The nWo opens the show as usual. Buff talks smack about Davey Boy Smith and Jim Neidhart. He says that team is alot like Vicious & Delicious, except they are the old-and-busted leftovers from the 80s while Bagwell and Norton are the new hotness. Everyone makes promises: Hennig promises to end Flair's career, Nash promises to bring the US Title back to the nWo, Hogan promises to bring the World Title back to the nWo. Savage points out that alot of people are making promises and they better deliver.

Alex Wright cuts a promo before his match. He will outwit Finlay and get his TV Title back because brains and looks triumph over brawn.

Fit Finlay pinned Alex Wright after a flying headbutt in 0:13:53.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Fit Finlay retained the WCW TV Title.)
[Debra interfered against Fit Finlay.]

Debra's attempts at interference didn't draw a DQ this time, but they weren't enough for Wright get the win either. Wright yells at Debra after the match and storms off angrily.

The announcers recap the fued between Public Enemy and The Windham Brothers over the past weeks on WCW Saturday Night.

[Street Fight]: Falls-Count-Anywhere No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated The Windham Brothers (Barry Windham and Kendall Windham) when Rocco Rock

Raven and The Flock are in their usual ringside seats. Raven comes to the ring, gets a mic, and slumps in the corner. Benoit continues to chase goals he will never attain. He tries to show toughness and grit, but the more the rules losen the more the advantage is to Raven. Raven has been places more extreme, where there truly are no rules. Benoit is a lamb to the slaughter. He will feel Raven's pain, evermore.

The announcers talk about "Gentleman" Chris Adams and how the veteran wrestler has been winning alot lately on WCW Saturday Night. As a result, he's been given a non-title match with Chris Jericho. If he wins, he'll get a title shot next week.

[Non-Title Match]
Chris Jericho pinned Chris Adams after hitting him with a fire extinguisher in 0:13:30.
Rating: *** 1/4
[Eddie Guerrero interfered against Chris Jericho.]

Eddie came to ringside during the match. His presence repeatedly distracted Jericho, but Adams could not quite get Jericho down for a three count. Guerrero then rummaged under the ring and came up with a fire extinguisher. His efforts to distract the referee were successful, but Jericho won the fight to grab the fire extinguisher and KO'd Adams with it. Guerrero went to break up the pinfall, but didn't get there in time. He was still able to put the boots to Jericho who bailed, grabbed his title and walked off making the "I'm smarter than you" head-tapping gesture.

After commercials, we see Jericho in the back with a celebratory bottle of Molson. But when he takes a swig he immediately spits it back out. He exclaims his disgust that someone has swapped his beloved Canadian beer for tequila. He throws the bottle in a trash can and storms off out of view of the camera. A moment later, Eddie walks into the camera's view from the opposite direction and it's his turn to do the "I'm smarter than you" head-tapping gesture.

Scott Steiner made Booker T submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:12:25.
Rating: ****

Rick Steiner and Stevie Ray were at ringside for this but things managed to remain relatively civil. Rick wanted to congratulate his brother after the match for a victory and an excellent match, but Scott demanded a mic and proceeded to talk about how awesome he was and how he could beat Booker and Stevie Ray single handedly. Rick was clearly frustrated with his brother's ego trip.

Gene Okerlund is with Chris Benoit in the back. Benoit says Raven is just another coward, someone who became the very bully they always hated. People focus on his wrestling skills, how he can dismantle someone in the ring. But he's been to Japan where everybody is tough. He's been stretched by Stu Hart in The Dungeon so he knows real pain. He's also wrestled in extreme organizations. He beat Kevin Sullivan in a falls count anywhere match and he will beat Raven.

Lex Luger and The Giant defeated The nWo (Konnan and Louie Spicolli) when Luger defeated Konnan when Konnan passed out in the Torture Rack in 0:07:25.
Rating: *** 1/2

Ric Flair defeated Kevin Nash by disqualification in 0:06:09.

Henning ran in and attacked Flair. Diamond Dallas Page came out to even the odds and ended up brawling with Nash.

when Hogan pinned B. Hart after the Big Leg Drop in 0:05:22.
Rating: *
[Randy Savage interfered against Bret Hart.]

The match quickly ended up a pier six brawl. The Macho Man ran in and got up on the ring apron, distracting Bret. When he turned around, Hogan leveled him with a big boot and dropped the leg for the pin. Hogan, Savage, and The Disciple put the boots to Bret while Davey and Anvil brawl with Bagwell and Norton. Sting rapels from the rafters to the ring. He grabs Disciple and plants him with the Scorpion Death Drop. Sting has a standoff with Savage and Hogan for a moment, but then they realize he doesn't have a bat. Hogan tells Savage to attack and he does. Sting and Savage brawl as Hogan watches. He doesn't notice Bret slowly get up. Bret dropkicks Hogan into Sting and Savage as the show goes off the air.
