Tonight, we will see a ten man battle royal. The prize will be a heavyweight title shot on Monday.
Teknos vs Lantern
Teknos, riding a hot streak, was pinned by Lantern this Monday on Massacre in a tag team match. Not only would tonight be another Sky Entertainment Ltd. vs The Raiders battle, but it will also be a chance for Teknos to regain his momentum.
This match started in typical lucha style.
High spot, high spot, high spot. In a series that must have made
everybody dizzy, Teknos went for a spinning powerbomb, but Lantern countered
with a spinning headscissors. However, Teknos was quick to get up
nail Lantern with a spinning leg lariat and then a spinning toe hold.
Round and round we went...
It didn't take long for Sky Entertainment Ltd. to
come to ringside to lend "support" to their man. Of course, the Raiders
then wasted no time getting to ringside to lend their "support".
Lantern had escaped to the outside and was on the
run from Teknos. He quite litterally ran right into Titan...and bounced
right off. The ref saw this and admonished Titan, allowing Lantern
to hit a low blow to even the odds.
Lantern set Teknos up on a table and hit a senton.
He then rolled Teknos back into the ring and laid him out with the light
beam. He came VERY close to a win...but Teknos kicked out.
Lantern then climbed to the outside and went for
a springboard rana. Teknos caught him and power bombed him down.
The Teknospinner was all she wrote.
Teknos pinned Lantern with the Teknospinner in
0:15:34.

BC-2000 vs Naga Yajito
BC-2000 had just vanquished his tag team partner on Monday Night and was now ready to take on the best of what the SMWA had to offer him. And as far as cruiserweights go, there are few better than Naga Yajito.
Naga had this match from the start. BC-2000 couldn't get off the ground and just didn't have the mat accumen to match Naga. The Sunfire Stretch was almost locked on a minute in. Naga kept it grounded with some great mat wrestling and BC-2000 didn't have a clue as to what he could do. A few high spots were hit here and there, but in the end, BC-2000 was giving up to the Sunfire Stretch.
Naga Yajito made BC-2000 submit to the Sunfire
Stretch in 0:09:56.

SMWA Toughman Tournament - Quarterfinal
Match
"Iron" Rod Emerson vs Judgement
Again, Raiders vs Sky Entertainment...seems half of the cards work that way now.
Round One: Emerson dominated. He knocked Judgement
down, took him down and outslugged him. The first round was a little
embarrasing.
Round Two: Judgement won on punches...barely.
Round Three: Judgement was fighting much better,
landing a few punches here and there, but he still couldn't catch Emerson.
Round Four: Twenty six seconds in, Emerson
nailed Judgement directly on the nose. Judgement's nose started to
gush blood, obviously broken. The ref called for the bell.
SMWA Toughman Tournament - Quarterfinal Match
Rod Emerson defeated Judgement via fourth
round technical knockout at 00:35.
Rating: -*

The California Kid vs Ultimate Spider
These two young superstars, both eager to make names
for themselves, wasted absolutely no time. The Kid tossed Spider
outside and immediately hit a springboard moonsault plancha. The
move took its toll on both men, however. Spider got up first and
hit an Asai Moonsault on the Kid and then rolled him into the ring.
The rest of the match was high spot after high spot, and there was rarely
a time when both men's feet were touching the mat. The action went
back outside.
Spider went for a Tope Con Hilo, but missed.
The Kid then went for a moonsault, but he also missed. The ref counted
to ten as these two youngsters lay prone outside.
Ultimate Spider and The California Kid battled
to a double countout in 0:07:48.

Johnny Proton vs Clone w/ The Actor
At Back Street Brawl, we saw The Actor of F-X against Kodiak Marmoset, a newfound ally of Johnny Proton. Tonight, the players would change as Proton made his official SMWA return against the mighty Clone.
Proton took control early on with his speed.
Clone, who is truly a jack of all trades, can exploit the weaknesses of
his opponents but has a horrible time countering their strengths.
As long as Proton kept this match above the mat, he'd have a fairly good
shot at winning the encounter.
Proton kept the speed up, hitting a corkscrew plancha
and an Asai moonsault outside. Clone wasn't able to get anything
going until Proton tries a Frankensteiner. Clone powerbombed him
not just once, but twice. A little power gave Clone the lead.
Proton was far from done, though. He kept
at it and, in an almost desperation move, he hit Clone with a Proton Kick.
But as Proton leaned against the ropes to regain his breath, he had it
knocked out him by a chair shot from The Actor.
The ref called for the bell.
Johnny Proton defeated Clone by disqualification
in 0:12:28.
Rating: *** 3/4
Clone and the Actor double-teamed Proton until he
was saved...by Kodiak Marmoset.
There seems to be a little bit of helping going
on.
SMWA Toughman
Tournament - Quarterfinal Match
Blackhoook
vs Kenji Hashimuto
No longer a Sin, Blackhook was out on his own against Kenji Hashimuto. How would he do in our final Toughman Quarterfinal bout.
Round One: Kenji was more of the wrestler, while
Blackhook kept it at a brawl. He knocked Kenji down a few times and
beat him on punches. Kenji's takedown skills kept him in the match,
however. The round ended in a tie.
Round Two: Blackhook outwrestled and outpunched
Hashimuto, who was slow to respond to a lot of Blackhook's moves.
Round Three: That was it for Kenji. His feet
were already going out from under him. An early knockdown and then
two later in the round spelled his demise.

Blackhook defeated Kenji Hashimuto via third
round technical knockout at 00:40.

SMWA Television
Title Match
King Rasta
(c) w/ Bobby the Monkey vs The Flying Scotsman
The Flying Scotsman had dropped the TV Title to King Rasta scant days before Back Street Brawl. This was his chance to regain the belt.
The match was all brawl from the beginning.
Scots hit the first move with a big belly-to-belly, but Rasta was quick
to respond with an inverted power bomb and a running powerslam. The
match almost ended right there.
Rasta kept pouring on the power. Scots tried
to get dirty with a broom and a pair of brass knucks. Rasta took
both weapons away from SexyScots and made them his own. Rasta hooked
Scots in a German suplex and went for the pin.

GRANT REDSTONE yanks Rasta outside!!! From out of nowhere, Redstone grabbed Rasta and took him outside...but gave him the match by DQ.

(King Rasta retained the SMWA Television Title.)
Rasta and Redstone brawled at ringside. Shadow
Maxx came down and got involved, though nobody was sure who's side he was
on, as he was beat on as soon as he got into the brawl.
Rasta and Maxx paired off. Then, Redstone
was hit in the head with a broom.
It was thrown by the Scotsman.
"Hey, Redstone, you and that idiot Maxx have cost me and Hamish that belt! I'm a wee bit fed up with ya. Maybe you don't realize that Highland Hell is the best damn thing goin' in the SMWA today, but if that stupid Aussie my-mates-are-in-jail brain of yours can understand this, I want you and Maxx on Monday. I'll bring Hamish and an ass whoopin' for ya!"
Redstone pointed at Scotsman, smiled and said "See ya Monday, then!"
But will Maxx be there?
Luck of the Draw Match
The first name drawn was El Stingray, who apparently had returned a little earlier than expected from his neck injury. He was ready to go and eager to hear who his opponent was.
The music for Simply the Best started. Fans expected either Clark or Kent to come down that aisle any minute now.
Instead, they got a limping Cody Simmons - what will it take for this kid to stay in the hospital???
Stingray stepped back. He wasn't quite sure what to do. Cody looked in no shape to fight. He was battered, bruised and was now wearing tape around his ribs, probably a result of the attack by Jack Slade on Monday. He looked like he had been thrown in the middle of a ten car pile-up. It looked like he was going to forget about the match.
Then Cody slapped him.
And the match was on.
Stingray dominated. Cody was too hurt to keep
up with Stingray's blazing speed. He barely avoided a SuperStar press
early, nearly got knocked out with an enzuigiri to the back of the head
and was put outside with a clothesline. That, on top of many many
high flying moves, had Cody reeling.
Cody was able to land a punch or two, but Stingray
was able to dodge the majority. Cody landed on the outside again
and Stingray went for a tope.
Cody moved and Stingray crashed head first into
the guardrail. Cody took him inside and quickly hit the one-two-uppercut
combo for the win.
Luck of the Draw Match
Cody Simmons pinned El Stingray with the 1-2-Uppercut
combo in 0:11:33.
Rating: ** 1/4
As Cody celebrated, Jack Slade raced down the aisle and attacked him. Stingray tried to pull Slade off, but he got flipped right off of Slade's back...right on to Cody. Security and a medical team quickly took Cody from the ring, trying to avoid Slade's wrath as they did.
And now, Jack Slade was the first man in the ring for the top contenders battle royal.

Winner gets a World Title
Shot on Monday Night Massacre
Featuring Jack
Slade, Jerry Kent, Rick Clark, Shadow Maxx, Grant Redstone, Teioh, Clepto
the Clown, Ron Grayson, and The Actor
What an assortment of talent. Some of these men may
never get a title shot if they don't win this match. Others seemed
predestined to get a shot anyway...just ask Rick Clark, who jumped outside
the ring seconds into the match.
"You know what, I don't have to put up with this
bull. I've pinned Mike Haggar three times, and if there's any justice in
this fed, I'll get a shot. Jerry, you know where I stand and I'll
see you Monday Night when you have the title shot."
Rick Clark had just eliminated himself.
x Rick Clark removed himself from the match at 0:00:43
Well, now that that was over with, the match really picked up.
Grant Redstone was going crazy, hitting everybody. Jack Slade found Jerry Kent on many an occasion and proceeded to beat the hell out of him. The Actor found his old employer, Terry Sky, and beat the stuffing out of him. The ring was a powder keg. It would only be a matter of time before bodies started to fly.
Teioh was the first to go. He went for a high spot on Rick Clark, but Clark moved out of the way. He simply picked the Lord of Darkness up and tosed him over the ropes.
x Kent threw out Teioh after a flying somersault splash in 0:07:14
Grant Redstone continued his reign of violence, hitting everything that moved. He tried to hit Ron Grayson. Grayson moved. Redstone went over the top rope and hit the floor.
x Grayson threw out Redstone in 0:10:09
Terry Sky was all over Clepto, hitting him with whatever he could. Sky backed up and went for a superkick. Clepto ducked and Sky straddled himself on the ropes. Clepto laughed as he shook the ropes, and Sky fell outside.
x Clepto threw out Sky in 0:14:41
Jack Slade took it Clepto the Clown and was beating the heck out of him until Jerry Kent stepped in and hit him with a low blow. Clepto locked on the Spike Sleeper, but then just decided to toss Slade over the ropes.
x Clepto threw out Slade after the Oriental Spike in 0:20:47
Slade was again pissed as hell
and tried to get back in the ring at Kent. The referees and security
stopped him.
The Actor finally found Ron
Grayson, the man who booted him from Sky Entertainment Ltd. Maybe
he shouldn't have.
x Grayson threw out The Actor in 0:21:18
Four
men left in the ring. This Monday, Mike Haggar would either face
a Daredevil, a Clown, a Shadow or a Rebel. Which was it going to
be???
It wasn't going to be Clepto.
Grayson tossed Clepto into
the ropes and followed him over the top. But Grayson held onto the
ropes after delivering a clothesline and did a skin the cat back into the
ring.
Mike, no clown for you.
x Grayson threw out Clepto in 0:23:50
Shadow Maxx then jumped Grayson from behind as Kent sat down in the corner. Maxx went for a springboard move from the outside, but Grayson quickly countered, hitting Maxx with a flying back elbow. Out went Maxx.
x Grayson threw out Maxx after an elbowsmash in 0:24:21
Now, it was just a member of
Simply the Best against Grayson.
Kent and Grayson put on a
clinic. Each man exchanged finishers, but neither was able to dump
the other over the ropes.
The turning point came when
Grayson missed a moonsault. Kent picked him up to toss him outside,
but Grayson held on to the ropes.
Then, from out of the back,
Jack Slade rushed to the other side of the ring and guillotined Kent on
the top rope. Grayson, getting back into the ring, saw his opportunity...and
he took it.
x Grayson threw out Kent in 0:32:01
Ron Grayson won a 10-man Battle Royal:

Jack Slade left the ring with
a wicked look on his face.
Looks like Simply the Best
is under seige by the Cruncher.
