First, though, some unfortunate
news. King Rasta suffered some very severe injuries via Doomsday
on Monday Night Massacre. Along with a concussion, his collarbone
was broken in two places. His future in the SMWA is questionable
at the least, and it's not sure if he will ever be back.
The whereabouts of Bobby
the Monkey are unknown as of right now. Rasta did call from the hospital,
asking where his friend was. Thus far, he has been nowhere to be
found. Last we saw, he was going to some hidden figure on Massacre.
Who that man was, what his intentions were and why he was there are unknown.
Simply put, Rasta is out
indefinitely and Bobby the Monkey is nowhere to be found. If anything
develops, we'll let you know.
Let's get to the action.
Handicap Match
Doomsday
w/ Extinct vs The California Kid and Lovechild
It's become a game of one-upsmanship
between Extinct and Saul Masters.
Monday night on Massacre,
Extinct and Doomsday did what Saul Masters never could. They took
King Rasta out of the SMWA. Skarzz then proceeded to beat the Hell
out of Johnny Proton, but stopped short at crippling him. For Masters,
the power lay in letting Proton go.
Tonight, Doomsday would
take on two cruiserweights at the same time.
The one-upsmanship continues.
Cal and Lovechild really
looked quite lost as Doomsday made his way down to the ring. They
aren't a regular team and they both had the look of lambs being led to
slaughter. Doomsday stepped onto the apron and the team argued as
to who would start off. Lovechild got the "priveledge"
Lovechild has succeeded
somewhat in the cruiserweight ranks by overpowering his opponents.
Here, that was not any sort of option. He tried to grapple with Doomsday,
but the Green Monster wasn't selling. Lovechild went for a go-behind
and Doomsday bloodied his nose with a stiff elbow shot. Lovechild
got up and charged Doomsday, but found his throat in the clutches of an
angry monster. A choke slam put Lovechild onto the mat.
Cal jumped into the ring
and tried his luck. He had none. Doomsday kicked him in the
stomach and hit a spinning power bomb. Lovechild took advantage of
the distraction and clipped Doomsday's knee from behind. Doomsday
stumbled but did not fall. Lovechild then tried a flying cross body
press off of the ropes. Doomsday just stood there as Lovechild bounced
right off. The Kid staggered up and went for a dropkick and Doomsday
was still just standing there. Nothing was phasing him.
Desperate, Kid and Lovechild
teamed up with several double team moves. A double dropkick had no
effect. Neither did a double lariat. The Kid tried to get behind
Doomsday in a schoolboy type move. Lovechlid bounced off the ropes
and hit Doomsday with a shoulderblock. Doomsday clubbed him with
a roundhouse right and then left his feet... so he could sit down on the
Kid.
Lovechild took the brunt
of the attack from that point on. Doomsday whipped him from pillar
to post. Putting him on the top turnbuckle, Doomsday connected with
the Death from Above chokeslam. Picking Lovechild up, Doomsday hit
the Armageddon.
The Kid was still fighting
and he hit Doomsday with a clothesline from behind. As Doomsday turned
around, the Kid went up top and went for a flying cross body.
Doomsday caught him and
planted him on the mat with a powerslam. He made a very easy pin
and the massacre ended.
Handicap-Match:
Doomsday defeated The California Kid and Lovechild
when Doomsday pinned C. Kid after a powerslam in 0:03:59.

Extinct grabbed the mic from ringside. He climbed into the ring beside his charged and let Masters know what he was thinking.
Extinct: See that. Two men at once. TWO. You think Skarzz is that good, Masters? Even if he is, he won't have to worry about two men. He'll only have to worry about one. Doomsday. A man who will destroy....
The crowd cheered as Doomsday ripped the mic away from Extinct. It looked like the Green Monster had something to say.
DOOMSDAY: SKARZZ!!! I WILL BEAT YOU AT NEW YEAR'S SMASH! THESE TWO... THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE THE BEATING I COULD GIVE THEM!!! THEY ARE BENEATH ME!!! YOU, SKARZZ, MUST PROVE YOURSELF WORTHY VERY SOON!!! PREPARE FOR ARMAGEDDON!!!
Doomsday threw the mic to the ground as Extinct looked on, confused once more. Was Doomsday developing a mind of his own? Or had Extinct just held him back that long? Either way, the Green Monster looks - and sounds - ready.
We went to a commercial and returned to see a
little bit of video footage. Footage of William Riley winning the
World Title in 1975. Why were we showing this?
Because the son of the first ever SMWA World
Champion was going to be wrestling next. Martin Riley was making
his debut. For it to be successful, he'd have to beat Grant Redstone.
It won't be easy.
"Big Oz" Grant Redstone vs "Bonecracker" Martin Riley
It can never be easy to start your wrestling career
under the shadow of a legend. It's especially not easy when your
first opponent is a big angry Australian who can suplex you pretty much
any way he pleases. If nothing else, though, Martin Riley has the
training. His father was one of the last great wrestling hookers
and used his skills to sit atop the SMWA for a long while. If he's
passed any of it along to his son, then Martin Riley should be a force
to be reckoned with.
If nothing else, Martin would show us a lot in
this, his first pro match.
The young Riley tried to negate Redstone's edge
in power early on, using a ground offense not at all unlike that of his
father. Riley applied several old style submission holds, even using
a stump puller, in an attempt to wear Big Oz down. It was working
for a while, but Redstone managed to get to his feet while Riley had him
in an armscissors. In one motion, Grant nailled him with a modified
back suplex, causing the release of the hold.
Redstone started the tossing, using a couple
of belly-to-belly suplexes before hitting a vicious Exploder suplex, nearly
making Riley's pro debut a very short one. Redstone then went for
a gutwrench suplex. Riley countered with one of his own. Before
Redstone knew what was happening, Riley had hooked on a Cobra Clutch and
was trying to put Redstone out.
Redstone was caught in the middle of the ring
and his strength was ebbing. He used what little strength he had
to get to the rppes, but just as he stuck his arms out to grab the top
rope, Riley grabbed his arms and locked on a variation of a surfboard.
Redstone was inches from the ropes. Riley had his arms, so Redstone
could not grab them. Desperately, Redstone tried to crawl on his
knees to put his head on the middle rope. And before he could even
do that, Riley grabbed one arm and hooked on a Triangle Choke. Redstone
was feeling all sorts of pain, but the Triangle Choke had put him in a
position where he could inch his way to the ropes. Riley broke the
hold.
Redstone got to his feet and quickly tackled
Riley to the mat, then peppering him with lefts and rights to the head.
He picked him up and went for the Redstone suplex, but Riley countered
with a knee to the midsection. Riley used a drop toe hold to take
Grant down and then hooked on an achilles tendon lock. Redstone again
struggled to reach the ropes. Once he made it, Riley released the
hold but continued work on Redstone's leg with several dragon screws and
kicks to the knee joint. Redstone finally wobbled to his feet, only
to be taken down by a belly-to-belly suplex. Riley pressed on and
hit a Dragon suplex for a near fall. Riley was rolling.
After several more minutes of mat work, Riley
went for the kill with a German suplex. Redstone avoided it with
several elbow shots and then countered with a go-behind and a German of
his own. Redstone went to work.
Side suplex. Tiger suplex. Soviet
suplex. Vertical suplex. Slingshot suplex. Redstone Suplex.
1, 2, 3!
Welcome to the SMWA, Martin Riley. Meet
Grant Redstone.
Grant Redstone pinned Martin Riley with the
Redstone suplex in 0:12:27.

As we marvelled at Redstone's late match domination, we went to a commercial. On our return, Nick Jones was backstage with the SMWA Cruiserweight Champion, Johnny Proton.
Jones: Hello, fans. I'm Nick Jones and we're all hoping that you've enjoyed Saturday Night Slam Masters thus far. We've got more exciting action to come, but first we have an interview with one of the SMWA's top young stars. I'd like to say hello to the SMWA Cruiserweight Champion, Johnny Proton. Welcome, Johnny.
Proton: Thanks for having me here, Nick.
Jones: Now, Johnny, I'd like your comments on a few things. First, briefly, how are things between you and Kodiak Marmoset?
Proton: Well, Nick, you saw what happened on Saturday. And you saw what happened on Monday. Saturday, I lost it on Kody, and I don't think that's what he really needed. But he pushed me pretty darn far in that match, and I was done with it. Maybe you can call it "tough love" or something like that, but I didn't think I had any choice. I wasn't thinking. And, obviously, Kody wasn't happy with it. Well, I can't spend any more time on this right now. I've got a title to defend and challengers lined up to take me on. Kody, I'm here if you need me, but it's got to be your move.
Jones: Alright, then, on to tonight. Now, already, we've seen Doomsday dominate two Cruiserweights in short order. In our main event tonight, you'll be facing off Skarzz. Skarzz is a monster and you know he can do to you what Doomsday has done to King Rasta, Lovechild and The California Kid. It's you and Skarzz, one on one. How are you going to handle it?
Proton: Nick... I asked for the match. I wanted Skarzz, and that may seem stupid to a lot of people, but I have my reasons. See, I'm a nice guy. I've always tried to be and will always keep trying to be. The only problem with being a nice guy is you get stepped on... a lot... a whole lot. I don't like to have to get agressive, but I will. See, I've never been a big guy. I used to get picked on, bullied. But I didn't let it get to me. If a guy started pounding on me, I wouldn't just roll into a little ball, you know? As nice of a guy as I am, I will fight back. Skarzz and Saul Masters tried to use me as an example on Monday Night. They tried to hurt me to prove a point to somebody else. Well, tonight, I'm going to prove a point to those two. I might win, I might lose, but either way I'm going to show Skarzz that I'm not just some guy who's going to get beat on. I'll fight back. And if people think that I don't have a chance tonight, well, maybe I'll prove something to them.
Jones: Johnny Proton with some confident words. It's Proton vs Skarzz tonight in our main event. Back to you, John.

Toughman Title Contest
The
Flying Scotsman (C) vs "Shadowfire" Naga Yajito
Sure, Naga Yajito has become the vassal for Teioh.
He's been up against some tough men and made it to the finals of the Toughman
Tournament at Proving Ground. He's a dangerous martial artist and
a great wrestler. But could he stay standing after a shot from the
Flying Scotsman?
We would soon find out.
Round 1
A formula for Flying Scotsman
Toughman bouts seems to have developed. Within the first 15 seconds,
the opponent would be knocked down. After that, it would be another
ten seconds before the opponent would go down, staying down for a much
longer amount of time. Then, in that 40 to 50 second mark, the Scotsman
would hit a big shot and win by TKO, usually knocking his opponent out.
Insert the name Naga Yajito
into that formula, and you know how this match ended.
Toughman Contest:
The Flying Scotsman defeated Naga Yajito via
first-round technical knockout at the 00:40 mark.

Championship.)

After another commercial, we returned for a little
bit of tag team action.
The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine vs Fuerza Dragon
Years ago, The Philadelphia
X-Treme Machine were a big, terrifying team in a terrifying funk.
They could beat everybody except for the SMWA World Tag Team Champions,
the Super Powers at that time, and then began to slide away from title
contention. One man brought them not only to a level of respectibility,
but also the SMWA World Tag Team Titles. That man was Extinct.
The same man who dumped
this team on their rear ends a few weeks ago.
Fuerza Dragon were the
team that ended the PXM's most recent title reign, and it's been somewhat
of a slide ever since then. Tonight would be a big match for both
teams. For the PXM, it would be a chance to stop the slide.
For Fuerza Dragon, it would be a chance to get back to championship level.
Which team would rise to
the challenge?
The PXM started this match
out quickly, isolating Dragon de Hielo and working him over with various
double team moves, including the trademark PXM double launch slam, a move
that almost led to a very quick victory. Battle and Burnz had far
too much power for Hielo and the first few minutes of this contest were
no contest. Finally, Hielo got some breathing room when Burnz spilled
outside after a missed spinning leg lariat. Hielo quickly bounced
off the ropes and hit a no hands somersault drop to the outside, taking
Burnz down. Quickly, Hielo came into the ring and tagged Fuego.
A house a fire (so to speak),
Fuego took it to both PXM members with a variety of martial arts maneuvers.
The advantage was short lived, as Battle hit a big lariat to the back of
the head, taking Fuego down and giving the PXM the advantage once more.
Battle let loose a blood curdling cackle, ready to take Fuego out.
The PXM continued their
double teaming, basically bullying the smaller Dragon around, not letting
him get any sort of an advantage in the match. Battle planted him
with a hard tilt-a-whirl slam. Whipping Fuego to the ropes again,
Battle tried to repeat the move. Fuego used a spinning headscissors
to counter. Battle got up, but Fuego locked him in a rolling kneebar.
Burnz came into the ring and broke the hold, but Fuego was quick to respond
with a savate kick and a power bomb.
Hielo came into the ring,
and the match became very even at this point. Double teaming was
the order of the day. The encounters were one on one for mere seconds
before tag team partners would storm the ring. The Dragons hit the
PXM with double suplexes and a beautifully synchronized double tope to
the outside. Burnz and Battle mixed up the power and the speed to
keep their edge in the match. The PXM pressed their advantage, and
Burnz found himself on the top ropes, ready to hit the 3rd Degree.
Hielo was ready, and he ducked. Quickly, he tagged Fuego. In
mere seconds, Burnz was flattened by the Double Dragon! Battle came
into the ring, but Hielo tied him up with a Frankensteiner. Fuego
made the pin.

The Dragons did it again!!! And the PXM
weren't happy. Battle got up and floored both Dragons with lariats.
Burnz got back to his feet and joined in the beating. Both members
of Fuerza Dragon were then recipients of the Philadelphia Back Breaker!
Battle and Burnz had lost, but they weren't looking
like losers at the end of the match. These teams might be seeing
more of each other in the future.
After another commercial, we returned for more
action.
Cody Simmons vs Lantern
Cody has been a prominent member of Simply the
Best, but not the most successful one. Still, though, he's hungry
and looking to get back into TV Title contention, a title he may just have
been cheated out of at Thanksgiving Thunder when Jack Flap made a questionable
call on behalf of West Bronco. Lantern hasn't had a great record
as of late and needs something to get back into the Cruiserweight Title
picture. A win here would be greatly appreciated by either man.
Lantern showed up first, entering to his usual
flashes of lights here and there. Cody came next and, as he entered
the ring, he grabbed the mic. He had something to say.
Cody: Don't worry, Glow Worm, I'll get to you soon enough. But first, I've got a message for a certain COW-Boy! Hey, West Bronco. TV Champ. At Thanksgiving Thunder, you got damn lucky. That TV Title should be mine, but no, you got by with a little help from your fat friend Jumbo. Well, you don't get off that easy, buddy. I'm throwing down the challenge right now. You and me, New Year's Smash, TV Title. Stop poking cows, cow poke, accept the challenge and realize that I am Simply the Best, I'm an asshole, and proud of it!
Cody had just challenged the TV Champ to a rematch!
But first, he'd have to get past Lantern, who was none too happy about
Cody holding up the match. Lantern hit Cody in the back with a dropkick
to the back and the match began.
Lantern used his speed to his advantage early,
staying away from Cody, making sure that this match wouldn't turn into
a street fight, a battle which Cody would win. Lantern dazzled the
street fighter with lucha moves before locking on a sleeperhold.
Cody wasn't going to give. He managed to loosen the hold with a few
stiff elbows before taking Lantern over with a shoulder throw.
Cody went to work with a few rights and lefts
and then hit Lantern with a big DDT for a near fall. Cody kept Lantern
grounded with quick jabs and body shots. For the rest of the match,
Lantern's offense was fairly limited. He just couldn't stay away
from the fists of Cody. When Cody wasn't punching, he was using basic
high impact wrestling moves, like back suplexes and bulldogs. Finally,
Cody put an end to what was becoming a slaughter. He whipped Lantern
to the ropes and hit him with a knee to the midsection, following it up
with three body shots, two left jabs, a right cross, a kneelift and an
uppercut. As Lantern began to fall, Cody hit him with a legsweep
takedown and went for the pin. Lantern had come to a Dead End.
Cody Simmons pinned Lantern with the Dead End
in 0:12:16.
Rating: * 1/4
Cody had dominated Lantern for over ten minutes
before deciding to do him in. If nothing else, he was ready for Bronco,
who would likely answer Cody's challenge later on tonight.
We went to commercial and returned for a backstage
interview. Nick Jones was going to talk to Chad Hillsman.
Jones: Folks, welcome back to Saturday Night Slam Masters. You just heard Cody Simmons challenge West Bronco to a TV Title match at New Year's Smash, and we hope to have an answer to that one before we leave the air. However, another match has been made for New Year's Smash - a Gulag Death Match. Maybe the War of the Super Powers will finally come to an end in this closed steel cage where the only way to win is to complete incapacitate one of your opponents. With me right now is one of the participants in that match, "The All-American" Chad Hillsman. Chad, thanks for being here.
Hillsman: Nice to be here, Nick.
Jones: Well, it was about this time last year when your feud with Zangief really started. In fact, it was only about a week ago last year when Zangief's mother passed away.
Hillsman: And what a tragedy that was, Jones. The commie lost his mommy.
Jones: You really don't have any remorse for him.
Hillsman: I have remorse for those who deserve it. I have remorse for all of our good american boys who've lost family members. They deserve my pity. But when an interloping commie bastard like Zangief loses somebody and blames me, I have no remorse. He wouldn't have had to miss that flight if he had just stayed in Siberia where he belonged.
Jones: Well, Zangief seems to want to bring a bit of Russia back home to you with this Gulag Match of his. What are your thoughts on that.
Hillsman: I think it just goes to show why Russia will always be two or three steps behind the USA. He wants to get even, so he decides to show his true colours and rip off a match from everybody's favourite dictator. You trying to glorify the Gulag, pal? That just proves to me that you have no business being here in the USA, you facist bastard. And I'll question your logic, too. The rules are give up or go till you can't go no more. You think I'm going to give up to scum like you? You think Gunloc is going to give up to that Uke partner of yours? You don't know what you're dealing with, Zangief. Come New Year's Smash, I'm going to send you back home singing the Star Spangled Banner and making apple pie for the hookers and gangsters back home. Long Live the American Empire!
Jones: Chad Hillsman, folks. Back to you, John.
"Titan" Tim Redbury vs The Actor w/ Clone
Titan seems to have been a forgotten man in the
singles scene since losing the North American Title to Ron Grayson.
The Actor has been out of title contention for a while. Even though
both men had something to gain from this match, it didn't figure to be
much of a challenge for the Titan.
However, what looked to be a squash was made
somewhat interesting by Actor's latest... costume.
Actor came out with a pair of long, silver trunks
with purple trim. He had an atom on the right side of his tights.
These were Johnny Proton's tights. Proton
had just come off a feud with Kodiak Marmoset. The Actor's partner,
Clone, was now feuding with Kodiak.
You figure it out.
The match started and Titan barely had time to
mount an offense before Clone charged into the ring and clobbered him with
a steel chair and tossed him over the top ropes. End match.
Oh, and Clone was dressed like Kodiak Marmoset.
Let the silliness begin.
Titan Tim Redbury defeated The Actor by disqualification
in 0:00:29.
Rating: 1/4*
Ronnie Acton quickly pulled the chair away from
Cloniak Marmoset. Ronnie started to cry and stuck out his hand for
a handshake. Cloniak spat on him and starting punching him.
As entertaining as this was, Titan wasn't impressed.
Unknown to F-X, he got into the ring and waited for them to turn around.
As they did, Titan floored them both with lariats and the two spilled outside.
Clone may be ready for Kodiak, but he better
not get anybody else involved in this feud. One angry Kodiak is all
he needs to deal with.
We went to another commercial and returned for
a TV Title match.
SMWA Television Title Match
West Bronco (C) vs "El
Viajero de Ano Dos Mil" BC-2000
Before this match started up, Nick Jones had word from backstage.
Jones: Fans, we'll have the TV Title match for you in just a few minutes, but I have an announcement to make. I talked to West Bronco during the break and, although he didn't want to do an interview, he has accepted Cody Simmons' challenge for New Year's Smash. So, add it to the card. West Bronco vs Cody Simmons for the TV Title. But that is if West can get past BC-2000 right here tonight! Back to you, John.
Bronco and BC-2000 were
ready in the ring. Bronco dominated early on, brawling BC-2000 into
little pieces. Systematically, the dominant TV Champ started taking
the luchador apart. However, a Tombstone attempt came too early and
BC-2000 managed to reverse the move into a gutwrench. He tossed Bronco
into the ropes and then took him over with a lariat. BC-2000 then
hit with a beautiful Super Quebrada that took both men out.
In fact, the move hit so
hard that neither man was moving. Bronco had taken most of the impact
and it looked like he had smashed his head into the guardrail, but BC-2000
had also taken a hard hit and was having trouble getting to his feet.
The ref counted....
And reached ten!
Shockingly, we had a double countout!
BC-2000 and West Bronco battled to a double
countout in 0:03:04.
Rating: * 1/4
(West Bronco retained the SMWA Television
Title.)
Wow! Bronco, still undefeated since August,
has had some troubles against the Cruiserweights. First, it was Dragon
de Hielo taking him to the limit. Now, a surprise double count out
to BC-2000.
What's going on?
BC-2000 and Bronco did get up on their own power
and were able to walk away, which is good news, to say the least.
We went to a commercial and returned for a Cruiserweight
vs Heavyweight match which, hopefully, will go a little bit longer.
Ultimate Spider vs "Iron" Rod Emerson
The Air Raiders are going on to New Year's Smash
to face off against Highland Hell for the SMWA World Tag Team Titles.
They got that shot by beating Steelworks in a shocker at Final Breath.
The victories have come at a cost to El Stingray. He is currently
nursing a leg injury and almost didn't make his match at Final Breath.
However, the injuries haven't cost the Raiders too much, as Ultimate Spider
has more than stepped up to the front to take command of the team.
He wrestled brilliantly last Saturday to give the Air Raiders the shot
at NYS. Tonight, he'd have to fend off a man who is a hundred pounds
heavier and has years of experience.
And he'd have to do it with El Stingray recuperating
at home and with Andrew Marshall hanging around ringside.
Spider would be in tough.
Spider tried to grapple with Emerson early on,
but Emerson was too big and powerful. With an arsenal of bodyslams,
suplexes and lariats, Emerson controlled the early going. Spider,
in what seemed to be a luchador theme tonight, was having trouble taking
to the air. Emerson decided to help him out. He picked him
up over his head, held him high in a Gorilla press and threw him outside
to the floor. As the ref warned Emerson, Marshall got his shots in
and levelled Spider with a lariat.
Things were not looking good.
Spider climbed onto the apron, where Emerson
went for a vertical suplex. Spider poked him in the eye, making Emerson
reel back. Quickly taking advantage, Spider used a springboard DDT
to take Emerson down. It would be the first in a series of springboard
moves. Spider connected with a springboard dropkick, a springboard
axhandle followed by a faceslam and a springboard legdrop to finish it
off. He went for the cover and got a two count. Spider kept
up his flying assault and Emerson seemed too off balance to be able to
do anything about it. Emerson went spilling outside where Spider
attempted a plancha.
Emerson caught the Cruiserweight and smacked
him against the ringpost. Spider winced in pain as he fell to the
ground. Emerson took the advantage again, planting Spider throat
first on the guardrail before tossing him back inside. Emerson kept
the pressure on with several submission holds which Spider barely survived.
Then, as if toying with Spider, Emerson let loose a flurry of lariats,
waiting for Spider to get to his feet each time before knocking him back
down. Spider was laid out on the ropes and Emerson went for another
lariat.
Spider ducked and Emerson spilled hard outside.
Spider gave the crowd a look and began to wave his arms around in the air.
He bounced off the ropes, jumped outside and became a human blur as he
hit Emerson with his infamous Flying Tarantula Dive! Emerson went
down fast, and Spider tossed him back in. Climbing up top, he waited
for Emerson to turn around. When he did, he was met by two feet in
the face as Spider hit a beautiful missile dropkick! Emerson hit
the mat and Spider ran to another turnbuckle. He jumped to the top
rope, jumped off, turned in mid air and hit a flying headbutt. Going
for the win, he hooked the leg.

Marshall charged into the ring, but Spider was
already out! He had just beat one of the old greats of our sport,
and it was a victory out of nowhere. He'd have time to savour it
before he and Stingray took on Highland Hell at New Year's Smash.
We went to another commercial and returned for
the Saturday Night Slam Masters tradition....
SMWA Luck of the Draw Match
We came back from commercial and immediately heard
the furious guitar sounds of the theme for Alexander
"The Grater", our first participant in this
match. Grater has been a part of the Luck of the Draw before, losing
by countout to Dragon de Hielo. It will be interesting to see who
he is put up against.
A deep, dark orchestral
sound then blared over the speakers and the arena became very dim.
Shadow Maxx would
be the opponent. Maxx sustained one of his early SMWA losses in a
Luck of the Draw Match against Jack Slade.
This would be an interesting
matchup. Two powerful men with the ability to go airborne, and both
men can definitely brawl. This one would be a fight.
Our match began with Grater
jumping Maxx on the outside, quickly taking advantage by powerbombing him
through the timekeeper's table! Maxx was stunned and Grater took
full advantage. He rolled him into the ring and went for a quick
cover. Two count!
Grater kept on using his
power inside, taking Maxx down with a thunderous side suplex before nailing
a big elbowdrop from the second turnbuckle. Maxx was then choked
on the mat and beaten up by a relentless Grater. Al wasn't wasting
any time. He tossed Maxx outside and waited for him to get back in.
Maxx climbed onto the apron
where Grater was waiting for him. He attempted to suplex him in,
but Maxx blocked it. He reversed the suplex into the DARK BOMB!!!
FROM THE APRON!!! Both men were OUT!!!
The ref checked on both
men, lifting their arms. Neither man moved. He started his

Whatever positive heat Major Force had build during their war with the Doomsday Hunters evapourated when they targetted Mike Haggar, and it showed with the reaction that Skarzz recieved tonight. Nobody was cheering for him. Skarzz was not popular.
******** Cue Van Halen's "Dreams (remix)" ********
R.A.: His opponent... From Baltimore, Maryland... Weighing in at two hundred and twenty seven pounds... He is the SMWA Cruiserweight Champion of the World... JOHNNY! PROTON!
Proton recieved a thunderous
ovation. People genuinely like this guy. He doesn't try to
be a nice guy when he goes to the ring - he is a nice guy. He's also
one of the most exciting young superstars the SMWA has seen in a long time.
His recent battles against Kodiak Marmoset have proved that Johnny Proton
has great star potential in the SMWA.
However, he could lose
it all by fighting Skarzz. Skarzz could end Proton's rise tonight.
Johnny isn't fighting for a win so much as he's fighting for his life.
The bell rang...
Proton and Skarzz stood
in the middle of the ring, Proton looking up at the threatening black mask.
Skarzz didn't flinch. To his credit, neither did Johnny. Skarzz
started things off by pushing Proton into the corner. Johnny stepped
away from the corner as Skarzz charged in and locked him in an armbar.
However, that didn't work. Skarzz grabbed Johnny by the hair and
tossed him to the mat. He tried to get up, but Skarzz kicked him
square in the face and started the beating.
Proton couldn't hurt Skarzz,
but Skarzz could destroy Proton, and he was on his way. He kicked
Proton around the ring like a doll and then locked his mighty hands around
Johnny's throat and tried to squeeze the life right out of him. Johnny's
eyes bugged out of his head as he futilely tried to escape. Skarzz
picked him up and hit a choke slam. He didn't go for the cover.
He wanted to have fun.
After several minutes of
punishment, Proton managed to get some offense going. Skarzz whipped
him into the ropes and attempted a lariat, but Proton ducked and rebounded
with a diving elbowsmash to the chest. Skarzz shrugged it off, but
Proton wouldn't let that faze him. He hit Skarzz with two dropkicks
which managed to stagger Skarzz a bit. Proton kept flying around
the ring, and though he couldn't take Skarzz down, he was able to stagger
him. It would only be a matter of time before the big tree fell.
However, Skarzz had other
ideas. He took a Proton lariat and then grabbed Johnny by the head,
driving his face into the mat. Johnny got back up and was in obvious
pain. Skarzz kicked Proton in the head and went back to work.
Skarzz started using his
power again, dropping Proton with a back suplex, following that up with
a power bomb. Looking for a submission, Skarzz locked on a clawhold.
Johnny was losing consciousness
fast. Skarzz had him in the middle of the ring, so a rope escape
wasn't going to happen. He'd have to fight his way out.
Against Skarzz.
Oh boy.
Johnny began to fade and
the ref checked his arm. It dropped once, twice... the third time
it stayed up! Johnny began to kick Skarzz in the shin, trying to
break the hold. Finally, Skarzz let go. Johnny went for
a drop toe hold, but Skarzz wouldn't go down. He decided he'd break
the move and drop an elbow on Johnny's head. Tired of the beating,
Skarzz tossed Johnny outside. Saul Masters made sure there would
be no breather, kicking Johnny in the ribs.
Proton slowly regained
his feet and got back into the ring. Skarzz went for a lariat, but
Proton ducked. Skarzz turned around and was met by a Proton Kick!
Skarzz wobbled and Proton hit him with another one! A third Proton
kick took Skarzz down to one knee. Proton quickly climbed onto the
top ropes and went for a flying cross body press.
Skarzz caught Johnny and
powerslammed him to the mat.

NO!!! Kickout!!!
Skarzz wasn't done.
He picked Proton up by the legs and began to swing him. Giant Swing!
Skarzz spun around the ring a good eleven times before dropping Proton.
It took Skarzz seconds to regain his senses and he made another cover.

NYEO!!! Kickout!! Proton still had plenty of gas in the tank.
But Skarzz was still pressing.
Skarzz picked Proton up
again and hit him with a piledriver. That would do it.

3NO!!! KICKOUT!!! Johnny needed to stay down. Skarzz
wasn't going to let up.
Skarzz picked Proton up
and went for a Yakuza kick. Proton ducked and wrapped his arms around
Skarzz' waist. Quickly, he used a Northern lights suplex.

NO!!! Proton almost had it! But as he got up, it was obvious
he had hurt his back. He couldn't capitalize on taking Skarzz down.
Skarzz, on the other hand, wasn't going to let one move take him out of
the match. He sat up and picked Proton up onto his shoulder.
He went to the corner and connected with the Skarring!!! That had
to be it!

in 0:16:23.
Rating: ***
Proton had put up a great fight, but Skarzz wouldn't have any of it. He went to pick Proton up again after the Skarring...
******** KABOOM ********
DOOMSDAY!!! Doomsday
was coming down to the ring! Skarzz dropped Proton to the mat and
waited for the Green Monster to arrive.
And we went off the air....
