Welcome to Monday Night Massacre!
We are just five days away from
a day of revelations. Five days away from finding out who the Sixth
Member of Major Force is. Five days away from Secrets! Tonight
promises to be a little bit crazy.
Oni, who is prepared to take
on Baki Mono member Zuzanow this Saturday, has issued a challenge to the
Dark Storm. Oni has a partner he'd like to show them.
West Bronco faces off against
the Highland Giant himself, Hamish Mactavish.
The dynamic duo of StB, Cody
Simmons and Ron Grayson, will face off against the high-flying Air Raiders.
Biff Slamkovich, days away from
facing the All-Americans in a handicap match, will have a little support
tonight. He'll be teaming up against Gunloc and Chad Hillsman with
"Titan" Tim Redbury at his side.
Major Force is here. So
is Terry Sky. So is Simply the Best.
And we have a big double main
event. First, the SMWA World Title will be on the line as Champion
Jack Slade takes on "Jackhammer" Andrew Marshall. And to cap it all
off, Mike Haggar looks for a little bit of revenge against the man who
snuck away with a countout win a few weeks ago, Kodiak Marmoset.
******** Cue Major Force's Music ********
Some of the most hated men in
the SMWA made their way down to the ring.
Ever since Saul Masters meddled
in the New Year's Smash main event, they have been a thorn in the side
of Jack Slade and Mike Haggar. At one point, the chance for a reunion
between those two might have been a possibility. Now it's at the
point where the only reason that Mike Haggar and Jack Slade would team
would be to discover StB's mystery member. Slade and Haggar no longer
trust each other, and they might not even like each other. With that
in mind, they have to face off against Skarzz and Alexander "The Grater".
Things do not look good.
Saul Masters entered the ring,
mic in hand. He had things to say.
MASTERS: Five days from now, Major Force will
become that much more indestructible. Come Saturday, nobody will
be able to stop us from our goal. And that goal is the destruction
and disillusion of Mike Haggar and Jack Slade. Haggar, Slade, I know
you're here, so I suggest you listen. People have been guessing for
weeks about who our Sixth Member is. Is it you, Mike Haggar?
Wrestling has always proven that the greatest heroes can become everybody's
biggest enemy at will. Are you really any different? Is it
you, Jack Slade? Fed up with being under Haggar's shadow, are you
finally going to do the right thing? Maybe neither of you believe
me. Still, though, I'd wager everything I own that, when you look
at each other come Saturday, you'll be wondering, thinking, second guessing.
Your greatest foe could very well be the man standing in the same corner
as you. Stranger things have happened, haven't they?
Tonight, Haggar, you have the
unenviable task of taking on a very, very angry man in Kodiak Marmoset.
I suggest you don't look past him. He's already proven he can beat
you. He'll do it again. And Slade? Don't think that,
just because you don't have a match against any of us tonight, that you
will roam free. We'll be in touch.
SKY: Hey, Masters!
Terry Sky had shown up on SlamVision! Terry Sky was addressing Major Force!
SKY: Don't bother arguing with me here, Saul. This is a recording. I'm in the building, Masters, and I'm not going to give you any tips as to when I'm going to show up. But I will. And if you think StB is going to stop me, you are so wrong. Tonight, it's time for a reckoning. I'll get in touch you when it's time. It's going to be a Hardknocks night for you guys.
And with that, Sky's pre-recorded message went off. Sky has already accused Saul Masters of taking his money. If he finds Major Force, who knows what he's going to do.
MASTERS: I suggest you do keep moving, Sky. Dressed like you are, security might accuse you of being a vagrant and arrest you for loitering. You will not get involved in my plans tonight, Sky. I'll make more than sure of that.
With that, Major Force left the
ring.
Major Force is looking for Mike
Haggar and Jack Slade. Terry Sky is looking for Major Force.
AS a result, Simply the Best will soon be looking for Terry Sky.
This is going to get nuts.
As we went to commercial, we
saw Jack Slade pacing around backstage. He could be heard mumbling
something about Saul Masters being a "Jackass".
When we returned, Jessica Haggar was talking her father's ear off in the back.
JESSICA: I think we should put it aside for tonight.
HAGGAR: I don't think so, Jess.
JESSICA: Look, you two are going to be teaming in five days. Maybe you should start burying the hatchet tonight?
HAGGAR: I can take care of myself, Jess. So can Jack.
Oni & ???
vs
Dark Storm
w/ Zists
It is rare for the Baki Mono
and Oni to actually take the time to "schedule" a match with each other.
Usually, the encounters just seem to pop up. The Baki Mono lured
Oni into a trap this way on the weekend, Oni only being saved by that even
more mysterious blue flame. This time, it was Oni making the challenge.
He and a mystery partner against Fujin and Raijin, the Dark Storm.
This Saturday, Oni takes on
Baki Mono member Zuzanow, one of the two that we have not seen in action,
the other being the enormous Amatsu. At least this time, Oni would
have an actual person on his side.
The Dark Storm made their way
down first amidst all of their usual wind and thunder. Zists was
the lone manager this week. Of course, this begs the question of
where Iznami and the rest of the Baki Mono were.
We saw the bright flash of light
next, signalling that Oni was to make his appearance. Oni showed
up at the entranceway... alone. But somebody was appearing behind
him...
NAGA YAJITO! The former
vassal of Baki Mono member Teioh has now chosen to fight against his former
masters! Naga and Oni bowed to each other as a show of respect and
made their way to the ring.
While it's good of Naga to team
with Oni, one has to wonder about the logic here. Naga has been thrashed
by the Baki Mono time and time again. Unless Oni's taught him a few
tricks, there is no reason to believe that tonight would be any different.
Oni would start things for his
tea. Fujin was first in for the Dark Storm. The bell rang...
Oni and Fujin traded and dodged
a few kicks before Fujin hit the first move of the match, a Frankensteiner.
Oni quickly responded with a spinning back kick that caught Fujin in the
side of the head. A dropkick put the Great Wind on his back.
Oni waited for him to get up and then chopped him in the throat.
Oni went for another chop but Fujin moved and nailed Oni with an elbow
in the side of the head. A DDT put Oni down for a flying legdrop.
Fujin made the cover but only got a two count. Fujin made the tag
to Raijin.
Raijin continued the assault
and joined Fujin in several double team attacks. Naga wasn't getting
in the ring and Oni couldn't get to him to make the tag. The Dark
Storm plastered Oni with a double power bomb and followed up with a double
flash elbowdrop. Oni was in a bad way.
Raijin put Oni on the top rope,
presumably for the Thunderclap, his top rope backdrop driver. Oni
fought free with a series of elbows and Raijin hit the ground. Oni
turned himself around on the top rope, jumped and nailed Raijin with a
flying dropkick. A leg lariat took Fujin off of the apron and Oni
then delivered the Neck Wrecker to Raijin. He went for the cover.

NAGA YAJITO BREAKS THE PIN???
Oni got up and confronted Yajito.
Naga had turned on Oni. Oni was going to make him suffer.
The lights dimmed. The
Baki Mono ran into the ring. The ref called for the bell.
Oni and Naga Yajito defeated
Dark Storm (Fujin and Raijin) when Oni defeated Raijin by disqualification in 0:06:04.
Rating: * 1/2
Oni fought as best he could,
but the numbers were too many. The Baki Mono were all over him, with
the exception of the giant Amatsu, who stood in the aisle to prevent any
escape. The Baki Mono were intent on destroying Oni.
Teioh broke away from the assault
to congratulate Naga for his deception. We all thought Naga had broken
free. He hadn't.
The Dark Storm picked Oni up
by the arms and held him for Iznami. From a holster on her back,
she pulled out a samurai sword!
Oh no. Iznami pointed
the sword at Oni...
THE SWORD BURSTS INTO BLUE FLAMES!!!
IZNAMI DROPS THE SWORD!!!
With the Dark Storm confused,
Oni was able to break free. There was a flash of light, and Oni was
gone!
The Dark Storm had made one
last attempt before Saturday to take Oni out, but their tricks failed them
again. We'd see Oni take on Zuzanow on Saturday. Would
we have our questions about the blue fire answered? Who knows...
Backstage, Saul Masters was talking to Simply the Best.
CLARK: Look, we're busy tonight, okay?
MASTERS: I understand, Rick. Cody and Ron have their tag team match... Where are Cody and the girl?
GRAYSON: They had some business at the hotel they had to take care of.
MASTERS: Not important... Jerry, you'll probably want to watch the next match. What do you have to do for the rest of the evening, Rick?
CLARK: I thought I'd hit the bar and pick up.
MASTERS: Clark, remind me again what I paid you for?
CLARK: Hh. To keep Terry Sky out of your business.
MASTERS: Earn your money tonight.
Masters was on his way out the door when Clark spoke up.
CLARK: You know, you're being a real jerk about this.
Masters paused and slowly turned around.
MASTERS: For what I'm paying you, I think I'm entitled.
We went to commercial and, when we came back, Jessica Haggar was knocking on Jack Slade's dressing room door. Jack opened up.
SLADE: What?
JESSICA: Jack, we need to talk.
SLADE: That always seems to cause trouble, doesn't it.
JESSICA: Jack, look. You heard Major Force. They're after you and dad. Maybe you two should bury the hatchet for just one night, huh?
SLADE: Your dad's always been able to take care of himself before, Jess. And I can take care of myself, too. You want help, you're talking to the wrong guy.
With that, Jack Slade closed
the dressing room door.
Jess is taking the words of
Saul Masters quite seriously. She wants to make sure that Slade and
Haggar have each other's backs covered. Too bad Jack and Haggar don't
have the same views.
We went to the ring. "Jumbo" Jack Flap was going to be the referee. That would cause some troubles, considering who was in the match.
Hamish MacTavish
w/ Angus Wallace
vs
West Bronco
This Saturday, Jumbo will be
in charge of the match between "The Rebel" Jerry Kent and West Bronco.
All he has to do is referee a fair match. Unfortunately, that seems
to be Jumbo's problem. Any time he's in the ring with a member of
Simply the Best, Jumbo seems to call the match against them. Any
time he's in a match with West Bronco, Jumbo seems to call the match for
Bronco. Both Bronco and Kent are fed up with it. Maybe something
will be settled on Saturday.
Hamish, on the other hand, is
recovering nicely from the knee injury inflicted upon him by Kodiak Marmoset.
Hamish's friend, the Flying Scotsman, will be going for revenge on Hamish's
behalf this Saturday as he faces off against Kodiak in both a Toughman
Bout and a TV Title match. That should be interesting, as well.
These are two big brawlers.
Hamish is bigger and stronger, Bronco is faster and has the crowd on his
side. This one would be good.
The bell rang...
Hamish displayed his power early
in a series of lock-ups and Bronco was forced to change his strategy.
He attempted a series of lariats, but Hamish wasn't going down. Bronco
went for another one but Hamish responded with a lariat of his own, putting
Bronco down.
Hamish simply overpowered Bronco,
nailing him with several power bombs before nearly putting him down with
a Doctor Bomb. Bronco would have the brief flurry of offence here
and there, but this was mostly Hamish's match. After beating on Bronco
for a few more minutes, Hamish yell to Angus at ringside. Wallace
blatantly grabbed a steel chair and tossed it into the ring. Jumbo
wasn't having any of that. He grabbed the chair, threw it back at
Wallace and warned him not to get involved again.
Admittedly, it was a stupid
move by the Highlanders and it was a good call by Jumbo to get the chair
out of there, but you can bet somebody's reading into that call.
Hamish kept up his assault with
a Tombstone piledriver. Bronco just couldn't avoid Hamish long enough
to get his senses back. Hamish dropped West with a Jack-knife power
bomb and went for the pin.
1..
2...
NO!!! KICKOUT!!! Bronco still has something left.
Hamish wanted this one over.
He perched Bronco on the top rope in an attempt at the Scottish Slam.
Bronco gave Hamish a couple
of punches, knocking him off of the top rope. Hamish got back up
but was floored by a flying lariat. Bronco bounced off the ropes
again...
Angus grabbed his leg and Bronco
fell to the mat. Jumbo saw and called for the bell.
Uh oh.
West Bronco defeated Hamish
MacTavish by disqualification in 0:09:57.
Rating: * 1/4
Hamish got up in Jumbo's face,
questioning the decision. It was pretty simple. Angus had interfered
once and Jumbo wasn't going to let it go unpunished again. He then
ordered Highland Hell out of the ring.
Jumbo turned around to find
an upset West Bronco. Bronco didn't say anything, but he quite literally
bore a hole in Jumbo with his eyes. Then, on SlamVision, Jerry Kent
appeared.
KENT: I don't think he wants your help, Jumbo. You keep that in mind this Saturday, hey? They say a referee's his best when you don't even notice him. Well, as tough as it might be for your fat ass, I don't want to notice you at all this Saturday. If I do, you remember our deal. You and me. One more time. You got that, blubber?
Jumbo didn't respond. He
just looked at Kent's smiling face. Bronco, on the other hand, wasn't
up to doing anything more. He left the ring and went to the back,
Jumbo calling for him as he left.
This situation is likely to
explode on Saturday.
In the back, Ron Grayson was on a cellular phone.
GRAYSON: Where are you guys? In the taxi? We're up next, Cody... OK.... Did you guys get the dry cleaning problem sorted out? You did? The stain came out of her blouse? Good... That was a nice blouse... Well, hurry up, okay?
We went to commercial. Would Cody be back for our next match?
The Air Raiders
vs
Simply the
Best (Grayson/Simmons) w/ Monica
Grayson came out first... alone. Apparently, Cody was still on his way to the arena. Grayson climbed into the ring and took the mic.
GRAYSON: Cody and Monica are late. They'll be here, but they had to deal with our dry cleaning. Something about a stain, I don't know. Man... Okay, since me and Cody didn't have time to put anything together, here goes nothing... IF YOU'RE NOT DOWN WITH StB, I'VE GOT TW... THREE WORDS FOR YA!
The crowd was mostly silent.
GRAYSON: Never mind.
The Air Raiders came out next...
Still no Cody or Monica. Spider and Stingray entered the ring.
Grayson tried to stall for time with the referee, but to no avail.
This match was going to start whether Cody and Monica were here or not.
Stingray was going to start
things for his team. Grayson was alone. The bell rang...
Grayson and Stingray engaged
in some simple holds to start off. In fact, Grayson seemed quite
reluctant to let any hold go. He would lock Stingray in a headlock
and then start looking to the back as if waiting for Cody and Monica to
show up. Finally, Stingray took advantage of Grayson's distractedness,
taking him down with a Frankensteiner and then going for a pin after a
senton.
The crowd perked up and looked
to the aisle. Here came Cody, Monica in tow. Guess they left
the dry cleaning at the hotel.
Cody jumped onto the apron and
let Grayson know he was there to be tagged. Unfortunately, Grayson
was in the grips of a painful leglock at the time and couldn't tag if he
wanted to. Finally, Stingray made another Frankensteiner attempt,
but Grayson countered with a power bomb. Cody was tagged in.
Stingray was our first ever
Toughman Champion, but he wasn't able to match fists with Mr. Simmons.
Cody had Stingray reeling and then started working on his knees in an attempt
to ground the luchador. Grayson was tagged back in and some slick
StB double teaming had Stingray in considerable trouble. In fact,
Cody was even able to display some of his limited wrestling ability during
these exchanges.
After softening Stingray up
some more, Cody irish whipped him into the corner and charged in with a
kneelift. Stingray moved and Cody's knee bounced out of the corner.
Stingray followed up with an enzuigiri to the face and made the tag to
Spider.
Spider and Stingray were all
over Cody in a prolonged series of double teams. Double dropkicks.
A dropkick to the back followed by a missile dropkick from Spider.
A dropkick by Stingray followed by a Spider crucifix. This match
was turning into a big old festival of dropkicks! Cody was having
trouble counting them all.
Finally, Cody got the edge,
using a double DDT to take Spider and Stingray down. The tag was
made to Grayson and a brawl was on. Then, somebody else came to ringside.
Rod Emerson. Emerson and
his tag partner, Andrew Marshall, will be facing off against Cody and Grayson
this Saturday at Secrets. It looked like Emerson wanted a better
look.
Well, Monica immediately got
into Emerson's face. Seeing him as some sort of a threat, Monica
slapped him in the face. Emerson wasn't impressed and he advanced
towards Monica, warning her not to do that again.
In the ring, Cody was pounding
on Spider when he saw what was happening at ringside. He left Spider
in the ring and dove out of the ring at Emerson. Grayson looked over
and saw the brawl outside and went to join Cody in his attack.
The Air Raiders were a bit confused,
but they weren't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. They seemed
quite happy to let the ref count StB out.
The Air Raiders defeated Simply
the Best (Cody Simmons and Ron Grayson) when Spider defeated Grayson by
countout in 0:09:15.
Rating: ** 3/4
Emerson was suffering because of the StB assault, and Cody and Grayson let up. Then they looked at each other. Grayson seemed a bit shocked that Cody had fought so hard to keep Emerson away from Monica. But neither man thought much of it.
Backstage, Nick Jones was ready for an interview with Andrew Marshall.
JONES: I'm here with "Jackhammer" Andrew Marshall, who is just minutes away from one of the biggest matches of his young life. Now, Andrew, before we get to that, I'd like to ask you about what just happened with Rod... AHHH!!!
Skarzz delivered a vicious kick
to Andrew Marshall's head! It was Skarzz that Marshall last dumped
in Saturday's Battle Royal to get the World Title shot tonight. And
Skarzz was obviously furious! He took Marshall into a nearby wall
headfirst and then proceeded to beat him within an inch of his life.
Finally, Skarzz picked Marshall up and hit a modified version of the Skarring
onto a table in the back!
Marshall was down! Skarzz
was making his way away from the scene! The World Title match was
next!!!
Main Event Number
One
SMWA World
Title Match
"The Cruncher"
Jack Slade
vs
"Jackhammer"
Andrew Marshall
******** Cue Major Force's Music ********
Oh, this just isn't good at all.
Not at all.
Saul Masters was on his way
down to the ring, Skarzz right behind him. They had just beaten the
ever-loving crap out of Andrew Marshall... and now they were going after
Jack Slade, it appeared.
Masters got on the mic as soon
as he stepped into the ring.
MASTERS: I know you were all expecting to see Andrew Marshall in this match. There was an unfortunate run-in backstage and Andrew Marshall will not be able to make the match. However, we do have a replacement, and he's right here behind me!
Skarzz was replacing Andrew Marshall!?!?
What a despicable set-up by Masters! But how could Skarzz actually
be the replacement?
A wave of cheers went through
the crowd. SMWA Commissioner Jack McCullough was on his way to the
ring. He was going to get this all cleared up. Mic in hand,
he started in on Masters.
MCCULLOUGH: You think I'm going to let Skarzz replace Marshall after what he did to him?
MASTERS: Before you go any further, I think you should read the contract for that Battle Royal. It clearly states that, if the winner cannot wrestle the Champion, then the runner up shall replace him. Skarzz was the runner up.
MCCULLOUGH: Skarzz attacked Marshall backstage. That goes a little bit further than the winner not being able to wrestle.
MASTERS: We could argue the specifics all day long, McCullough, but I have a signed contract here that gives my man the shot since Marshall isn't here. We're taking our shot. And I recommend you stop giving us trouble, McCullough. Eventually, we'll be making your decisions for you, so you might as well get used to the idea.
******** Cue Jack Slade's Music ********
The World Champ was on his way
to the ring. This Saturday, Skarzz and Slade will be on opposite
sides of the ring for our big tag team main event. But it doesn't
look like we'll have to wait that long to see them face off!
Slade grabbed McCullough's microphone.
SLADE: Jack, it may not be fair, but if I can't have Marshall, I'll gladly take on Scratchy, here. Ring the bell.
With that, Slade jumped Skarzz. McCullough shrugged his shoulders and ordered the bell to be rung. We had a World Title Match!!!
Slade was hitting Skarzz as hard
as he could, but it wasn't nearly enough. Slade should have known
better than to trade blows with a monster like Skarzz. Skarzz took
all of the shots and was still standing. Slade went down after one
right hand!
Skarzz didn't waste any time
getting physical in this one. After beating Slade down with a bevy
of punches and kicks, he put him up top and nailed him with a superplex.
After a series of spinning elbowdrops, Skarzz went for the pin and got
a two count. The match hadn't even reached the two minute point and
Skarzz was already in complete control of the World Champ.
Skarzz picked Slade up over
his head with a Gorilla press slam, holding him there as if he were some
sort of trophy. Skarzz dropped him neck first on the top rope.
Slade bounced onto the mat and Skarzz put a boot in his throat and began
to choke him. He then picked Slade up and nailed him with a choke
slam. Another cover, another two count.
Skarzz was relentless.
He picked Slade up by the legs and began to spin around. Jack Slade
found himself trapped in a Giant swing and couldn't do a thing about it.
Skarzz managed to spin around a good ten times before dropping Slade to
the ground. Skarzz was dizzy, but he still managed to find Jack Slade's
head with a perfectly good kneedrop. This was turning into a slaughter.
Slade was being whipped from
pillar to post. He couldn't even raise a fist against Skarzz, much
less throw a punch. And if he had, it might not have done any good.
Skarzz whipped Slade into the corner and crushed him with an avalanche.
He took him to the opposite corner and repeated the move.
Slade moved out of the way.
Skarzz was stunned for a second, and that's all it took for Slade to nail
him with a legsweep faceslam! It bought Slade a few seconds of rest,
but Skarzz was back up in no time.
Slade was sticking and moving.
He wasn't going to let Skarzz get a piece of him again. He nailed
Skarzz with a few dropkicks to the chest. No effect. He switched
tactics and went for dropkicks to the leg. That did some damage.
Slade ran behind Skarzz and jumped onto his shoulders, hooking an arm,
nailing him with a Concussion bomb. Slade gave the signal for the
Spiked DDT. He hooked Skarzz up... and was backdropped!
But he held on for a sunset flip! Skarzz let loose a right hand.
Slade move and Skarzz slammed his fist into the mat. Slade nailed
him with a stunner. Skarzz didn't go down. A second one.
Still up! Slade picked up Skarzz and went for a bodyslam.
He couldn't hold the weight.
Skarzz fell on him and went for the pin.
1...
2...
NO!!! Shoulder up!!!
Skarzz picked Slade up and nailed
him with a Yakuza kick. He then put him up top for another superplex.
Slade fought free and got Skarzz off of the turnbuckles. He nailed
him with a flying cross body press....
Skarzz caught Slade and powerslammed
him to the mat. This battle was uphill all the way.
Skarzz again stood on Slade's
windpipe. The referee tried to get him off. Skarzz grabbed
the ref by the throat and choke slammed him!!!
DOWN CAME MAJOR FORCE!!!
Jack Slade defeated Skarzz
by disqualification in 0:10:53.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Jack Slade retained the
SMWA World Heavyweight Title.)
The rest of Major Force leapt into the ring and swarmed Slade. Saul Masters took the microphone.
MASTERS: Haggar. I know you're here. You better stay in the back. Just like we want you to.
The beating on Slade continued. A camera was backstage, where Jessica Haggar was talking to Mike Haggar.
JESSICA: You gotta get out there, dad.
HAGGAR: That's just what they want, Jess.
JESSICA: Dammit, dad, stop being paranoid!
HAGGAR: Jack always wanted to take care of himself...
JESSICA: Is that what he's doing?
HAGGAR: Doesn't it look suspicious to you? "Stay in the back like we want you to?"
JESSICA: Yeah, it does. But if Jack is going to turn on you, it might as well be tonight. You've got to get out there, dad, or...
HAGGAR: Or what, Jess?
Major Force was holding Slade up as Ghost plastered him with a steel chair.
JESSICA: Or you might not have a partner this Saturday!
Haggar kept watching the TV.
Major Force had nailed Jack Slade with a chair once more. This was
getting vicious.
Haggar grumbled and got to his
feet.
HAGGAR: Dammit, Jess, I hate it when you're right.
With that, Mike Haggar ran out
of his dressing room.
The assault on Jack Slade continued.
Major Force was doing some heavy damage to our World Champ, and Mike Haggar
wasn't there... yet!
Finally, Haggar emerged from
the back, wielding a two by four he had found along the way. He jumped
into the ring and began to clear house. Rather than attack Haggar,
Saul Masters decided to get his troops away from the ring. Major
Force went to the back, Masters walking backwards so he could smile at
Haggar as he went.
Slade was down and out on the
ground. He was just barely starting to move. He saw Haggar
with the two by four. Haggar didn't even turn to look at the fallen
Slade. He left the ring and headed into the back.
Mike Haggar had saved Jack Slade
from a worse beating, but the Cruncher had been hurt and hurt back.
His right eye was beginning to swell up.
Haggar sure took his sweet time.
We went to commercial. When we came back, we were refreshed on last week's events, when Gunloc challenged Biff Slamkovich to a handicap match at Secrets, with the added stipulation that, if Biff won, the All-Americans would never bother him again. Tonight, Biff would warm up... and he'd have somebody watching his back.
War of the Super
Powers: Clash with the Titan
The All-Americans
vs
Biff Slamkovich
& "Titan" Tim Redbury
Gunloc and his censored tag team
partner came out to all the boos the crowd could muster. Hillsman
is probably the most reviled man in wrestling, with Gunloc being hated
by simple association... and the fact that he double crossed Biff Slamkovich
to join this guy.
It's been odd watching Hillsman
come to the ring with this censorship being placed upon him. You
can tell he isn't too happy with McCullough for placing the band on him,
and you can tell he'd love to give a few people a piece of his mind, but
the ultra-nationalist will have to find another platform for his wrath.
Biff and Titan came out to a
huge fanfare. Titan is putting aside his business with the Dark Brand
for one night in order to help Slamkovich in this feud, and you can bet
that Biff appreciates it.
Biff Slamkovich started things
off for his team, Chad Hillsman for the All-Americans. The bell rang...
It didn't take long for this
one to get violent. Within moments, these two foes were pounding
the crap out of each other. Hillsman ducked his head too early on
one exchange and Biff capitalized, nailing Chad with a piledriver very
early in the match. Biff picked Chad up and hit him with another
one! Biff then climbed the top rope and waited for a stunned Hillsman
to get up. Biff nailed him with a flying axhandle and went for the
pin.
Two count.
Biff kept up his assault, using
a few suplexes to keep Chad off balance, but Hillsman was able to gain
the edge when Biff missed a savate kick. Hillsman levelled him with
a lariat and then put him down again with a backdrop driver. He made
the tag to Gunloc, who continued much along the same lines. He and
Hillsman nailed Biff with a tandem power bomb before Gunloc put his former
tag team partner on the top rope and nailed him with a belly-to-belly superplex.
He went for the cover. Two count. Gunloc enjoyed some more
success against Biff, nearly knocking his head off with an enzuigiri.
Still, Slamkovich had a lot of gas left in the tank. Gunloc went
for a high cross body off of the ropes and Biff was able to counter with
a powerslam. He got to the corner and made the first tag to Titan
Tim!
Redbury immediately hoofed both
All-Americans in the face with his size 26 feet. Titan then felled
Gunloc with a Russian legsweep before crushing him with a splash from the
second rope. A cover resulted in a very close two count. Titan
picked Gunloc up again, but Gunloc countered with a thumb to the eye.
He then tried to hit Titan with the Gut Crush, but Titan wasn't ready yet.
He tossed Gunloc into the corner and began to choke him with his boot.
Biff was tagged back in, and
he managed some good double teaming with Titan, including a combination
neckbreaker/back suplex that had Gunloc reeling. Biff tore right
in to his former partner, making sure he couldn't get back to Hillsman
to make the tag. Biff nailed Gunloc with a power bomb and then a
leg lariat before setting him up for a Tombstone. Gunloc's head hit
the mat hard and Biff went up to the top. He was going for the Hammer
Splash!
Chad Hillsman ran to the corner
where Biff was and pulled his leg. Biff fell onto the top rope.
Hillsman and the ref argued, but Gunloc was now in control. He used
a regular superplex to take Biff off of the top. He went for the
cover.
1...
2...
NO!!! Close, though. Gunloc made the tag to Hillsman, and the
All-Americans hit Biff with a combination dropkick/German suplex for another
near fall. It was all All-Americans for a few minutes, as they used
their power and teamwork to keep Biff and Titan separated. Finally,
though, a mistake was made. The All-Americans went for a double back
suplex, but Biff flipped over and nailed both men with a DDT. Titan
was brought back in and all hell broke loose.
The action quickly spilled outside,
where the fight was becoming more important than the count. Biff
and Gunloc were tearing into each other on one side of the ring, while
Titan and Hillsman were rekindling old fires on the other.
Then, from out of the crowd,
somebody jumped onto Titan... THE DARK BRAND!!!
The ref, tired of putting up
with the craziness, counted both men out.
The All-Americans (Chad Hillsman and Gunloc) and Biff
Slamkovich and Titan Tim Redbury battled to a double countout in 0:12:11.
Rating: ** 1/2
Hillsman, seeing Titan was occupied,
broke away from Titan and went to Slamkovich.
Titan grabbed the Brand off
of his back and tossed him over the guardrail. Titan climbed into
the crowd and the two brawled there.
In the meantime, Biff was doing
a great job with Gunloc. When Hillsman came over, Biff whipped him
from pillar to post as well. With both All-Americans on the floor,
Biff grabbed the mic to do a little taunting.
BIFF: You two like that? Hey, if taking you two on is going to be this easy on Saturday, you two might as well not show up.
Biff tossed the mic at Gunloc and Hillsman and then left for the back. But before he could make it there, Gunloc had something to say.
GUNLOC: Hey, Biff. You've got some wiring crossed up there. I said that it would be you taking on me and my partner. As in my partner that evening. It isn't Hillsman. You're in for something else, Slamkovich.
Not Hillsman??? What?
Who could Gunloc find to team up with him?
Of all the people that need
to know, Biff Slamkovich is probably number one on that list.
Another mystery appearance at
Secrets? Or is Gunloc just bluffing? Secrets gets more and
more confounding by the second.
We went to commercial, and when we came back, Nick Jones was in the StB dressing room.
JONES: I'm here with the five members of Simply the Best. Guys, I'm wondering how the search is coming?
CLARK: Search? Oh! Oh, for Terry Sky. Oh yeah. Um, I've been looking around... earlier, you know. Couldn't find him, so I'm taking a break.
JONES: ... Rick, weren't you supposed to find him? Isn't that what Saul Masters told you to do?
CLARK: Jones, let me tell you something. Saul's a nice guy, but he's a bit paranoid sometimes. There is no way in hell that Terry Sky would try anything tonight. The man is a cowardly, back stabbing yahoo who... What's that noise?
JONES: From the hallway? I don't know. Probably not important.
A loud thump came from the hall. It sounded like somebody was banging on the door. That, or they banged on the door once.
CLARK: Monica, can you be a dove and get that? Thanks. Now, as I was saying, Sky is nothing be a yahoo...
MONICA: Rick?
CLARK: What?
MONICA: It's not working.
CLARK: Did you remember to turn the doorknob, hon?
MONICA: Ha ha! No, Rick, serious. There's something... I can't push the door open.
Cody and Ron Grayson each went to the door to try and help out. A consensus was reached.
GRAYSON: It's stuck.
Another camera was outside the
dressing room. There was a dumpster pushed up against the door...
AND TERRY SKY WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE!!!
Terry Sky had trapped StB in
their dressing room! And he was on the way to the ring!!! The
camera briefly went back to the StB dressing room, where we saw StB trying
to push the door open, but to no avail! It wasn't budging!
We went back to the ring...
Terry Sky was making his way to the ring! He sure as Hell isn't scheduled
to compete. He grabbed the microphone from ringside
SKY: Masters, if you're expecting StB to come get me, they're having some trouble opening the door, so it's just not going to happen. I know you're here. Get your ass down here, you little chicken sh*t!!!!
Sky wasn't messing around.
Realistically, if Masters did come down, it would be Terry Sky against
all of Major Force.
From the look on Sky's face,
you could tell that he just did not care!
SKY: Of course. Of course you're not going to come down here. That's how you work, isn't it, Saul. You can never face anybody straight up, because when it comes down to it, your balls are about the size of raisins. Am I right?
The crowd cheered once more. Sky was shooting on this one.
SKY: Maybe you can send down StB. I'll tell ya, Saul. They sure can cut a damn fine catch phrase, but you spent MY money on the wrong thugs, pal. That's right, you heard me. MY MONEY!!! You can try and be cute and deny it all you like, but we both know what the score is, don't we, Saul? Fact is that you're walking around with my cash, and I want it back! You listening, old man? Come on, Saul, where are you? I thought you were taking over.
A camera was in the back. Major Force was watching the TV screen. Grater and Kodiak seemed anxious to go after Sky. Skarzz stood behind Masters. Ghost was emotionless during the speech. Masters held everybody in check.
SKY: Thing is, a second rate manager like yourself couldn't take over a room full of first grade girls. You think you rank as high as guys like Sarge X and Extinct? On your best day, you could never achieve what either of them did. You're a wannabe in a fancy suit and you know it. Just look who you've surrounded yourself with.
Uh oh. Masters was being baited. Would he bite?
SKY: Ghost. The Pale Destroyer. He sure was a dominant champion for that week, wasn't he? He flashed brighter in the pan than most, but where is he now, huh? He's Major Force's bitch and you know it.
Backstage...
MASTERS: Stay here, Ghost.
GHOST: Saul, I find this too funny to even justify.
In the ring...
SKY: Or what about that big oaf Skarzz. It's got to be tough thinking for two people, huh? What, when you were raising the big retard, didn't you ever tell him "Now Skarzz, if you pick those, they're never going to heal."? Gotta tell you, Masters, he's turned out a lot like you. Except I'd say he's smarter.
Backstage, Skarzz stood there. Masters didn't tell him to attack, so he didn't.
SKY: Kodiak Marmoset. A guy so insecure that he had to rename his finishing move "The Big V". You know what, Kodiak? You can call your little kick whatever you want, but as far as I'm concerned, you're still "The Big L", the big LOSER!!!
The crowd started chanting "Loser" after that. Backstage...
KODIAK: I'm going to kill that bum.
MASTERS: No, you won't, Kodiak. Stay here.
KODIAK: He's ripping all of us.
MASTERS: He's also living on the streets. We will not justify the ranting of a bum.
Back in the ring, Sky was soaking in the chants. He had one more guy to go.
SKY: Oh, and we can't forget everybody's favourite red-headed step-child, can we? Alexander "The FRIGGIN' Grater!" A man who has made a career being second best. Hey, Al, how does it feel knowing that you could never get it done on your own, eh? The Platoon. The Doomsday Hunters. Now Major Force. Without any of those guys, you know exactly where you'd be, and that's flipping burgers for your fat momma back in Kentucky.
Backstage...
MASTERS: Stay calm, Alex.
SKY: You are the biggest no-talent piece of crap I have ever seen! If you didn't luck out and get drawn with Skarzz in the Wild Card tournament, you'd be jobbing out to Clepto the Clown and Rokuru. All you ever do is ride on other people's backs to success, because alone, you just can't cut it. If you had any guts, you'd come on down and put that North American Title that you stole from me on the line, and I'd take the belt and shove it up your fat ass, just like you like it!!!
Backstage...
MASTERS: ALEX!!!
Grater was on his way to the
ring!!! This wasn't going to be pretty.
Within seconds, Grater was in
the arena, charging towards the ring. Once he got in the ring, Sky
flattened him with a spinning heel kick.
The bell rang... WE HAD A MATCH!!!
SMWA North American
Title Match
Alexander "The
Grater" (C)
vs
Terry Sky
Grater had rushed into the ring
so quickly that he forgot one thing. As angry as he was that Sky
was ribbing him, he was facing a guy who has lost his money, his title
and a lot of his dignity. He was facing a man with nothing to lose.
That gave Sky a big advantage.
Sky used his speed and his feet
to his advantage, peppering Grater with a series of dropkicks and superkicks.
Grater finally managed to catch a kick to the midsection, but Sky nailed
Grater with an enzuigiri.
Backstage, Masters was shouting
to the rest of Major Force. They walked off, and from the sounds
of things, they were looking for StB. In the ring, a referee appeared.
This was an official match, now.
The smaller Sky was beating
the hell out of the massive Grater for the first few minutes of this match.
This is a new, hard edged approach for Sky, and damn if it wasn't working.
He was dominating one of the best big men the sport had ever seen.
Emotion finally got the better of him, though. Sky charged at Grater
one time too many and Grater flattened him with a spinebuster. Sky
hit the mat hard. Grater shook off the cobwebs and took control.
Grater tossed Sky around, using
his incredible power to his advantage. If Sky was moving, he was
dangerous. The only way Grater was going to let him move was if he
was flying through the air. He nailed Sky with a power bomb, picked
him up again and tossed him outside. That's where the brawl went.
Grater went wild outside, looking
for whatever he could swing. He found a timekeepers bell and nailed
Sky a few times. He then dropped him throat first onto the rail.
Grater rolled back into the ring, stopping the count, and then went back
outside. As Sky got up, Grater used his Asai moonsault! Sky
went down hard after that one.
Grater took Sky back inside
and continued what was slowly becoming a slaughter. The longer Grater
has the advantage, the more difficult it is to take it away from him.
Sky had been nailed by elbows, boots to the head and several slams.
Finally, after a big powerslam, Grater went to the second turnbuckle and
went for a flying elbow.
Sky moved. Grater got
up, clutching his arm. Sky staggered him with a superkick and then
took him down with a snap suplex. As if nothing had happened, Sky
went up top and dove onto Grater with a beautiful moonsault. He got
a two count.
Sky continued to move faster
than Grater, and Grater never knew what was hitting him. Sky was
flying with all the fury he could muster. Finally, though, he slipped
up. On a top rope move, Sky was hit by Grater and fell on the top.
Grater climbed up and grabbed Sky by the throat, taking him down with the
Death from Above!!! Sky hit, Grater went for the cover.

2...
NO!!! KICKOUT!!! It's amazing what Sky is doing this match.
Grater wasn't ready to give up the offensive, though. He used a few
suplexes on Sky, including a waistlock suplex that nearly split Sky in
two. Grater then put Sky in the corner and started planting elbows
to his head. He then ran back and charged in with the Tenderizer
elbow!
Sky got his boot up!!!
He charged at Grater and levelled him with a lariat. Grater got up
and was bodyslammed to the mat. Grater got up again and Sky nailed
him with a stiff superkick. Cover.
1...
2...
3NO!!! Grater got a shoulder up. That kick had found it's mark
in a big way. Grater definitely felt that. Sky went up top
and hit Grater with a beautiful flying dropkick. He then gave the
signal for the Lights Out!!!
The crowd burst into boos.
Somebody was coming down the aisle...
RICK CLARK!!! Major Force
must have moved the dumpster away from StB's dressing room, because Rick
Clark was making a line right to the ring.
Sky picked Grater up and planted
him with the Lights Out. Clark jumped onto the apron and Sky charged
after him. Clark jumped down to the floor. Sky left the
ring and the chase was on! Clark and Sky circled the ring a few times
before Clark rolled through the ring. Sky followed and was NAILED
by a lariat from Grater! The referee admonished Clark for his interference,
but it all seemed a bit too late at that point. Grater picked Sky
up in a vertical suplex, spun around and dropped him with the Doomsday
Tornado. Grater went for the cover.

Alexander "The Grater" pinned
Terry Sky with the Doomsday Tornado in 0:10:23.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Alexander "The Grater" retained
the SMWA North American Title.)
A great effort by Terry Sky,
but Rick Clark cost him. Those two are going to face off Saturday
at Secrets, and this is going to make that encounter all the more heated...
as if everything else they've been through wasn't enough.
Saul Masters made his way to
ringside as Grater continued to kick the stuffing out of Sky. He
walked by Clark. Our cameraman picked up Masters' comments.
MASTERS: At least you can do something right, Clark. GRATER!!! Get out of that ring NOW!!!
Grater heard, gave one last kick
and left. He had done what he wanted to do. Terry Sky had been
beaten.
Clark kept walking back to the
dressing room, but he had a look of disgust on his face. He wasn't
one to be talked down to.
Whatever Masters is paying him,
it has to be a lot. Otherwise, Clark would have kicked his teeth
in.
We took a final commercial and
returned in time for our...
Second Main
Event
Return Match
Mike Haggar
w/ Jessica Haggar
vs
Kodiak Marmoset
w/ Saul Masters
******** Cue Ring Announcer ********
RA: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a return match scheduled for one fall.
******** Cue Major Force's Music ********
RA: First... Being led to the ring by Saul Masters... Representing Major Force... From Mercer, Pennsylvania.... Weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds... The Kodiak Express... KODIAK MARMOSET!!!
The chant of Loser started up right about the same time as Major Force's music did. Ever since his losing streak, fans have found Kodiak obnoxious. Now that he's actually won a few big matches, he's even getting to be more so. Just the way he walked to the ring, yelling at some fans, spitting water at one section of the crowd, was enough to get under everybody's skin. Kodiak Marmoset is a hated man.
******** Cue Mike Haggar's Music ********
RA: And his opponent... Being led to the ring by his daughter, Jessica... He hails from New York City... He weighs in at three hundred and eight pounds... He is the former five time SMWA Heavyweight Champion of the World.... MIKE HAGGAR!!!
If anybody couldn't stand Kodiak
Marmoset beating him by countout two weeks ago, it was Mike Haggar.
Respect for an opponent is one thing. It's hard to respect a total
jerk. But Mike Haggar knows that Kodiak can be dangerous in that
ring. He wasn't approaching this match lightly at all.
We already saw Haggar fighting
off Major Force earlier tonight, as he defended his tag team partner for
this Saturday, World Champ Jack Slade, against a vicious beating... although
the beating was almost over. He'd have no trouble being motivated
to kick Kodiak's butt.
As soon as Haggar got into the
ring, Kodiak jumped him. Our main event was underway!!!
Kodiak made the same mistake
he had in Haggar's last match - he tried to brawl with Haggar. That
is a battle that you just don't win. Haggar fought back rather quickly
and Kodiak was kissing canvas after a big lariat.
Haggar's size and power were
his biggest advantages early on. He kept picking the smaller Kodiak
up and dropping him with atomic drops, piledrivers and other moves.
Kodiak was suffering under the full weight of Mike Haggar's assault, but
this kid is tough. He came away from the beating with enough energy
to nail Haggar with a spinebuster, allowing him to regain control in the
match.
Kodiak pushed the advantage
while he had it, managing to lift the three hundred pound Haggar up for
a spinning power bomb. He followed up with a splash and went for
the cover. A one count. Haggar, too, wasn't ready to go down
for the count. Kodiak went for a flying clothesline, but Haggar ducked
down and plastered Kodiak on the top ropes with a modified hotshot.
Haggar then lifted Kodiak up and hit him with a power bomb. Two count.
Haggar tossed Kodiak to the
ropes and went for a lariat. Kodiak stuck Haggar with an elbowsmash
and then climbed onto the apron. He hit Haggar with a springboard
rana.
Neither man was able to get
any sort of edge in this one. The most either guy could muster would
be a two move flurry before the other guy responded with something else.
Haggar nearly knocked Kodiak's teeth out with a diving elbowsmash and then
took him down with a vertical suplex. Kodiak used his speed and followed
up a springboard shoulderblock with a standing moonsault. Neither
man could get any sort of flow going.
In the late stages of the match,
Haggar managed to lock Kodiak in an armbreaker. He tried to force
the submission, but the referee was distracted by Saul Masters, who jumped
up onto the apron. Haggar released the hold and went after Masters.
Kodiak got up and, when Haggar turned, let the Big V fly!
Haggar ducked and Masters barely
avoided Kodiak's kick. Haggar when nailed Kodiak with a Tombstone
piledriver and gave the signal. Time to take Kodiak for the ride!
Haggar picked Kodiak up in piledriver
position, started to spin around, jumped into the air and planted Kodiak
with the Screwdriver!!! He went for the cover.

SAUL MASTERS BREAKS THE PIN!!! THE REF CALLS FOR THE BELL!!!
Mike Haggar defeated Kodiak
Marmoset by disqualification in 0:10:53.
Rating: ** 3/4
Mike Haggar got up and went after
Masters. He grabbed Masters by the collar...
And the rest of Major Force
stormed the ring!!! Skarzz hit the first shot, an elbow to the back
of the head. Haggar fell to the mat hard and was at the mercy of
Major Force.
Jessica Haggar couldn't stand
to watch. She ran to the back.
Haggar did his best to take
Major Force down, but he didn't have much of a chance. The numbers
were too great, and the men involved were too powerful. Haggar began
to crumble.
A camera followed Jessica Haggar
in the back. Where was she going?
Skarzz held Haggar open for
a shot from Saul Masters. Masters used the hard handle on the but
end of his whip and nailed Haggar in the head. Skarzz then picked
Haggar up and hit a chokeslam. Masters then grabbed the ringside
mic.
MASTERS: Take your time, Slade. We don't need you out here, too.
In the back, Jessica Haggar found what she was looking for. Jack Slade, with an icepack on his head, was watching the beating from the back.
JESSICA: Jack!
SLADE: I know what you're going to ask. No.
JESSICA: Oh, come on!
SLADE: Like he didn't take his time saving my ass.
JESSICA: Of, for God's sake, don't be so stubborn.
SLADE: Don't tell me what I can and can't do, Jess. You and Mike have survived so far. I don't see why tonight should be any different.
JESSICA: It's different because Major Force is going to take him out! Dammit Jack...
SLADE: Am I just supposed to walk into a trap?
Ghost picked Haggar up off of the mat and nailed him with the Final Breath.
JESSICA: He needs you as much as you needed him earlier. Do the right thing here, Jack, or you're going to be all alone on Saturday.
SLADE: .... I hate it when you're right.
Jack Slade tossed the icepack
on the ground and ran towards the ring.
Major Force continued the beating.
Kodiak had locked Haggar in a Texas Cloverleaf as the rest of Major Force
laid the boots into Haggar.
Jack Slade made his way down
the aisle, a steel chair in his hands. Masters saw him coming and
ordered the troops out. Slade managed to connect with a swing to
Skarzz, but that's all he got. Major Force had left the ring once
again.
So, twice tonight, Saul Masters
has forced this grudging alliance into action. From the reluctance
of both men to get in the ring, you could tell they both resented helping
the other. Masters forced their hands.
Mike Haggar was slowly getting
up. As he was on his knees, he looked across the ring. Jack
Slade was standing there, not flinching.
Both men stood on opposite sides
of the ring, neither man looking too happy that the other was there.
In five days, these two have
to work together to take on Major Force, a stable with a secret that could
rock the SMWA down to its foundation. Can they keep it together?
