Lex Luger suddenly awakes in hotel bed. He's in a cold sweat and looks around nervously. Sting wakes up in the other bed in the room.
Sting: Bad dream Lex?
Luger: Yeah, horrible horrible nightmare. I dreamed I left for WWF for more money, they made me look like an idiot, I came back to WCW, Hogan came to WCW, horrible booking, you hung out in the rafters, WCW was in horrible shape, I got released and ended up in this crazy indy fueding with Meng. It was all so...real...
Sting: Yes no yes no yes no.
Luger: NO!!!
Sting leans out of the shadows to reveal he's actually Ed Leslie in Sting facepaint. Luger freaks and stumbles out of bed, hurridly undoes the locks on the hotel room, and opens the door...to find himself face to face with 911 who grabs him by the throat and chokeslams him through the bed. Leslie laughs like a maniac as the IHLW logo appears on the screen.

Commisioner Liller opens the show. He talks about XCWF and the very controversial scaffold match that nearly ended the careers of Chris Daniels and Devon "Crowbar" Storm, calling the match "f***ing stupid.". He talks about how Tajiri, Albert, Marvin, Lynn, and Sabu have all inked big deals but aren't getting abused except for fans chanting "sell out". Silverspoon just can't deal with the fact that he's running not only a dinky indy, but a dinky CANADIAN indy. Liller publicly offers EDGE to work out a talent exchange deal. Why EDGE? Cause WWF and WCW both suck while EDGE rules. He'd like to have a philosophical discussion with the Warrior too.

XCWF was another TNM-SF indy, run by Silverpoon. The details of the inter-indy feud here are lost to history. EDGE was a new minor wrestling federation filling the void left by the demise of ECW.
