In Canada, it's a day for fireworks...but we got more than enough here!

Tonight's Massacre started with Extinct and the Doomsday Hunters coming down to the ring with a rather dejected looking Ron Grayson. Extinct, still upset at Ron Grayson's preventing of the beating of Andrew Marshall last week, told Grayson he had to prove himself loyal to the Doomsday Hunter cause. West Bronco was signed toface off against Jack Slade in tonight's main event. Extinct told Grayson to take his place. Grayson wasn't too happy, but realizing no explanation would be good enough for Extinct, he accepted.

Naga Yajito defeated IS-2000 by disqualification in 0:09:04.
****1/4
(Naga Yajito retained the SMWA Cruiserweight Title)

Great opening match. Again, the ground style of Naga against a high flyer gives results. IS-2000 came so close so many times, but when his partner tried to help, the ref called for the bell. Still great match and if things don't turn out for Los Viajeros at the Crash, you can bet IS-2000 will get a rematch for the belt.

Alexander "The Grater" pinned Nitro with the Doomsday Tornado in 0:12:40.
**

Hardcore action, Grater had Nitro overmatched from the start. The best part of this match was the ending. Grater had just pinned Nitro when West Bronco stormed the ring. Grater saw Bronco, chokeslammed him, and Bronco rolled out of the ring and ran away.

The Super Powers beat Teknos and Quasar when Biff pinned Teknos after the I.C.B.M. in 0:02:01.
**3/4

Biff and Gunloc arent playing. After destroying the luchadors, they called SMWA Comissioner Jack McCullough out and demanded the open Crash spot at Crash Carnival. The Commish told Biff and Gunloc that they had a strong case for the spot, but so did El Stingray, whose partner was the one who couldn't compete.

So, next week, a "playoff" will be held, as The Super Powers will face off against Titan Tim and El Stingray, with the winner filling the vacant Crash Carnival spot.

Titan and Stingray are far from a makeshift team...they're former champions and hold wins over the Powers. This should be an explosive battle.

[Revenge Match]:
El Stingray pinned Rod Emerson with the Superstar Press in 0:12:45.
***1/2

A shooting star press from inside to the outside. A bottle of beer. An interfering manager. El Stingray had never been so angry, and with good reason...Emerson's partner Pete McKee is the one who's responsible for the neck injury of Terry Sky. A determined effort by the little man took him to a win over Emerson and gained him a bit of revenge...and a bit of revenge for Terry...

Jerry Kent pinned Slash Battle with the Reb-driver in 0:05:35.
(Jerry Kent retained the SMWA Television Title)
****1/4

Old hardcore vs New hardcore faced off for the TV belt in a great match. However, Kent had a bit of help. Kent was trying to get the timekeepers bell from ringside, and with the ref focused on him, Los Viajeros Dos Mil entered the ring and hit Battle with the Crono Flipper, allowing Kent to pin him with the Reb-Driver just minutes later. Battle and Burnz then ran to the dressing room to try and find Los Viajeros.

Doomsday pinned Mauling Bear after a spinning power bomb in 0:00:08.
DUD

8 seconds. Doomsday is f'n AWESOME!!!

Zangief defeated Skarzz by disqualification in 0:06:57.
**

Zangief fought Skarzz in a building shaker between two seven foot monsters, but it too ended too early. Zangief and Skarrz hit each other with whatever they could find, and also used a few of their own high impact moves. But then Chad Hillsman hobbled down to ringside and smashed Zangief with a crutch as he had Skarzz set up for the Siberian Bear Crusher. The two assaulted Zangief and Skarzz hit his Skarring on the big Russian...outside the ring. It looked hopeless for Zangief until, surprise surprise, KING RASTA came down to save him. These two haven't EVER liked each other, but they seem to be willing to watch each other's backs. Heck, even Rasta's monkey got into the fight! With that brawl, Rasta then told Skarzz that if he wanted Bobby, he could have him...if he beat him at Crash Carnival...and if Skarzz loses, he MUST UNMASK!!! That could be very ugly.

Jack Slade defeated Ron Grayson by disqualification in 0:11:31.
**1/2

This match started slowly, Slade worried about Extinct at ringside and Grayson worried about pleasing Extinct at ringside. But it started to pick up at the 11 minute mark...but then was ruined.

Doomsday came in and attacked Slade. Being close to Haggar, Extinct has obviously decided that Slade was a good enough target for the wrath of Doomsday. Slade was dumped to the outside of the ring following a beating, where he grabbed a chair and proceeded to clear the ring. It took about three shots to the head on Doomsday to back off the big man. Then, Slade switched his focus to Grayson and was about to whallop him with the chair...

But Andrew Marshall kept Slade from hitting Grayson?!?! Instead, Marshall had Grayson leave the ring and teamed with Jack to dump Doomsday out of the ring.

Andrew Marshall and Ron Grayson seem to have formed a protection pact...neither man wants his Crash Carnival opponent hurt before the match in two weeks.

And Jack Slade is PISSED!!! He wants Doomsday NEXT WEEK!!!....ONE WEEK BEFORE CRASH CARNIVAL AND THE BIGGEST MATCH OF HIS LIFE!!!! What is this kid thinking?

And what will happen?

So, next week, it's Jack Slade vs Doomsday and Titan & Stingray vs The Super Powers to decide who fills the open tag team spot at Crash Carnival.
