November 28th, 1998

A mere two days removed from the most astounding SMWA pay per view in recent memory, we are not slowing down the pace.
We have tag team action as Fuerza Dragon faces off against the dynamic Air Raiders and Steelworks takes the challenge of F-X.
In a battle of the big men, Grant Redstone takes on Nord Fullstrom.
The Flying Scotsman defends his Toughman Title against Blackhook.
Lantern will vie for the Television Title, facing the still unbeatable West Bronco.
Sky Entertainment Ltd. is in attendance, with Ron Grayson ready to make yet another one of his "big" announcements.
And, in our main event, former SMWA Television Champion King Rasta faces off against the elder statesman of Simply the Best, "The Rebel" Jerry Kent in what will be a preview of their BattleCrash qualifier match on Monday Night Massacre..

But first, a squash match. Ghost, hot off of taring apart the PXM yet again last Sunday, would face off against the very same man he fought in his SMWA debut, Judgement, cold off his sorry performance in the Rolling Thunder match.

Ghost w/ Saul Masters vs Judgement

Ghost came to the ring first, looking none to happy about facing Judgement in the opening match.  He didn't even bother to take off his duster and sunglasses.  He stood fully clothed in the ring, waiting for his opponent.

Judgement barely had time to walk in the ring as Ghost drove his head into the mat with a powerful DDT. Ghost picked up Judgement, kicked him in the stomach, and delivered the Final Breath.

What, you were expecting an Iron Man Match?

Ghost pinned Judgement with the Final Breath in 0:00:09.
Rating: 3/4*

Ghost picked Judgement up and tossed him from the ring.  Ghost has always had a vicious side, but he never looked as pissed off as he did tonight.  Saul Masters entered the ring as Ghost was handed the mic.  His words were cold, calculating and sharp.

"The Flying Scotsman.   Alexander "The Grater".  Doomsday - twice.  The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine - twice.  Judgement - TWICE!!!  I've beaten the best that this federation has had to offer, and months after, what do I have to show for it.  Nothing!  Not even one title shot.  Maybe it's because I don't play politics.  Maybe I'm not a poster boy for the trendy and mundane.  Or maybe people like Jack McCullough worry about how hard it will be to get a belt off of my waist."

Ghost wouldn't raise his voice.  He stared directly into the camera, his red sunglasses betraying absolutely no emotion at all.

"It's very sad that, only now, I see how things are done in this "Association".  You don't earn things here.  I don't know how you get things here.  I worked my way to at least a Television Title Shot.  At least a North American Title Shot.  But I'm not going to even waste my time on those belts.  Do you think I need to spend my time beating on a Cowboy or a blundering corporate idiot?  No.  There's one man, one belt I want."
"Mike Haggar, I'm calling you out.  You claim to have guts.  Well, if you'd like to show them to me, I'll be waiting for you on Monday Night Massacre."

Ghost then ripped the sunglasses from his face.  His eyes burned with rage.

    "Don't disappoint me, hero...."

With that, Ghost dropped the mic and left the ring, Masters in tow.

Mike Haggar vs Ghost on Monday!  I don't think it's even a question of if Mike Haggar will accept.  It's the anticipation of seeing the most dominant man the SMWA has seen in ages confront the greatest World Champion of all time.

    Monday...

What else is going to happen tonight.

We took some commercials and then came back for some luchador action.

Teknos vs BC-2000

BC-2000 has been a virtual unknown since breaking up with IS-2000, ending one of the most exciting tag teams in the SMWA. Teknos may not be quite as hot as he was when he won the Cruiserweight Title, but he is still a force to be reckoned with.  What might be working in BC-2000's favour is that Teknos must still be sore after his part in the Rolling Thunder match Thursday night.

BC started this match out with kicks of fury, knowing what a win over Teknos would do to his floundering career. He plastered the favorite with a flying spin kick, then picked him back up and drove him into the mat with a DDT and a quick cover. Not even a one-count. It'd take a lot more than that to take out Teknos.
BC-2000, undaunted, executed a huricanrana into a cradle. One, tw-kickout. Teknos was still far from finished. Going back to his playbook, BC-2000 attempted another huricanrana...
Teknos countered with a vicious spinning power bomb, setting off the biggest pop so far tonight.
With BC-2000 stunned, Teknos locked on a half-Boston. BC was writhing in pain for some 30 seconds, and the crowd started to get bored. Teknos, always the good worker, let go of BC's leg and practically flew to the top rope.  He then jumped off, driving his elbow to the inside of BC-2000's thigh. Teknos saw a weakness developing, and for several minutes, he capitalized on it.
BC hung on, and slowly got to his feet after a Teknos inverted atomic drop.  He tried to walk... and fell over on his face. Teknos was ready for this, and was waiting on the top turnbuckle. As BC hit the ground, Teknos hit a perfectly-timed Teknospinner, landing on the small of BC-2000's back. He turned BC over and that was all she wrote.

Teknos pinned BC-2000 with the Teknospinner in 0:09:20.
Rating: ***

BC-2000 had his moments, but was no match for Teknos.  The Teknodor looks to be ready to get back into the Cruiserweight Title swing.

We went to break and returned for what would be an interesting tag team match.

Steelworks vs F-X

As the home viewers saw a few Thunder clips, we had to wonder if anybody be ready for this match?  Andrew Marshall recieved a Lights Out on the floor this Thursday at Thanksgiving Thunder in the historic Rolling Thunder Match.  Emerson recieved a Scottish Slam down a flight of stairs, putting him in the hospital for observation for an evening.  Clone once again beat Kodiak Marmoset but nearly had his legs pulled out of their sockets by him after the match.  And the Actor's pride recieved quite a licking as he was stripped down to his skivies by Jack Slade.  Thursday had taken it's toll on all four men.

Marshall came to the ring with bandaged ribs, his left arm wrapped in a cast and big racoon circles underneath his eyes, the result of his broken nose.  Clone came to the ring with a slight limp and a black eye.  Actor came to the ring fully clothed.  Thank God for that!

Marshall started the match off for the Steelworkers and dominated from the get go.  The Actor and Clone just couldn't match his power.  Clone usually has an answer for everything, but Marshall was tossing him around like a child.  A big inverted power bomb sent F-X outside to regroup.  When regrouped, Clone was the victim of an inverted atomic drop and a lariat.  Marshall tagged Emerson, who tackled Clone to the mat.
Clone quickly got up, hopping on one leg.  His knee had buckled under the Emerson tackle and Clone needed out.  Unfortunately, the Actor didn't fare too much better.
The rest of this match was very one side.  Only the Actor's impressive mat skills kept him in the match.  Clone gave his partner a few minutes of domination after smacking Emerson with a chair, but it was still mostly Steelworks for this bout.  Emerson hit The Actor with a big piledriver and then made the tag back out to Marshall.
Clone tried to stagger into the ring, but Marshall clipped him with another football tackle.  This time, Clone went down hard.  The Actor was alone with two men.  There wasn't really anything to do.  As his partner lay hurt in the corner, Emerson and Marshall hit Actor with the Dream Killer.   That was all she wrote.

Steelworks defeated F-X when Marshall pinned The Actor after the Dream Killer in 0:13:12.
Clone tore his right calf muscle. He will be out for approximately 5 cards.
Rating: ** 3/4

From the looks of things, the injuries to Emerson seemed more cosmetic than anything else.  But Clone was HURT!  He tried to get to his feet but had trouble standing.  The Actor helped his partner back to the dressing room.
Kodiak hurt Clone bad this Thursday.  He was probably smiling someplace.

We went backstage, where Nick Jones was with the "Teddy Bear of Destruction", Rokuru.

    JONES:  Rokuru...

ROKURU:  TEDDY WILL DO ALL OF HIS TALKING IN THE RING.

With that, Rokuru sped off.  Okay....

The California Kid vs Rokuru w/ Teddy

The Teddy Bear of Destruction vs Early 90's Surfer Dude. Should prove to be interesting.  Rokuru needs this win to get back on the Cruiserweight Title track and to prove that he's worth something to Sky Entertainment Ltd.  A win here would be big for Cal.  Well, any win would be big for Cal...

Cal came out swinging before the bell, getting a short-lived upper hand on Rokuru. He paid for it, as Roku instinctively countered with a Frankensteiner, connecting with several punches after landing. CK managed to slip out and in a moment's notice, locked on the California Deathlock!
Rokuru's nose was being tweaked to an inhuman size, and he kicked Cal off before any permanent damage was done. The Kid rushed in with a flying dropkick, but Rokuru stepped aside and slammed him down, following up with a series of vicious stomps to his opponent's face, as if trying to ruin CK's nose in return. Good thing about California is there are a lot of plastic surgeons there.
The match then turned into an even exchange of punches and mat holds.  Rokuru got the advantage when he hit a vicious Yakuza kick.  But Cal still had a lot of fight left.  He got up, slipping behind Roku and hitting a back suplex.  He then went to the top rop and hit a 450 splash from out of nowhere!
    Then Cal made a mistake.
Looking to gloat, CK climbed the turnbuckle and gave his infamous "Surf's up dude!" salute to the crowd in attendance.   The celebration was cut short when Rokuru got up, grabbed CK by his arms and hit a vicious Niagara Driver to knock the surfer dude out.
Smiling broadly at Teddy, Rokuru picked up his fallen opponent and hit a well-executed brain buster for the cover and the three-count.

Rokuru pinned The California Kid after a brain buster in 0:09:20.
Rating: ** 3/4

Rokuru quickly ran outside and grabbed the microphone.  He then walked over to Teddy, put him on his shoulder, and the two stood in the middle of the ring.

ROKURU:  You know, Teddy, a lot of people have asked me just why we decided to join Sky Entertainment Ltd.  Since it was your idea, maybe you should tell them.

    TEDDY: ....

ROKURU:  I know.  And wait until tonight.

    TEDDY: ....

ROKURU:  TEDDY!!!  Ron told us not to say a thing!!!  NO!!!

    TEDDY: ....

ROKURU:  You can NOT say that on TV!!!!  You just gave away the whole secret, and were very, very rude about it!  We are LEAVING!!!  No, don't argue.

    TEDDY: ....

Well, that was bizzare.  But it appears as if Grayson's announcement is going to be big.
    Teddy said so.

We went to commercial and then showed some clips from Thanksgiving Thunder.  Most notably, clips of Alexander "The Grater's" missed Asai moonsault and Zangief's botched Gorilla Press slam.  Both men were injured, but there is good news.  Grater managed to escape with a strained knee and a dislocated shoulder, but nothing more.  Zangief's neck also held up very well, considering Gunloc fell on it.  Both will be ready to go for their BattleCrash qualifier on Monday Night.

The four qualifying matches on Monday will be Zangief vs Grater, King Rasta vs Jerry Kent, Shadow Maxx vs Doomsday and Skarzz vs Gunloc.  The winners will go on to our next Slam Masters event to vie for a World Title shot.

But that's Monday night.  Next, wer had some TV Title action.

SMWA Television Title Match
West Bronco (c) vs Lantern

Lantern hasn't been winning much lately, but he hasn't been looking bad in his losses, either.  But Bronco has just been dominant.  I again bears repeating that he has not lost a match since the summer.  An amazing run, and the TV belt is proof of that.
Bronco was a bit sore from Thursday's Rolling Thunder Match, but he was more than prepared for Lantern.

Bronco simply overpowered Lantern in the early going.  He took to working his neck early with a reverse neckbreaker, a spinning neckbreaker and a faceslam.  The Tombstone is lethal anyway, but if your neck is hurt, you have no chance of getting up.  Knowing this, Bronco tried to hit the move early.  Lantern managed to block the move, but he again found himself on the mat courtesy of a bulldog.
Lantern needed a big move to pull even and found it in the form of an enzuigiri.  Bronco was then dazzled by the lucha skills of Mexico's Shining Light.  Lantern would not let up in his assault.  He hit a beautiful handspring bodyblock that took Bronco down for a near fall and dropped him on his head with a backdrop driver.  Lantern kept up the assault, taking to the air.  A flying spinning leg lariat nearly took the Arizona native down for the count.  Lantern then ran off the ropes to deliver a clothesline.
Showing his own agility, the two hundred and sixty pound Bronco hit Lantern with a beautiful rana.  The match went back and forth at this point.  Bronco tried for another bulldog, but Lantern countered with a back suplex.  He climbed to the top turnbuckle to deliver a moonsault as West stood up.
Lantern leapt onto Bronco, but Bronco caught him...in perfect Tombstone position.
    Mexico's Shining Light was dimmed.

West Bronco pinned Lantern with the Tombstone in 0:08:16.
Rating: * 3/4
(West Bronco retained the SMWA Television Title.)

The dominant TV Champ rolls right along.  We went to a commercial.

Grant Redstone vs Nord Fullstrom

In the interests of stability, Grant Redstone needs this win and needs it badly.  He dropped a big triangle match at Thanksgiving Thunder, a match won by Shadow Maxx when King Rasta simply walked out of the ring.  This was after Redstone had been pinned.
Fullstrom played a large role early on in the Rolling Thunder bout, saving Titan Tim from a triple team trap of Sky Entertainment.  He needs to capitalize on that small achievement with a win here if he wants to advance at all in the SMWA.

The match started with each of the big men testing the other's limits.  Redstone gained the upper hand with a big belly to back suplex after Fullstrom missed a right, and the suplex-fest began.  Belly to belly, fisherman's, side suplex - Redstone was taking it to Fullstrom.  When Redstone ducked his head, Nord managed to hit a double underhook powerbomb.  The move had no effect and Redstone floored Fullstrom with a release Tiger suplex followed by a flying elbow.
Redstone didn't seem to want to go for a pin in this match.  Instead, he displayed his vast suplex arsenal to the audience.  But he didn't go for the cover.  Fullstrom may be on a slide, but he's smart enough to take advantage of arrogant mistakes.
Redstone tossed Fullstrom into the corner.  Big Nord came out and nailed Redstone with a vicious Nordic Hammer.  Redstone had the wind taken out of him and the ref counted.
    1...
        2...
NO!!!  Close, very close.  Redstone was shocked and clearly on the defensive.  He made a desperate grab for the Redstone suplex, but Fullstrom merely brawled Grant off.  A still winded Redstone was not allowed to catch his breath.  Fullstrom kept beating on Big Oz.  The match spilled to the outside, where Nord succeeded in busting Redstone open.
The rest of the match was an even if uninteresting brawl.  Fullstrom maintained his upper hand.  Looking to put Redstone away for a big upset, Fullstrom ran off of the ropes with the Battle-Axe Kick.  Redstone ducked, grabbed Fullstrom and dropped him with a waistlock suplex.  He made a quick, desperate pin.

Grant Redstone pinned Nord Fullstrom after a waistlock suplex in 0:18:22.
Rating: * 3/4

Grant Redstone was lucky to escape with that one and he knows it.  This big man could have a bright future in the SMWA.  He just has to do a better job capitalizing on his opportunities.

We returned from our commercials to see yet another clip - when Rokuru planted the Ultimate Spider onto the concrete with a Roku Driver after a bad dive by Spider.  Spider was taken to hospital.  Fortunately, Rokuru didn't hit the move as well as he could have.  Spider escaped with a concussion, and his neck was sore, but that was about it.  Either way, he'd have to suck it up for our next match.

The Air Raiders vs Fuerza Dragon

The Air Raiders are hot, Fuerza Dragon needs a win to stay in contention.  The winner of this match would be a contender.  The losing team...not so much.

Ultiamte Spider, injured neck and all, started off this high-flying tag team match quickly with a jumping DDT to Dragon de Fuego, followed by an Asai moonsault.  Spider then locked on a headscissors submission for some 15 seconds. He let go, and ran into the ropes.  He didn't notice that Hielo had raised his boot to the top rope.
Spider was hit right in the neck.  He howled in pain, and it looked as if he had been re-injured.   Looking to get out, he stumbled foward and dove to the ground, tagging El Stingray's outstretched hand.
From there, it was all Stingray. Fuego tried desperately to tag his partner, but was promptly stomped into the mat by the angry Mexican. He threw the hapless Dragon into the ropes, and hit a spinning headscissors.  Keeping his legs locked around Fuego's neck, Stingray started to pound away. Stingray was none too pleased about Hielo's cheap shot, and he was making his partner pay the price. He picked up his rag doll of an opponent and hit him with a series of powerful kicks, then took him down with a spinning DDT. He turned around and ran into Hielo with a spin wheel kick, knocking him to the mat. Stingray sensing the end, leapt to the top rope and hit the Superstar Press for the win.

The Air Raiders defeated Fuerza Dragon when Stingray pinned Hielo with the Superstar Press in 0:03:22.
Rating: ** 1/2

Stingray got up and quickly checked on his partner.  Spider was a bit shaken and in obvious pain, but he seemed to be okay.
All those injuries from Thursday are already taking their toll.  What's going to happen when Zangief and Grater get in the ring on Monday?

No doubt, you must be a tough man to wrestle in the SMWA.  Speaking of which....

SMWA Toughman Title Bout
The Flying Scotsman (c) vs Blackhook

Really, it's mostly a matter of finding somebody who can knock the Scotsman down.  Few have been able to and it doesn't look like anybody will.  Scots has dominated.  Blackhook is a tough, tough man, but he'd have to come up with something special to take this bout.

First Round:

Blackhook didn't show us anything special.
Damn, this didn't last long. Scots came out swinging, nailing Blackhook with everything in his arsenal. Thirty seconds later, Blackhook was soaked in his own blood and the ref stopped the match, giving the quick win to the Flying Scotsman.

Toughman Match
The Flying Scotsman defeated Blackhook via first-round technical knockout at the 00:32 mark.
(The Flying Scotsman retained the SMWA Toughman Championship.)

To Hook's credit, he didn't go down.  But he was not in good shape.  Scots had busted him up really bad really quickly.
Hook went back to the dressing room as the rest of Sky Entertainment Ltd. came to the ring to congratulate the Scotsman.  Grayson and Sky were also there.  We were all waiting for Ron Grayson's big announcement.  A commerical was taken, the announcement was forthcoming.
But Terry Sky wasn't about to just let it happen.  Mic in hand, he started off.

SKY:  Grayson, I know you've got an announcement...again.  Something really big and earth shattering...again.  I'm sure it's the greatest night in the history of our sport, or something trite like that, but before you open that yap of yours, I need to ask you where the HELL you get off!?!

Ron Grayson looked confused.  He had brought along his own mic for this occasion.

GRAYSON:  Well, Terry, I'm Director of Personel and as such...

SKY:  That is not what I am talking about and you damn well know it.  I expect you to come out here and make stupid descions.  What I did not expect was you leaving the arena on Thursday night in the biggest match Sky Entertainment has ever had, jumping on a plane with that little piece of ten dollar trash Monica there and leaving that overweight moron who talks to an overweight stuffed bear as your replacement!!!

Rokuru grabbed the mic from Grayson.

    ROKURU:  Teddy says...

SKY:  I really don't give a damn about what your stupid bear says, fatty, so shut up!  Now, Ron, the way I see it, somebody around here is dragging this company down.  Somebody here is costing us big time.  Somebody's ass should be fired.

Grayson had reclaimed the microphone.  With a sad look on his face, he started talking.

GRAYSON:  In a way, I'm relieved you feel that way, Terry.  It's very big of you to admit that you can no longer run this company.

SKY:  I wasn't talking about me, stupid.

Grayson was pissed off, and he let Sky know it.

GRAYSON:  Well, you can't mean me, Terry.  If it weren't for me, where would you be right now?  Hm?  Look!  Look at this North American Title.  The same Title you couldn't even come close to winning.  The same Title you lost a million of the companies dollar's trying to win!  I'm dragging the company down?  I'm the only thing keeping this company afloat.  If it weren't for me, if it weren't for guys like Clepto and Rokuru, and if it weren't for Monica, who can do a lot of things for ten dollars but still couldn't help you win any Title in the SMWA, NOBODY would care about Sky Entertainment Ltd.

SKY:  The only reason people cared about us, Grayson, is because you turned our roster into an absolute laughing stock.  You know why we couldn't beat the Raiders?

GRAYSON:  Because YOU had no idea what to do!  You kept throwing our regular guys at them.  Titan's a smart guy.  Smarter than me, even.  He knew how to beat them.  He couldn't figure out how to beat me and Monica, though.  We schooled his big ass.  What did you do?  You dropped pretzels on him.  You tried to hurt him with a snack food, Terry!  A snack food!  Why didn't you just try to strangle him with cotton candy!?!

SKY:  I don't know.  Maybe I could have sent a CLOWN after him.

GRAYSON:  Sure, make fun of an injured Clown.  You know everybody in this audience wants Clepto back again.

An immediate wave of boos passed through the crowd.

GRAYSON:  I beat Tim Redbury.  I softened him up for you.  And you couldn't win.  You could not beat him.  The Raiders have won this war, Terry, and it's all your fault.  And Daredevil Productions does not tolerate failure amongst it's employees.

Sky took a step back.  A look of complete distain and furious anger crossed his face.

SKY:  What did you just say?

The remaining members of Sky Entertainment Ltd. crowded around Ron Grayson.

GRAYSON:  I said "Daredevil Productions".  Sorry, Terry, I'm going to have to drop you from the company.  This is a coop of sorts.

    SKY:  A coup, idiot.

GRAYSON:  Same difference.  We're downsizing.  And now, it's time that my Daredevils downsized you!  Get him, boys.

Sky backed into the ropes as his former troops approached him.  Highland Hell lead the way, with Judgement, Dark Angel, Mauling Bear, Hashimuto and Rokuru in the rear.  Highland Hell struck the first blow.
Angus turned and clocked Dark Angel.  Hamish leveled Judgement and Mauling Bear with clotheslines.  The Scotsman hit Hashimuto with a vicious superkick and then superkicked Teddy out of Rokuru's arms.  Teddy flew outside of the ring and Rokuru followed.  Ron Grayson's jaw dropped as Terry Sky stood across the ring from him.  Grayson left the ring as Highland Hell tossed the remaining members of Daredevil Productions from the ring.  Sky was beaming.

SKY:  Grayson, you are SO predictable!  You think I didn't see this coming?  You go right ahead.  Take the goth, the judge, the Karate Kid, the Mauling Bear and the stuffed one.  I'll keep the talent.  There's a price on your head, Grayson.  And it's going to be collected by my Highland Hit Squad!

Highland Hell turned and gave Sky a cross look.

SKY:  Okay, we'll talk about the name.

Grayson had been humiliated.  His "well-planned" coup had been foiled.  Grayson tried to sulk back to the dressing room behind his men.
He was confronted by an SMWA official, who told him that he would be a part of our...

Luck of the Draw Match

Ron Grayson had once more been proven not so bright.  Now he had to wrestle.
And Highland Hell had not left the ring.  Neither had Terry Sky.
Fortunately, any fears of Grayson having to fight these men at this lowly point in his life were put to the side when the ring announcer announced that the German magician Gestalt would be facing off against Grayson.
But Sky and his "Highland Hit Squad" would not leave the ring area!
The match was going to be fought with some Scotsman and a millionaire watching on.

Monica did what she did best - she used her blatant easyness to distract Gestalt, allowing Grayson to get an early advantage.  Grayson dominated, taking his hapless foe to the ground with a variety of moves.  However, Sky and the Highlanders figured in soon enough.  Hamish pulled down the ropes while Grayson was running and Grayson spilled outside.  Gestalt, seeing his opportunity, climbed up top.
Monica met him near the turnbuckle.  She yawned, arched her back, stretched and bent over.  Gestalt was somewhat distracted.  Grayson saw this and punched him in the stomach.  Gestalt fell on top, where Grayson hit him with a belly to back superplex back inside.  Looking to finish it quickly, Grayson hit Gestalt with a Tiger suplex.

Luck of the Draw Match
Ron Grayson pinned Gestalt after a tiger suplex in 0:06:00.
Rating: * 1/2

Grayson had won, but he still had the problem of getting back to the dressing room.  Highland Hell and Terry Sky weren't moving.  Grayson, seeing no other option, grabbed Monica and escaped through the crowd.
Ron Grayson and Monica are planning an escape.  You know, if Sky and the Highlanders really wanted to catch them....

We pondered what Monica and Grayson could possibly be thinking in some equally mind numbing commercials and returned for our...

Main Event
King Rasta w/ Bobby the Monkey
vs
"The Rebel" Jerry Kent w/ Rick Clark

******** cue ring announcer ********

RA: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with television time remaining.

******** cue StB Asshole Theme ********

RA:  Introducing first... Being led down the ring by fellow member of Simply the Best, "Tricky" Rick Clark... He hails from Nashville, Tennessee...  He weighs in at two hundred and fourty seven pounds... "The Rebel" JERRY KENT!!!

It was shocking to see Rick Clark with Kent for this match.  After his classic yet crushing loss to Mike Haggar on Thursday, you figure he'd be taking some time off.  Not the case, obviously.  He wants StB to be the best anyway possible - even if it means he has to publically sulk and be ridiculed by angry fans about his big loss.

******** cue Jungle Boogie remix ********

RA:  His opponent... Accompaignied by his friend and confidant, Bobby the Monkey.... From Venice Beach, California.... Weighing in at three hundred and ten pounds....  KING RASTA!!!!

Rasta came out to his huge pop.  One has to wonder how much the Shadow Maxx situation is on his mind.  He walked out on Thursday rather than pin Maxx, who was almost too eager to take the loss.
    Kent didn't wrestle on Thursday.
Though he did get in the face of "Jumbo" Jack Flap, who counted StB member Cody Simmons down in spite of the fact that West Bronco was pulling on Cody's jeans for leverage.
And Jumbo was the referee for this match.
Jerry Kent was a cranky old man.

Kent gave Jumbo a quick look and point, and our match was underway.  Kent schooled Rasta in the fine art of wrestling, keeping the Muscled Monkeyman down on the mat, wearing him down with various holds before taking him over in a vertical suplex.  Kent then went to chop Rasta few times.  Rasta would have none of that and he took Kent down with a bulldog.  Kent responded with a belly-to-belly a few moves later.
Surprisingly, these two excellent brawlers were chosing to wrestle.  Kent had the upper hand, but Rasta's power advantage served him well in the clinches.  Kent hit a bridging back suplex out of nowhere, but Rasta managed to kick out at two.
Kent complained about the count to Jumbo.
Clark jumped up on the apron to help Kent's argument.
Rasta, seeing everybody else distracted, hit Kent with a low blow.
Bobby the Monkey then got a piece of Clark on the outside, scratching his arm.  Clark was livid and he chased Bobby around the ring.
In the ring, Rasta was peppering Kent with shots to the head.  Jumbo was doing his best to get Rasta off of Kent.
Bobby ran into the ring, Clark followed.
Bobby ran through the legs of Jumbo.  Clark ran into Jumbo.
Jumbo noticed Clark running in to him.
    Jumbo disqualified Kent.

King Rasta defeated Jerry Kent by disqualification in 0:09:08.
Rating: ** 1/2

Simply the Best were livid!  Rasta hits Kent below the belt, let's his monkey run free and KENT gets disqualified.
Rasta left the ring laughing as Clark and Kent argued with Jumbo.
We went off the air with Kent and Jumbo arguing one more questionable call.

    See you on Monday!
