December 1997. Starrcade. Bret Hart is now in WCW. Sting finally faces Hogan. And it all goes wrong: Nick Patrick botches a supposed fast count, Bret Hart comes out to demand the match be restarted, and Sting gets the win but then the WCW Title is subsequently held up because of the ending of the match. The downfall of World Championship Wrestling may have truly began that day.

But What If it had all gone differently? This WCW circuit goes back those fateful days in 1997 and seeks to write a better history than reality provided us. It begins with the Nitro after the World War III PPV.
