  He made a line straight to the back.  Not tough to tell who he was looking for.

We went to a series of video clips concerning Oni and the Baki Mono.  We saw highlights of the encounters with Teioh, Raijin and Fujin, and the recent tag match where Naga rejoined the Baki Mono.  We also saw this mysterious blue flame appear time and time again, saving Oni from several attacks.  References to the "defender" and this other realm.
If any answers were forthcoming, they'd be coming next.

"The Great Light" Oni
vs
"The Storm Warrior" Zuzanow

Even with some of the explanations offered by Oni and the Baki Mono, this has still been hard to follow.  However, there is one thing that has been proved.  Teioh, Raijin and Fujin have all proven to be phenomenal athletes, mixing speed, power and technique in perfect packages.  Oni has had his work cut out for him, but he continues to pull through.
Still, from what we can tell, Zuzanow seems to be a step above Teioh and the Dark Storm.  As his name says "The Storm Warrior".  It's likely he exhibits the tendencies of all three of his compatriots.
We were in for a great battle.

Zuzanow came out first as our arena darkened.  There were rumblings of thunder and a wind came from nowhere.  Leading Zuzanow to the ring were Teioh, Raijin and Fujin, along with Iznami.  He had all of his compatriots of the storm behind him.  Oni would be fighting five people, in all likelihood.  But what about his mysterious backup?
Oni came out next, breaking the darkness with a blinding flash of light.  Kongo staff at the ready, Oni made his way into the ring, keeping a wary eye on Zuzanow's cornermen.  Oni climbed into the ring and the Kongo staff shortened to fit on an armpiece.  He turned to face Zuzanow.  Both men assumed a fighting stance.  They were ready.
    The bell rang.

We expected another prolonged martial arts battle, but we were wrong.  Oni went for a high roundhouse kick, but Zuzanow ducked and caught Oni with a vicious backdrop driver!  Not wanting to waste any time, Zuzanow immediately locked on a Dragon sleeper!!!
Oni knew he didn't have a lot of time to get out of this hold before the effects set in.  Quickly, he made it to his feet and managed to flip over Zuzanow.  Oni locked on a sleeper of his own!  Zuzanow fought his way free with a series of elbows, but then Oni was able to stagger him with a Cyclone kick!  Oni bounced off the ropes with a flying clothesline and then used a German suplex to try and get a quick victory.  Zuzanow had no trouble getting out.  Oni went for another kick, but Zuzanow blocked and managed to lock Oni in a nerve hold!
Again, Oni knew time was of the essence.  But Zuzanow had this one locked on good.  Oni slowly started to wilt under the pressure.  As Oni began to slump to the mat, he quickly regained some energy and delivered a chop right into Zuzanow's ankle!  The blow hurt Zuzanow enough for him to let go.
Oni began with an assault of kicks and chops.  Zuzanow responded in kind and, for about fourty seconds, we had a real battle going.  Zuzanow gained the advantage with a series of quick kicks.  He attempted a Frankensteiner.  Oni blocked the move and sent Zuzanow over the top ropes with a power bomb!  Oni then bounced off of the ropes and, as Zuzanow got up, Oni flattened him with a tope!
Oni was ready this time out and was taking it right to the Baki Mono member.  He proceeded to nail Zuzanow with a series of kicks to the back before being approached by Teioh.  Teioh was floored by a big chop to the throat.  Raijin approached and was blown back by a front thrust kick, while Fujin was nailed by a spinning back fist!!!  Oni was cleaning house!  He rolled Zuzanow back into the ring and climbed to the top rope.
Zuzanow sprang to his feet and nailed Oni in the legs with a spinning thrust kick.  Oni fell off of the top ropes and hit the mat hard!  Zuzanow climbed to the top rope, waited for Oni to regain his feet and flew off the top with a flying DDT!!!  Oni's head smacked the mat and Zuzanow went for a cover.

            NO!!! Shoulder!!!
Zuzanow picked Oni up for another move... and Oni blew a golden mist into his eyes!!!  The ref wasn't about to call for the disqualification - who would? - and he let it continue.  Oni dropped Zuzanow with a bodyslam and then climbed up to the top rope to deliver a moonsault!
Zuzanow wasn't done yet, though.  He got up to his feet and followed Oni to the top.  Zuzanow grabbed Oni by the waist and took him off the top with a big German suplex!  Oni nearly folded in half as he hit the mat.  Zuzanow went for the cover.

            NO!!! KICKOUT!!!
Zuzanow again picked up Oni, but Oni again wouldn't let him get any sort of advantage.  He kicked Zuzanow in the groin, backed off and then delivered a vicious kick right to Zuzanow's face.  Zuzanow fell to the mat and Oni went up top.  Oni came off and floored Zuzanow with a flying dropkick!  Oni then raised his hand and the Kongo staff returned to it's normal size.  It was time.
Oni pointed the staff at Zuzanow and a blinding ray of light went right into Zuzanow's face!  Oni reduced the size of the Kongo once more and then nailed Zuzanow with the Neck Wrecker.  Quickly, he went for the pin.

Before Oni could get out of the ring, The Baki Mono mobbed him and began to beat him down.  The lights in the arena went dim and we heard a war gong go in the background.
From the back came Zists and Naga Yajito.  Behind them was the seven foot samurai warrior, Amatsu Mikaboshi!  Oni had no place to go, and he was about to meet the personification of evil!
Oni tried to fight off the rest of the Baki Mono, but the numbers were too great.  As Raijin and Fujin held him down, Teioh proceeded to kick Oni in the head several times.  Finally, Fujin and Raijin lifted Oni up.  Each man had an arm and they held a half conscious Oni open as Amatsu climbed into the ring.
Oni saw Amatsu and struggled to get free.  He knew what might happen if he had to face Amatsu at this point.  He would have failed this "defender" of his.  Zists and Iznami would have won!
Amatsu reached for something on his back... a massive Samurai sword!  He lifted it over his head, prepared to land a final blow.
And, suddenly, three lines of blue fire erupted on Amatsu's chest!  Amatsu reeled back in shock and pain!  Then, on the backs of Raijin and Fujin, three similar lines appeared.  Oni had been saved once more.
    Wait a second...
Those lines...  They look like... The look like CLAW MARKS!!!
No.  It couldn't be him.  IT COULDN'T BE HIM!!!
A blue flame erupted through the mat.  From it rose a familiar looking figure.  As the flames cleared, we saw a man we hadn't seen in years!
    NIGHTCLAW!!!
NightClaw, the man who years ago feuded with Oni, was now saving him!  WIth Oni's help, NightClaw used his martial arts skills to fend off the Baki Mono!  Still, the Baki Mono weren't leaving.  Amatsu, his chest still on fire, kept on coming.  Finally, Oni and NightClaw found themselves back to back in the ring.  NightClaw tossed something into the air.  A veil of blue smoke appeared over Oni and NightClaw.  The blue flames errupted from the ring once more and, just like that, Oni and NightClaw were gone!
NightClaw!  The SMWA's original mystic.  But the last time we saw him, NightClaw had virtually been destroyed by Oni, left broken and beaten in the ring after a vicious, bloody beating with a quarter staff.  Now, NightClaw was helping Oni?
And the costume was different, too.  More streamlined, with blue tiger stripes as opposed to the old dark orange on black.  Was this the original NightClaw?  Or was it somebody else?
Again, as this feud uncovers more answers, it also asks more questions.  We are once again left hoping that, somehow, this will be explained.
NightClaw, in one form or another, has returned to the SMWA.  With Oni at his side, the Baki Mono could be in more trouble than we had previously thought.

Next up, what could possibly be the final battle in the War of the Super Powers.  Biff Slamkovich, now alone, will face off against Gunloc and his mystery partner as Chad Hillsman looks on.  After the despicable acts perpetrated at New Year's Smash, Biff Slamkovich has every reason to want to end this war.  But can he do it against two men?
Biff Slamkovich was backstage with Nick Jones.

Jones:  Biff Slamkovich, you're about to face down two men in that ring in the hopes of ending this war of the Super Powers.  One man is an unknown.  The other man used to be your friends.  Gunloc has promised that, if you win tonight, it's over.  What's going through your head right now?

Biff:  Jones, I look back at all zeze months, and it makes my stomach turn.  What you did to me, Gunloc, when you stabbed me in the back.  What you and Hillzman did to Zangief at New Year's Smash.  The fact that you can't face me down man to man, zat you have to get a surprise partner to finish me off.  Well, Gunloc, I'm not in ze mood to be finished off.  I don't care who you've brought on your side.  Tonight's not about winning.  It's about revenge.  I will have mine.  As Zangief used to say, Das Videnias.

The War of the Super Powers: Against All Odds
Biff Slamkovich
vs
Gunloc and ??? w/ Chad Hillsman

If Biff can win, Gunloc has promised to end this war.  Biff might be looking to end it off anyway, win, lose or draw.  Tonight, Biff's not stepping into a ring.  He's a weary soldier stepping on the battlefield, looking to finish off a war.
First, he had to find out who he was facing off against.

Gunloc and Chad Hillsman made their way down to the ring.  Chad will be simply and observer tonight, as the restrictions placed on him during the Zangief feud haven't been lifted.  Chad Hillsman can't attack anybody outside of a wrestling match in which he is a participant.  It's that simple.
Gunloc grabbed the microphone from ringside.  We were about to learn who his partner would be.

Gunloc:  Biff, this is it for you.  It's the end of your world.  The final battle.  I'm not going to leave you in suspense any longer.  Who better to end a war than my very own Agent of the Apocalypse!!!

******** KABOOM ********
******** Cue Doomsday's Music ********

DOOMSDAY!!! Gunloc has hired Doomsday to be his tag team partner!!!  Biff has to get past Chad Hillsman and Doomsday in one match!  How on earth can any man do that!!!
Biff Slamkovich made his way down to the ring.  He took a quick second to survey the situation and then sprinted to the ring!  He ducked a Gunloc clothesline and knocked Gunloc over the top rope with a superkick.  The bell rang...

Biff turned around and received a lariat from Doomsday.  The Big Green Monster was being paid to help eliminate Biff.  We've seen Doomsday work in the past.  We know he doesn't like to take his time.  Doomsday dropped all of his four hundred pounds on top of Biff with a senton and then proceeded to drop a few elbows on Slamkovich.  With Biff softened up, Doomsday made the tag to Gunloc.
Gunloc went for a quick kill on his former tag team partner, hooking him up in a Fisherman's suplex.  Not even a two count.  Gunloc picked Biff up and received a fist to the midsection.  Biff brawled his way to his feet and, within seconds, the Super Powers were going at it tooth and nail.  Biff got the edge, rocking Gunloc with a series of hard rights.  He then jumped up and floored Gunloc with a leg lariat.  Biff went up top and delivered a Tomahawk chop.  He then whipped Gunloc to the ropes and splattered him with the Sonic fists.  A woozy Gunloc fell towards Slamkovich, who picked him up and planted him with a Tombstone.  For good measure, Biff ran to Gunloc's corner and nailed Doomsday with a charging elbowsmash!  Gunloc got up to his feet and was taken down with his own finisher, THE GUT CRUSH!!!  Biff went for the pin.

Doomsday breaks the pin!!!  Biff got up, looked at Doomsday as the ref took him from the ring and went right back to work.  He picked Gunloc up and held him high in the air with a vertical suplex.  For a good fifteen seconds, Gunloc was upside down and six feet in the air.  Biff finally fell back and Gunloc hit the mat with a massive thud.  Biff took the opportunity to go up top.  Gunloc was slowly getting to his feet.  Biff took him down with a flying cross body press.  Cover.

DOOMSDAY PULLS BIFF OFF OF GUNLOC!!!  He kicked Biff in the stomach, lifted him up and then planted him with a spinning power bomb!!!  Doomsday left the ring, but the damage was down.  Biff Slamkovich's offensive flurry had ended.
Gunloc got up and picked Biff up over his head in a modified Gorilla press.  After Biff hit the ground, Gunloc quickly followed up with a Tiger suplex for a two count.  He then whipped Gunloc into his corner and nailed him with his own Sonic Fist flurry.  Then, the tag was made.
Doomsday came into the ring and began choking Biff in the corner.  The referee ordered the break.  Doomsday whipped Biff into the other corner and followed him in with a massive avalanche.  Before Biff could even fall to the mat, Doomsday ran in with another one.  And another one.  He then picked Biff up and put him on the top rope.  He grabbed him by the throat and planted him with the Death from Above!!!
No cover.  Instead, he tagged in to Gunloc, who proceeded to beat the tar out of Gunloc with a series of kicks.
It became very obvious at this point.  Gunloc wasn't paying Doomsday to help him beat Biff.  This was a plan to destroy Biff Slamkovich.
Gunloc nailed Biff with a piledriver and then tagged out to Doomsday.  Doomsday picked Biff up with a Gorilla press and dropped him to the mat.  Doomsday then signalled he was going to the top.  Doomsday was going to splatter Biff with a flying senton.
Doomsday came off the top rope and connected.  With the mat!!!  Biff and a stunned Doomsday both got to their feet.  Doomsday approached Biff but was brushed back by a leg lariat.  Doomsday came at Biff again.  This time, Biff nailed Doomsday with a dropkick.  Finally, Doomsday managed to catch one of Biff's legs.  Biff turned a kick into an enzuigiri, taking Doomsday off of his feet.
Biff ran into the ropes and went to nail Doomsday with a lariat.  Doomsday absorbed the blow and grabbed Biff by the throat.  He picked him up and planted him with a choke slam.  A dazed Slamkovich rolled outside the ring.  Gunloc was right on him, nailing him with a series of kicks.  Doomsday came out soon after, and a massive double team ensued on the outside.  Gunloc and Doomsday ignored the warnings of the referee as they thrashed Biff about ringside.  Finally, the ref went outside the ring and ordered both men into the ring.
Biff lay outside in major pain.  He looked up and saw Chad Hillsman, smiling smugly at him.  It was as if Hillsman was begging Biff to lose it.
    He didn't have to beg.
Biff struggled to his feet and staggered backwards, falling near the announcers table.  Biff was through playing this on Gunloc's terms.  It was time to do things his way.
Gunloc grabbed our timekeeper and tossed him out of his chair as Gunloc and Doomsday gloated in the ring.  Biff grabbed the chair and got it ready.  Gunloc and Doomsday wouldn't be gloating long.
Biff snuck around the ring, looking to sneak up behind Gunloc.  He stormed into the ring with the chair and clocked Gunloc in the back of the head!  Doomsday went for a punch, but Biff nailed his fist with the chair.  We heard a sickening crunch and Doomsday grabbed his hand.  Biff lifted the chair over his head and smashed it down on top of Doomsday.  The referee called for the bell.  Biff took a swing at him, too, but missed.

Handicap-Match:
Gunloc and Doomsday defeated Biff Slamkovich when Doomsday defeated Biff by disqualification in 0:09:33.
Rating: * 3/4

Doomsday was down on one knee.  Biff nailed him in the side of the head with a vicious chair shot.  Doomsday wasn't going down.  But he had shown signs of weakness, and Biff was going to capitalize on that.  He took the chair and once more slammed it into Doomsday's hand, and the Green Monster recoiled in obvious pain.
Chad Hillsman climbed into the ring to a chorus of boos.  He went to help his tag team partner out of the ring, but he didn't do it quickly enough.  Biff saw him.  Quickly, Biff took his chair and smacked Hillsman in the head, knocking him to the mat.  Doomsday made one last attack, but Biff used the chair once again, smacking Doomsday in the arm, sending more pain into his fist.  Doomsday dropped to his knees, clutching his injured hands.
Biff dropped the chair in the ring and exited the ring.  He grabbed the microphone and, as he walked to the back, gave Gunloc one final message.

Biff:  My rules, Gunloc!  My rules!

Biff Slamkovich went to the back.  He had just laid out both of the All-Americans and it looked like he had injured Doomsday.  Biff Slamkovich had injured Doomsday!  Wow!
Every time we think this war is going to end, it just gets more and more violent.  When this thing ends, there isn't going to be a single man standing.

Backstage, Nick Jones had "Tricky" Rick Clark ready for an interview.

Jones:  I'm hoping Biff Slamkovich doesn't come back here.  I'm with "Tricky" Rick Clark, who will be taking on Terry Sky in just a few moments.  Now, Rick, it's been made clear to us over the past week that, according to Saul Masters, Terry Sky is Simply the Best's problem.  However, after tonight, with the brawl between Cody and Grayson and the Jerry Kent - Jack Flap situation, it looks like it's going to be your job to stop Terry Sky.

Clark:  You know, Jones, how about you just mind your own damn business instead of shooting your mouth off to me.  Cody and Grayson, Kent, none of those things are any of your business.  You're supposed to ask me questions about my match.

Jones:  Okay, Rick.  With Ron Grayson and Cody Simmons trying to kill each other, Jerry Kent having problems with Jumbo and probably serving as a referee for Grayson and Cody right now, and Monica nowhere to be seen, wouldn't you agree that it's going to be up to you and only you to keep Terry Sky away from Saul Masters and Major Force and, if you fail, it's going to come down on your head?

Clark:  ... Shut up, yahoo.  I've got better things to do.

Rick Clark stormed away from Nick Jones, who was beaming a huge smile.

Jones:  Well, John and Tony, you guys just witnessed history.  You just saw me fluster Rick Clark, and not the other way around.  Back to you guys.

Terry Sky
vs
"Tricky" Rick Clark

Every time these two men have met, it has been a classic.  At first, it was Clark trying to get revenge for Sky blinding him in one eye.  Now, it's Sky trying to get to the man who he believes stole his money.  And he has to get through Clark to do it.
One thing is for certain.  Whenever these two fight, it's never for anything but the highest stakes.

Rick Clark came to the ring first, looking pissed as hell.  This has not been a good night for StB, with Grayson and Cody coming to blows and Jerry Kent getting "screwed" by Jumbo.  Clark was on his way to get a little something back for his team.
In the ring, Clark was on the mic.

Clark:  You've caught me on a bad night!  All I got for you is this.  Yadda yadda yadda, three rhymes, three letters, S! t! B!, get your ass out here, Terry Sky!  I'm finishing you off tonight!

No funny jokes from Clark tonight.  He's got one thing on his mind.
We heard the sounds of police sirens echoing through the arena, and then a gritty rock beat blared over the arena sound system.  Terry Sky had a theme song.
Sky walked into the arena to numerous cheers.  Ol' Hardknocks took a second to soak it all in before he turned to the ring.  He saw Clark in the middle and rushed on it.  The two began exchanging blows as the bell rang.

Clark and Sky tore into each other with reckless abandon.  One man has been harassed by Saul Masters to keep the other at bay.  That other man has been robbed of his fortune.  Under those circumstances, it wasn't hard to tell who would come out on top in this early brawl.
The hungry Sky kept at his assault, knocking Clark outside the ring.  Once there, Clark was tossed to the rails, the ringposts, the ring steps and everywhere in between.   Sky is a technical master, but he had that edge to him tonight.  He wasn't going to wrestle with the man who was keeping him from his goal.
Sky rolled Clark back inside and backed him down in a corner.  He began to lay kick after kick into Clark's ribs.  The ref told Sky to back off, but Terry wasn't listening to any of it.  Finally, the ref grabbed Sky and got him off his former partner.  Sky threatened the referee, but he didn't act on it.  He wanted Clark beaten, not the ref.
Clark started to stand up in the corner as Sky went back to work.  Before he could anything else, Clark kicked him right in between the legs.  Sky went down in a heap and Clark took control.  After a few punches and kicks, he picked Sky up and took him down with a belly-to-belly suplex.  Clark took in a couple of boos from the Arizona crowd, taking time to jaw with them, before picking Sky up for a bodyslam.  Sky floated over and then planted Clark with a DDT!!!  He picked up Clark and flattened him with a legsweep faceslam before locking on a kneebar.  Sky pulled with all of his might, trying to snap Clark's leg off.  Somehow, Clark managed to reverse the hold and catch Sky in a leglock of his own.  Almost instinctively, these two seemed to forget they hated each other and began a splendid display of mat wrestling.  However, it ended quite quickly when Clark nailed Sky with a flying forearm after being tossed into the ropes.
Clark continued a methodical offence, taking Sky down with a flying clothesline and then snapping him with a reverse neckbreaker.  Clark obviously hates Sky, but he was in a calmer mindset going in to this match.  Sky would probably be reckless.  Clark would take his time and let Sky do himself in.
Sky managed to fight back with a series of punches and then charged at Clark.  Clark dumped him over the top ropes with a backdrop.  He was quickly back in control.
Clark went outside and tossed Sky onto the announcers table.  He stood up, picked Sky up, lifted him into vertical suplex position and DROPPED HIM WITH THE SKY-DRIVER!!!
Sky wasn't moving on the ground.  Clark was a little sore getting up, but he definitely got the better of that.  The referee, worried, ran outside to check on an unconscious Terry Sky.
The ref kept Clark away from Sky as he checked to make sure he wasn't out.  Sky was out, no doubt about it. Clark didn't want to wait for the ref to "diagnose" the situation.  He picked Sky up and dragged him away from the wreckage of the table.  Sky was completely limp as Clark tried to toss him into the ring.  Sky just slumped on the apron.  Clark picked him up again, but Sky fell again.  Finally, Clark made one last attempt.
Sky came to life and pushed Clark right into the ringpost!  Clark bounced off the steel and backed up.  Sky nailed him with a spinning leg lariat to the back and Clark hit the ringpost once more!  Sky got up and tossed Clark inside.  He nailed him with a bodyslam and went up top.  Moonsault!!!

            NO!!! KICKOUT!!!
That was the last fancy move we saw from Sky for the time being.  He picked Clark up and slammed him in the corner, hooking his leg under the top rope, effectively hanging Clark upside down.  Clark proceeded to stop Clark in the stomach several times, with Tricky Rick unable to defend himself.  Sky finally backed off... only to charge in to the corner with a knee to the stomach.  The force of the move got Sky off of that top rope.  Clark proceeded to get his butt kicked for the next few minutes, then Sky climbed up on the top ropes.
Clark met him up top.  He knocked Sky onto the buckles and dropped him with a superplex!!!  Quickly, he went for a pin.  Two count.  Looking to get a bit of his own air back and take some more out of Sky with an abdominal stretch.  Sky struggled to get out, but Clark was borrowing a page from Jerry Kent's book, using the top rope to brace himself.  Fortunately, Jumbo Jack Flap wasn't' at ringside, or Clark could have been in trouble.  Finally, though, Sky managed to reverse the hold.  He made a grab at the ropes, too, but eventually got tired of the hold, broke it and nailed Clark with a bulldog!  Sky picked Clark up and planted him with a Northern Lights Suplex.  Cover.

    Cover.  Two count!!!
Sky ran into the ropes but caught a stiff knee from Clark.  Clark picked Sky up and then locked him in an octopus hold.  He tried to force Sky to the mat, making the pain of the hold more and more intense.  Sky seemed to be blacking out.  The referee checked his arm.
    One fall.
    Two falls.
Clark lets go of the hold!  A half conscious Sky slumped to the mat as Clark went to the second turnbuckle to deliver a flying elbowdrop.
Sky moved and Clark hit the mat hard.  Sky picked Clark up and hit him with a big back suplex.  Both men were stunned by the move, and both men managed to slowly get up.
Clark punched Sky.  Sky punched Clark.  The wrestling was ending.  The fight was starting up again.  Clark and Sky were trying to beat the hell out of each other, and they were doing a good job.  Clark got the edge with some big rights.  He bounced Sky off the ropes with one punch, but as Sky bounced off, he nailed Clark with a superkick!!!  Sky gave the signal!  Lights Out time!!!
Sky picked Clark up in bodyslam position.  He dropped him on his head!  Lights Out!!! Sky went for the cover.

THE REF SEES CLARK'S FEET!!!  Clark thought he had the match and got up to celebrate.  The ref told him that he didn't have it.  Not the right time for a referee to tell an StB member that he hadn't won a match!
Terry Sky reached into his pocket and grabbed something.  He put it on his hand.  It looked like a pair of brass knucks!  Clark didn't know!
Sky staggered to his feet, pretending to be hurt.  Clark went at him with a superkick.  Sky ducked and clobbered Clark with the knucks!  He went for the pin!!!

Terry Sky pinned Rick Clark after hitting him with brass knuckles in 0:19:45.
Rating: ****

Terry Sky had just defeated Rick Clark.  He stood up and looked to the back.
Ron Grayson and Cody Simmons had beaten the crap out of each other earlier in the night.  A pissed off Jerry Kent was likely playing referee to those two.  Rick Clark was unconscious in the ring....
Terry Sky jumped out of the ring and ran for the back.  It didn't take much to figure out who he was looking for.  We were minutes away from our main event, and Terry Sky was intent on putting a major hurt on Major Force!!!
A cameraman caught Sky running around in the back.  He was calling for Master and company, asking where they were.  Wherever they were, Sky was going to find them.
Finally, Sky came upon a dressing room.  It was the Major Force dressing room!  The door was open!!!  Sky, not even thinking, ran right in!
    Nobody was in there?
Sky made his way out of the dressing room... and was clobbered in the face by Ghost, with what looked like a steel pipe!  Sky fell to the ground in a heap, obviously unconscious.  The rest of Major Force surrounded Ghost and stood over the felled Sky.

Masters:  He can rot here for all I care.  We have a match.

A series of clips were shown, setting up our Main Event.  We went over what we already knew.  Haggar and Slade no longer trust each other.  Saul Masters is baiting them with this Sixth Member.  This entire situation is about to explode.
Nick Jones was backstage with Mike Haggar and Jack Slade.

Jones:  Fans, we were supposed to have Mike Haggar and Jack Slade here for an interview.  However, just minutes ago, each man backed out, each man citing he had "nothing to say". As far as I could tell, there was some major tension in both their voices.  Neither of this pair of former best friends trusts the other enough to be interviewed side by side.  So that begs one question.  How are they going to get along as tag team partners tonight?  Let's go to the ring.

Secrets Main Event
Mike Haggar and Jack Slade w/ Jessica Haggar
vs
Major Force (Grater/Skarzz) w/ Saul Masters

******** Cue Ring Announcer ********

RA: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is our MAIN EVENT!!! It is a non-title tag team grudge match and it is scheduled for one fall.

******** Cue Major Force's Music ********

RA:  First... Being led to the ring by Saul Masters, Kodiak Marmoset and Ghost.... Representing Major Force... Weighing in at a combined weight of seven hundred and ten pounds... The SMWA World Tag Team Champions... ALEXANDER "THE GRATER" AND SKARZZ!!!

Amidst a torrent of boos, Saul Masters led ALL of his troops to the ring.  Everybody except for the Sixth Member!!!  Was Masters just pulling our of our legs?  Or was he keeping the Sixth Member in check, waiting until the perfect time to unveil him?
As soon as Major Force made it to the ring, the referee confronted Masters.  He pointed to Ghost, pointed to Kodiak, and pointed to the back.  The message was clear.  Ghost and Kodiak were not going to be permitted at ringside!  Kodiak protested, but Masters interjected.  Calmly, he told the two to go to the back and wait.  There was no need for everybody to be there.
Grudgingly, Kodiak Marmoset and Ghost made their way to the back.  Masters asked for a ringside mic and delivered a chilling message.

Masters:  Haggar!  Slade!  Don't expect me to play my hand until you both are out here.

Obviously, Masters was playing to the paranoia.  How eager would Haggar or Slade be to come out while the idea that his tag team partner could be the man who betrays him?

******** Cue Mike Haggar's Music ********

RA:  Their opponents... First.... Being led to the ring by his daughter, Jessica... From New York City... Weighing in at three hundred and eight pounds.... The Five Time Former SMWA Heavyweight Champion of the World... MIKE HAGGAR!!!

The arena exploded into cheers for Mike Haggar, but a few fans remained silent.  If Haggar was going to be the man to turn, nobody wanted to be the guy who cheered him.
Haggar stopped just short of the ring.  He wasn't going to get in the ring until his partner showed up.  With that in mind, Mike Haggar and Jessica turned and faced the back, waiting for the World Champion.

******** Cue Jack Slade's Music ********

RA:  HIs tag team partner hails from Detroit, Michigan... He weighs in at two hundred and fourty one pounds... He is the SMWA Heavyweight Champion of the World!!!  "THE CRUNCHER!!!"  JACK SLADE!!!

Slade got another big ovation.  As soon as he entered the arena, he noticed Haggar and Major Force all staring him down.  Not wanting to walk into a trap, Slade slowly walked towards the ring.
From behind, Grater jumped off the apron and nailed Haggar with an axhandle!  He rolled Haggar into the ring and, with Skarzz, began stomping the legend into the mat as the bell rang!

Slade stopped dead in his tracks.  He watched as Haggar was beat down in the ring!  What was Slade doing?!?!  Why wasn't he going to the ring???
Slade slowly started to walk towards the ring, a cold look on his face.  He climbed into the ring and paused for a second, surveying the situation.  What was he doing???
Slade ran towards Skarzz and Grater!!! He leapt into the air and jumped onto Skarzz, punching him repeatedly in the head!!!
Maybe Slade thought it was a trap.  Maybe he is the Sixth Member.  Either way, he was trying to beat the crap out of Skarzz.  Skarzz and Slade made it near the ropes.  Slade let go and dumped Skarzz over the top.  He followed him out and tried to brawl with the monster.  The move was ill-advised.  Skarzz grabbed Slade and rammed him into the guardrail.
In the meantime, Grater continued to work over Haggar.  He knocked him over the top rope and then climbed onto the apron.  Only a minute into the match, Grater jumped onto Haggar with an Asai moonsault!!! Major Force were in firm control.
Grater picked Haggar up and whipped him into the ringpost.  A hurting Haggar reversed the move and sent Grater into the post!!! Grater hit hard and Haggar then grabbed him by the head, repeatedly banging his head into the steel steps.  After four smashes, Haggar grabbed Grater and took him into the ring.
On the other side, Jack Slade was being schooled by Skarzz.  Skarzz nailed Slade with a boot to the head and then proceeded to his own corner, ready for Grater when he wanted to tag.
Haggar went for a lariat on Grater, but Grater ducked.  Grater quickly grabbed the three hundred pound Haggar, lifted him over his head and dropped him.  He made a tag to Skarzz, who repeated the move.  Only difference was that Skarzz held Haggar over his head for a LOT longer before dropping him to the floor... right on top of a recovering Slade!!!
Haggar and Slade got up on the outside, but before they could even argue, Skarzz and Grater were all over them.  Skarzz tossed Haggar back into the ring as Grater tossed Slade over the guardrail, again taking him out of the picture.
Skarzz picked Haggar up and hit a big side suplex.  He then grabbed Haggar by the throat and began choking the legend, trying to take him down early in the match.  The ref warned Skarzz to let go.  Brave guy.  Eventually, Skarzz released the chokehold and tagged out to Grater.
Grater was all over Haggar with a series of elbowdrops.  He picked Mike up and hit a big power bomb.  Grater then went up top and showed us all his athleticism once more, delivering a big moonsault.  He went for the cover.  Two count.
Grater picked Haggar up and whipped him into a turnbuckle.  Haggar came out and nailed Grater with a running lariat.  Grater got up and was bodyslammed by Haggar, who then dropped a big leg on Grater.  He went for the pin and didn't even get a one count.  Haggar grabbed Grater and took him to his corner.  For the first time this match - or in a long time - Mike Haggar tagged out to Jack Slade!
Slade came in and nailed Grater with a few dropkicks and some stiff kicks to the leg.  Haggar was tagged back in.  The two TEAMED UP and whipped Grater into the ropes.  They joined hands and nailed him with a double clothesline.  When Grater got to his feet, Haggar and Slade used a double dropkick and Grater went down.  Slade was tagged back in as Haggar held Grater open for a few shots to the ribs.
Haggar and Slade working together.  That was interesting.
Slade used a few rights on Grater before whipping him to the ropes.  Grater reversed and nailed Slade with a spinebuster slam.  Grater tagged out to Skarzz, who immediately locked his hand around Jack Slade's throat for a choke slam.  Slade kicked Skarzz in the yaboos.  There would be no choke slam tonight.  Slade ran behind a stunned Skarzz and hit him with the Concussion Bomb bulldog!  The tag was made to Haggar.
Haggar came in and booted Skarzz in the head as he got to his feet.  Haggar waited for Skarzz to get back up again and nailed him with a lariat.  Skarzz stood there and locked his hand around Mike Haggar's head, trying to force him down with a painful clawhold!  Haggar tried to get free by punching Skarzz in the stomach.  He might as well have been punching a brick.  Skarzz eventually got Haggar down on the mat.  The referee counted.

NO!!! Shoulder up!  But Skarzz still had the hold on!  The only person who was going to break that hold was going to be Skarzz, and that would be when he was damn good and ready.  Whether it was boredom or just a desire to dish out a different sort of punishment, Skarzz released the claw.  He grabbed Haggar's legs and began to spin him around.  GIANT SWING!!!
This couldn't be doing wonders for Haggar.  He had just spent around thirty seconds in a claw hold, and now he was being spun around the ring, all of his blood rushing to his head.  Skarzz spun around six... seven... eight... nine... TEN TIMES before he dropped Haggar to the mat.  Amazingly, Skarzz wasn't even dizzy.  Haggar's world was still spinning when Skarzz grabbed him by the throat and picked him up for a choke slam!  Haggar hit the mat with force and Skarzz went for the cover.

        2...
NO!!! Kickout!!! Haggar didn't make it this far without being darn resilient, and that's what we were seeing here.
Skarzz picked Haggar up off of the mat and went for a bodyslam.  Haggar escaped the move and hooked Skarzz in a bridging back suplex!  But Haggar was still dizzy and couldn't keep Skarzz's shoulders down on the mat.  Skarzz kicked out at one and, when Haggar got up, Skarzz caught him with an elbow to the jaw.  Skarzz dragged Haggar to the Major Force corner, where Alexander "The Grater" was tagged in.  Grater and Skarzz connected with a double waistlock suplex, launching Haggar into the air.  Grater went for the pin.

        2...
NO!!! Kickout!!! Mike Haggar was taking a lot of damage... and Jack Slade sure wasn't rushing in to stop it!
Grater locked the hurting Haggar in a sleeperhold.  Haggar didn't have a whole lot left to fight out with, and it showed.  Within a few seconds, Haggar was slumped down on the mat.  The referee checked his arm.
    It falls once...
    It falls twice...
It falls.... NO!!! IT STAYS UP!!!
Haggar, getting a surge of energy, fought his way to his feet.  He planted a few elbows into the midsection of Grater before bouncing off the ropes for an attack.  A clubbing fist from behind by Skarzz set Haggar up for another choke slam.  Grater tagged out to Skarzz.
Skarzz grabbed Haggar by the hair and nailed him with a big headbutt.  Then another.  Haggar was out on his feet and Skarzz looked to finish him off.  He locked on a bearhug, trying to squeeze the last breaths out of Mike Haggar.
At ringside, Jessica Haggar was frantic.  She had finally lost whatever cool she was keeping.  "Why aren't you helping him???", she yelled at Slade.  "He's your partner!!!"  Slade did his best not to pay attention.  He wasn't going to save Haggar until it became absolutely necessary.
Haggar was going out once more.  The referee checked his arm.  He barely touched it before Haggar came back to life.  Haggar began punching at Skarzz, but to no effect.  He tried a couple of ear ringers.  The second one released the hold.  Haggar went for another right, but Skarzz blocked it and nailed Haggar with a right of his own!  Haggar went down hard.  Skarzz looked to end it all.  He picked Haggar up onto his shoulder and hit the Skarring!!!

        2...
SLADE MAKES THE SAVE!!! FINALLY!!!  Skarzz got to his feet, but Slade nailed him with a piledriver on his way up!  He went back outside and waited for the tag!!!
Skarzz didn't even stay down for two seconds after the piledriver.  He got up and smashed Haggar in the back with a double axhandle.  Skarzz then tossed Haggar over the top.  Saul Masters pulled a table from under ringside.  He set it up and pointed Skarzz towards it.  Skarzz picked Haggar up and power bombed him through the table!!!
Skarzz rolled Haggar back into the ring and made the tag to Alexander "The Grater".  The two teamed up and pressed Haggar high over head with a double Gorilla Press!!!
Haggar was being beaten within an inch of his life.  The Sixth Member hasn't shown.  Jack Slade, who still might be the Sixth Member, the way he was acting, was standing on the apron for most of this.  Things were not looking good.
Grater picked Haggar up and put him in the corner.  He began burying elbows into the head of the half conscious Haggar.  We could see Haggar's nose was bleeding.  He was taking a big beating here.  Grater backed off and nailed Haggar with a massive Tenderizer elbow shot.  Haggar stumbled forward...
AND NAILED GRATER WITH A SPINNING LARIAT!!! Haggar fell to the mat, exhausted!!! The move had taken Grater down hard, but now Haggar had to get out!  HE HAD TO MAKE THE TAG TO SLADE!!!
Haggar inched his way to his corner, but Grater grabbed his foot.  Haggar simply kicked Grater off.  Out of sheet desperation, Haggar dove at Slade...
    THE TAG WAS MADE!!!
Slade rushed into the ring, taking Grater down with a clothesline.  Still running, Slade hit Skarzz with a dropkick, knocking him off the apron.  Grater got up and was nailed by a Slade brain buster!!!  The Cruncher quickly went up top as the crowd cheered him on.  He gave a high sign to the crowd and then flew off and nailed Grater with a flying dropkick!!!  Slade gave the signal.  He was going to try and end this thing with the Spiked DDT!!!
Slade picked Grater up off the mat and synched him up!  Skarzz ran into the ring and nailed Slade in the back of the head!  Grater grabbed Slade, picked him up in a suplex and dropped him with the DOOMSDAY TORNADO!!!  He went for the cover!!!

HAGGAR MAKES THE SAVE!!!  He then ran over to the Major Force corner and nailed Skarzz with a lariat!  Skarzz tried to get in the ring, but the ref went to stop him.  Grater got up and Haggar nailed him with a lariat!  Both men were down!  Haggar got in his corner and yelled at Slade for the tag!  Slade started to get up!
HE DIDN'T GO FOR THE TAG!!! Slade climbed up to the top ropes one more time.  Grater caught him!  Grater knocked him onto the top buckle and caught him by the throat!  DEATH FROM ABOVE!!!  PIn attempt!!!

            THNO!!!  NO!!!  SHOULDER!!!
Grater picked Slade up and went for a Gorilla press.  Slade escaped the hold, sliding down Grater's back and planting him with an inverted DDT!!!  Slade quickly, groggily got to his feet and tagged Haggar back in!!!
Haggar nailed Grater with a diving elbowsmash, sending Grater into his corner and allowing him to make the tag to Skarzz.  Skarzz came in over the top ropes, but Haggar caught him with a lariat, putting him on his back.  Haggar quickly dropped a leg.  Skarzz got up and was nailed with a DDT!!!  Haggar picked Skarzz up, but Skarzz nailed him with a chop to the throat!  Skarzz then went behind Haggar and hit a waistlock suplex!  Jack Slade was right back in the ring, nailing Skarzz with a flying forearm to the head!  Skarzz staggered back and Slade kicked him in the stomach and nailed him with the SPIKED DDT!!!
Skarzz was down for five seconds before he got back up.  Haggar got right back on him and nailed him with a spinning lariat!  He tagged in Slade, who came off the top rope with a flying cross body press!  Skarzz caught Slade, but Haggar ran behind the big man and clipped out his knee from under him.  Slade made the cover!

Skarzz and Grater picked Haggar up and planted him with a big double power bomb!  They tried the same move on Slade, but Slade flipped over and landed behind them.  Grater received a low blow while Skarzz was wrapped up in a small package!

Outside, Ghost picked Jack Slade up and nailed him with the FINAL BREATH!!!  The World Champ was all but out when Ghost rolled him into the ring.
Mike Haggar tried to lock Skarzz in the Screwdriver, but Skarzz hit a backdrop.  Haggar went outside.  Skarzz then turned his attention to the World Champ.  Pin attempt!

Major Force (Alexander "The Grater" and Skarzz) defeated Mike Haggar and Jack Slade when Skarzz pinned Slade after the Skarring in 0:25:51.
Rating: **** 1/2

Major Force stormed into the ring!  Still no Sixth Member in sight!!! This was a set-up!!!  There was nobody else coming in!!!  Saul Masters had baited Mike Haggar and Jack Slade and they fell for it!!!
Grater grabbed Haggar from outside and brought him in.  Immediately, he picked the former champ up and nailed him with the Doomsday Tornado!!!
Saul Masters started pointing the hard metal handle of his whip into the ribs of Jack Slade.  He then went after his arm, which was in a cast not weeks ago.  Major Force was looking to dismantle Slade and Haggar!!!
Skarzz placed Haggar on the ropes and started choking him!!!  RIGHT IN FRONT OF JESSICA!!!  Jessica Haggar couldn't do anything but watch.  She didn't DARE get in the ring with Major Force by herself!
Ghost picked Slade up for another Final Breath.  For added pain, Kodiak Marmoset got a steel chair from ringside.  Ghost executed the move on top of the chair.  Jack Slade wasn't moving.
Skarzz left Haggar unconscious on the ropes.  Slade was down in the middle of the ring.  Jessica Haggar looked on in terror.  She tried to shake her father, tried to wake him up.
Major Force stood in the middle of the ring.  Saul Masters handed the World Tag Team Titles to Skarzz and Grater.  The World Tag Team Champs held the belts high overhead.
Mike Haggar came to on the ropes.  He was in too much pain to do anything except issue a warning to Jessica.  "Run."
Saul Masters looked at Skarzz with a smile.  He yelled a command.
    "NOW!"
Suddenly, Skarzz nailed GRATER in the back of the head with his Tag Team Title!!!  Grater fell to the mat, and Major Force swarmed him!!! MAJOR FORCE WAS ATTACKING ALEXANDER "THE GRATER"!!!  SKARZZ WAS ATTACKING HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER!!!
Jessica tried to get Mike Haggar off of the ropes.  Haggar shrugged her off.  He again told her to run.  "Get out.  Get help."
Ghost picked up Grater and nailed him with the Final Breath!!! What was Major Force doing?!?!?  What was Saul Masters doing?!?!?
Jessica Haggar quickly made her way away from ringside.  Saul Masters smiled as she ran towards the back.  As if he knew something...
Skarzz picked Grater up and nailed him with the Skarring!
Jack Slade was staring to get up.  Kodiak nailed him with the Big V!
Haggar was getting off the ropes.  Ghost hit him in the back of the head with Masters' whip.
Jessica Haggar was almost in the back.  She made her way to the curtains...
JESSICA HAGGAR FELL DOWN!!! SOMETHING HAD PUSHED HER BACK!!!
There was a rustling of the curtains.  Somebody was back there!
    The curtains opened...
    Oh no!
    It's him!
    He's back!!!

    ....

    THE SCORPION!!!
