More than a War Zone...Hotter than Nitro....It's time for a Massacre

Chad Hillsman's leg is currently being worked on by top surgeons after Zangief threw him through a car window last week. His involvement at Crash Carnival is doubtful, but it's damn impossible tonight. So, to fill his spot against World Champion Mike Haggar tonight, these ten men will face off in a battle royal:

"Jackhammer" Andrew Marshall
"Daredevil" Ron Grayson
Crusierweight Champion Naga Yajito
Akira Wan-Pai
Johnny Proton
The Great Oni
Skarzz
The Dream Team - Rod Emerson and Peter McKee
Rick Clark

Ten of the SMWA's best in one match. Hold on.

Managers Banned From Ringside:
Andrew Marshall won a 10-man Battle Royal:
x Akira threw out Yajito after a snap mare in 0:05:49
x Grayson threw out Proton in 0:07:39
x Skarzz threw out Akira after a waistlock suplex in 0:10:16
x Oni threw out Skarzz in 0:11:04
x Oni threw out McKee after a jumping side kick in 0:11:15
x Marshall threw out Oni after a diving shoulderblock in 0:13:51
x Clark threw out Emerson in 0:18:06
x Marshall threw out Clark after a reverse clothesline in 0:20:13
x Marshall threw out Grayson in 0:20:23
***1/2

The battle royal field featured 3 former cruiserweight champs, a former championtag team, an ex-TV champ, and a pair of former North American and World title holders. What a battle royal it was. Old foes Ron Grayson and Andrew Marshall found a whole lot of ways to get to each other...and found each other in the final four, along with Rod Emerson and Rick Clark.

Clark took Emerson, and then Marshall dumped Clark. And before Marshall could respond, Grayson tried for a flying leg lariat from behind.

Marshall ducked, sending Grayson over the top for the win.

It would be the young Jackhammer vs Mike Haggar.

Highland Hell beat Los Dragones when Hamish pinned Ice Dragon with the Scottish Slam in 0:10:27.
****1/4

Hamish Mactavish and Angus Wallace tonight proved that they can not only beat the competition, but they can put on a good match. Highland Hell is a team to watch in the future.

SMWA Television Title Match
Jerry Kent pinned Texas Chainsaw Massochist after a bridging back suplex in 0:08:16.
1/4*
(Jerry Kent retained the SMWA Television Title)

As hardcore as Tex and Kent are, Tex couldn't give Kent a good match to work off of. Still, Kent provided some entertainment when, after getting the duke, he told Slade he'd be "punching his clock" later on.

SMWA World Tag Team Title Match:
The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine and Los Viajeros Dos Mil battled to a draw in 0:30:00.
****1/4
(The Philadelphia X-Treme Machine retained the SMWA World Tag Team Titles)

Proof positive that THE BEST TAG TEAMS IN THE WORLD ARE SMWA TAG TEAMS! Burnz and Battle of the PXM dominated when the match went hardcore, but couldn't counter when IS-2000 and BC-2000 took to the skies. A draw was a disapointing but fitting way to end this even match.

At the end, tag team contenders SuperStars Inc. and The Dream Team came to ringside and another four way tag team brawl ensued. The brawl lasted into commericial and was finally broken up by officials.

Upon returning from commericial, Commisioner McCullough proclaimed that, next week, he'd have the solution for the problems in the tag team division.

Before the next match, Jerry Kent came down to ringside, with a stopwatch, and sat down at the announce table. Jack Slade and Nitro came down for their match, and when the bell rang, Kent started timing.

Jack Slade pinned Nitro after a flying cross body press in 0:10:55.
3/4*

Nitro, like Tex vs Kent, wasn't giving a good performance tonight. After the match, Kent grabbed the mic and told Slade "You're 2:39 behind my time earlier tonight. I guess it take the new generation just a bit longer, eh?" Slade left the ring and, with a genuinely concerned look, asked Kent if he could see his watch. Kent handed it to Slade, who promptly threw it into the crowd and walked away.

Kent tried to get into the crowd. It was a nice watch.

Titan Tim Redbury defeated West Bronco by disqualification in 0:02:20.
1/4*

For all the times West Bronco has ruined his chances at getting near Doomsday, Alexander "The Grater" decided to fight back, jumping Bronco in the middle of the match. Of course, the loss by disqualification didn't sit well with Titan. As Titan and Grater brawled, Bronco ran far and fast.

Time for the World Title Match. What will Mike Haggar's plan be if Doomsday decides once again to jump Haggar's opponent after the match. And with Marshall and Haggar being allies, it could get interesting.

Mike Haggar pinned Andrew Marshall with the Screwdriver in 0:23:26.
****1/4
(Mike Haggar retained the SMWA World Heavyweight Title)

WHAT A MAIN EVENT!

You have to wonder what might have happened if Marshall didn't have to go past 9 men in a battle royal. He came so close so many times, with a two and three quarters count after a reverse clothesline and a Jackhammer. Haggar nearly got the win early with a flying clothesline, but Marshall got out of it.

The end was a great one. Marshall went up to the top for a high risk move, but was nailed. Haggar dragged Marshaloff of the top rope, delivered his Screwdriver, and got a great three count.

Now that this great match was done came the moment that counted. If Doomsday held true to form, he'd come out and assault Haggar's fallen opponent and not touch Haggar (reminder---If Doomsday attacks Haggar before Crash Carnival, Doomsday loses his World Title shot) In a brave move which had the fans standing, Haggar posted himself in the aisle to the ring and waited.

And then there was an explosion. A big one.

Out came Doomsday, making his way to the fallen Marshall. Haggar wouldn't move. Doomsday wouldn't stop advancing. It looked like Crash Carnival would be now and not on the 31st.

Then, jumping in the middle of these two powerhouses was one man. Ron Grayson. Member of the Doomsday Hunters, sworn rival of Andrew Marshall. He was keeping Doomsday from Mike Haggar...and Andrew Marshall. Extinct obviously didn't want Doomsday taking a swing at Haggar...and Haggar was not about to let another opponent suffer a beating at the hands of Doomsday. But for Grayson to get involved was a true shocker, and it showed on the faces of Doomsday's manager Extinct and and Mike Haggar. The program ended with Ron Grayson standing at Mike Haggar's side, trying to make sure that his stablemate wouldn't make it to the ring.

What a bizzare ending.
